Has anyone given things up because they didn't feel very Lolita? Now I realize that some people dissasociate the clothing from any sort of lifestyle so I'm not saying that you have to stop doing things that don't relate to ruffles and Rococo.
But I'm kind of weird and even though I used to drink coffee all the time (the word addict was bantered about) I find myself feeling guilty, or something strange like that if I want to drink anything other than tea nowadays.
Has anyone done something similar or am I only one who needs to book a room in Bellevue?

yea its hard. but i feel that way too. all i have in my house is tea. well besides milk but i can justify that bu saying i can put it in my tea. ^^

Actually my choice of clothes has changed.
And sometimes i look in my closet and hate most of what i have XP
Must have more cute and less bright!
Well im transitioning from a teen to a young adult so yeah...
But Ive started to enjoy pastries a bit more... *watches tummy grow*

I haven't really changed at all. One of the things I love about Lolita is it fits my personality and lifestyle already. x3

i have become nicer started drinking tea and my dissorders are going away which is awsome^^
i was getting tired of being more then one person ^^;
and i am not as......well....manly...you see i am a lesbian and i used to be quite boyish..that's why i never saw this coming. but when i am in lolita and see one of my ex's i feel aquared*don't know how to spell T-T* becouse i used to get mistaken for a guy all the time...know that nearly ever happens.....then i got a boyfriend....which i am still getting used to and he hates it when i dress bodyish so i always dress loli or visual...so i have changed a lot do to lolita....i even stopped cursing (which i love to do)when i am in lolita......i even started to listen to a lot more classical music and started doing embrodery 0-o

Ive always drank tea.
Love it with a passion.
And ocassionally Ill drink coffee (starbucks)
whee
But yes Ive changed the way I dress Drasticly
I try not to wear pants everyday
Or my band shirts.
( crying which is horrid because I love them but I dont think they look good anymore)
Now I either dress Lolita or what I call, Modern Day Lolita.
Basically, light jeans with lace Ive sewn on, and a skirt over them.
With a lacey tank top and light sweater.
Oh and a headdress or headband made of lace.
-make sure it matches the skirt-
(cmon no one dresses Lolita everyday)

I started caring about the way I look sweatdrop
I used to never wash my face, and hardly ever look in the mirror, because In my mind it was, "Ah, whatever, I could care less :p"
Im not obsessive over how I look now, but I do wash my face and check in the mirror to make sure my eye hasnt fallen out or something XD
I got into my sewing more, as well ^_^ But thats about it, I've kind grown up in a lolita like home biggrin

My choice in clothing has changed. I've given away bags of old clothes away so I can fill my closet with more Lolita-esque clothing. Of course, not all clothing. There are days I just want to wear jeans and a t-shirt..
Usually I wear white blouses with a jumper over it, white stockings and black shoes. I need more skirts, I only have a few.
Any other changes...well, my hair used to be really short, now its down my back :3 the longest it has been in a long time. I still curse like a sailor sometimes, but I'm not as bad as I used to be. Not because I want to fit the...'Lolita image'. Just coz I grew up I guess. xD

I've always fit into the Lolita lifestyle rather naturally, but I'm currently working on not talking too loud in conversation. I've always had a voice that I can very easily project (and for my job as a riding instructor, it suits it well), and sometimes I worry I become too garish and loud during regular chat. Not in word content, but in volume. sad
