(Hey! I'm new to gaia. thought I'd start here, if that's ok. is it ok to just start? if not, sorry!)
Grace stared thoughtfully at the little dog in her lap. She's had it since she was 102. She's 208 now. To humans she looks about 8. She has big, sparkling violet eyes and jet black hair. Strangers passing tend to coo at her. It gets tiring after awhile.
Grace was hungry. Grace did not want to eat her dog, her pet chihuahua that her Uncle Seamus gace her for her birthday so many years before. She didn't want to eat people either. She was stymied. She sighed heavily and rolled the dog off her lap. She got up, stretched, and walked onto the patio that overlooked an expansive garden, full of vegetables, fruits, and any and every flower you can think of. Grace always found it ironic that something so full of life was owned by creatures who thrived on death. Her family has owned this estate for nearly 1000 years. It was a big, sprawling, stone giant of a thing that sat on top of a grassy knoll in the middle of an English moor. It was dreary, to say the least. But Grace was used to it. The grey and the dreariness grew on her.
But now she was hungry. And she didn't want to eat. She was becoming desperate.
