The translucent-winged kit crept out from the partially opened door, flicking her purple-tipped tails incessantly. Pulling her back end from the house and quickly turning, peering inside, she saw neither hide nor hair of her adopted siblings. She grinned and, with a bit of difficulty, managed to close the door by way of placing a forepaw on the side of the house and pulling the handle with the other. Quietly, of course.
Grinning mischievously, the little swirled kit turned tail and bolted off the porch. As soon as she left the porch, she sank straight into the snow with a squeal. Frowning at the offensive frozen water particles, she struggled to waddle as best as she could through the powdery stuff.
Once she reached the sidewalk and street, however, the snow was (for some reason) cleared, and the little kit grinned, bolting off to the left. She'd taken this trip many times with her siblings and Nichii, and she'd memorized how to get to the shop all by herself.
She skidded to a halt outside the shop and swiftly plopped herself down on her haunches, and she peered up at the building curiously with her head tilted to the side a bit. To go in, or not to go in? That was the question.
Not go in, duh!
If anyone saw her, they'd tell on her to Nichii and she wouldn't be able to ever sneak out ever again! That was no fun.
Instead, she peered from left to right at the thick blanket of snow around her. Spotting a rather large pile off to the side she grinned, and quickly jumped into a playful pose. Her tails twitched incessantly as her behind wiggled in the air, her butterfly wings fluttering a bit before, with a cry of amusement and glee, she pounced on the mound of snow.

((Whoo! Time jump! Anything that happens between the rp with Nuiks/Stu and now will be posted as a journal entry xD )) Bouncing along the snow the blue kit giggled and laughed as he bounced from one snow pile to another. He loved the winter a lot and was always excited to play in the snow. Though as he thought back on it he hadn't had a whole lot of fun in a long time.
After being taken by his still favorite sister to be trained in the arts of violence and demon and then 'rescued' by the wild pack leader, he really hadn't had alot of time for fun. This was his first time in being 'free' and he was going to enjoy it.
As he bounced along he eventually ended up at the shop. The little blue kit didn't want to go into the shop, as he hadn't quite gotten his newfound anger problems under control yet. He didn't want to hurt anyone. If he managed to hurt someone he would have no idea what to do...except to run away. He sat in front of the door a moment, his happiness now not as happy. Perhaps he should just turn around and go back the way he came.
He shook his head to rid himself of all the bad thoughts. The kit wanted to be happy and darn it all he was going to have fun today. Even if it killed him. Looking over at the snow piles near the shop the kit ran and leaped onto the snow pile, like it was a pile of leaves.

Lilly was busy wriggling in the pile of snow she'd jumped in, rolling over onto her side and flicking her tails. She grinned, flicking an ear, and pawed at some of the snow beside her before pushing some of it around thoughtfully. Maybe--
"EEK!" She squealed, flailing a bit as she suddenly found herself pounced by another wild kit. Somehow, he'd thought of pouncing the same snow pile she had. Luckily, he hadn't landed on her delicate wings; it would have been awful if he did. She stared up at him, lavender eyes wide in surprise and curiosity. "Who are you?"
Maybe he wanted to play in the snow just like she did? Maybe... maybe he wanted to play with her! "Do you want to play in the snow with me?" She asked abruptly, a grin suddenly spreading on her face. It would be wonderful to play in the snow with someone her age.

The blue kit noticed to late that there was already someone in the snow pile. "YIPE!" he yelled as he landed on the other kit. Quickly jumping off of the black and purple kit he looked at her and apologized a dozen or so times. "I'm so so so sorry. I didn't see you there. I really am sorry!"
Shaking his head at her question he didn't know why she'd want to play with him. Well it was more like that he was scared of hurting her with his anger should he get angry. Bad enough he already landed on top of her. "I...uhh...don't...uhh...know." the little kit stammered as he stared at her. Noticing her wings his eyes lit up slightly.
"Your wings are really pretty. They also don't look like anyone else's wings I've seen." He said with a nod. As he thought he decided that he wasn't going to let his fear get in the way. He hadn't made any real friends yet and he really wanted to have one. "My name is Stu, what's yours?" A smile was now on his face as he spoke.

"It's okay, really," she said with a wide grin, giggling profusely. He certainly was a silly one, wasn't he? "My name's Lilly!" She blinked and stopped laughing, her grin fading a bit. "Oh, manners! Uhh.." She scrunched up her nose, flicking her ears back as she tried to think of what Nichii and Mardi had told her about manners. Her thinking face was required for this. "Oh!" She said brightly, her grin returning. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Stu!" She giggled, bowing her head a bit. Nichii had told her wilds were supposed to do something like that upon meeting.
But, how could he not know if he wanted to play? That seemed strange, but oh well. Her face lighted up at the compliment. "Thank you!" She beamed, fluttering her translucent wings a bit as she turned her head to try and catch a glimpse of them. "I like them a lot, but I haven't met any other tems besides my adopted sisters. And you, of course," she grinned. "None of the tems I've seen have wings, though.. But Nichii says that some of them do; she's seen them." If Nichii had seen them and told her there were others, then there were others with wings. No questions asked.
"You look like I do!" She said suddenly; she'd noticed it before, but this was the first time she really noticed it, and it required further study. Therefore, she jumped up and trotted round him in a circle, studying his tails and his ear-tufts right down to his toes before plopping down in front of him again, grinning. "You're a wild too! I haven't seen another one before, but Nichii told me there were some other wild kits around and that I should meet some."
"So do you want to play in the snow with me?" She asked again suddenly after a short pause, quickly jumping into her play pose and wiggling her butt in the air, the tips of her tails flicking about her hind legs. "Izza taught me how to make a snow-fort!"

"It's uhh nice to meet you too." Stu stammered a little as he watched the female wild. He bowed back slightly still not knowing why he did but it just seemed natural. Perhaps he would figure it out eventually. He hoped. Really, really hoped.
"You haven't met any others with wings?!" The blue kit exclaimed, shocked that she had never seen anyone with wings. Though there were two winged ones at his house, as well as tons of others at the shop. "My brother has fluffy feathery wings and my sister has wings that look like a bats." He said with an affirmative nod. He'd have to introduce 'em someday.
"Yup, I am a wild. Just like you are. Though I don't have any pretty wings like you do though." Stu said with smile. It was actually nice having some interaction with others his own age. When she asked the question about playing in the snow again he paused, thinking of what he wanted to do and what his mind was telling him to do. Ignoring his mind he smiled and bounced a little.
"Sure! I'd love to play in the snow!" He kicked some snow at Lily and giggled. "Though," he paused as he thought about something. "What's a snow fort?"

"No, I haven't," she giggled, flicking her tails and squealing as he flung snow at her, so she hopped to the side and kicked some snow back at him, laughing. She paused, however, looking slightly shocked. "Your siblings have wings? Really?!" She could hardly believe it. Why didn't her siblings have wings? Oh well, it didn't matter if they didn't. She liked them as they were, anyway.
"You don't have wings, but you have pretty eyes," she grinned, jumping behind a snow pile. It was true, she thought his pale eyes were very pretty. Wait, he didn't know what a snow fort was? Well, she hadn't either, until Izza showed her what it was. She poked her head up from behind the snow, a small pile of it resting atop her head between her furry ears. "You don't? I'll show you, then!"
With a grin, she ducked behind the snow pile again and pushed as much of it forward as she could. She set to work packing it down with her black paws and building up a thick, hard wall of snow. She pulled over more and more snow, piling it up next to the wall and adding it on, making the wall longer. Once finished, she grinned and ducked down behind it. "See?" She asked, her voice muffled from the snow. She poked her head up again, just enough to see over the top, before poking her whole head out and grinning. "This is a snow fort! Want to have a snowball fight? If you want to have a snowball fight, you should make a fort, too!"

Stu couldn't help but blush at Lily's compliment of his eyes. He looked down at the ground hoping to avoid Lily's gaze if she were to look at him. The little blue kit was feeling mighty shy now. He had never had a compliment before. As the female kit started making her snow fort he couldn't help but get over the shyness and watch.
The snow fort...just looked like snow piled up. Just in the form of walls. He never knew snow could do that. Staring at her as she looked at him from over her wall of snow he couldn't help but shake his head. "I don't think I could build my own snow fort. I don't even think I could make snowballs to have a snowball fight with." He said slowly with a hint of sadness in his voice.

She hadn't noticed his shyness, as she'd instantly began building her fort. However, when he'd stated he couldn't make a snow fort nor snow balls, her eyes widened. "You can't?!" Oh dear. This could prove problematic, except... "I'm sure you can! You just need to try!" Lilly exclaimed, grinning. "Have you ever tried to make either of them before?" Not waiting to find out if he hadn't or not, she continued. "You never know until you try!"
And with that, she managed a graceful leap over the top of her fort wall, aided by the fluttering of her translucent wings, and bounded a couple yards off. "Come on, we'll make your fort here! I'll help you, okay?" She offered, grinning, as she pushed some snow into a pile.

Stu just watched the hyperactive female kit as she ran off to start helping him make his snow fort. This was really new for him. He had never played with kits his own age and after his 'lessons' with his older sister he was still having second thoughts about if it was safe to play. The blue kit walked slowly over as he thought over things. He had grown up quicker then he should have in his mind.
After a few moments he shook his head of all thoughts and tried to concentrate on only having fun. "Alright! That'll be nice." Stu couldn't help but laugh as he bounced the last few steps over to the female kit where she worked busily on making another snow fort. He kicked snow at her and with a devious grin asked, "Is that how you make the fort?"

Hyperactive wasn't a strong enough word to describe how the butterfly-winged wild kit was feeling and behaving. She was ecstatic, simply overjoyed; she'd been taught how to make a snowfort, something she had tons of fun with, and had the chance to switch places -- she the teacher, and someone else the pupil. It was a chance that she never had before, and she was eager to try and teach Stu everything she knew about snow forts.
She plopped her hindquarters down in the snow and began firmly packing the snow-pile into a snow-wall, and she opened her mouth to speak as she turned to look at Stu. "Wh--PLEH!" She spat, involuntarily shaking her head swiftly before toppling backwards with a mouthful of snow. Her shock quickly subsided into a fit of giggles as she rolled over and jumped up, going into her favorite play position with her butt wiggling in the air. "Oh, is that how you wanna play, is it?" She asked with a devious little grin of her own, and without further notice, she...
Turned and ran. And ran, until she got to her snow fort, where she quickly dove behind it. All was still for a few moments except a quiet rustling noise, and all of a sudden her tufted ears as well as lavender eyes poked out from behind the fort wall to locate her target.
Target locked.
With a cry of 'Ha!' the kit straightened up and tossed a snowball in Stu's direction. Two could play at this game.
