Of course, I checked it out from the library, but it doesn't give me enough time to
  absorb the information. :(

..Nietzsche and Kant. (To be specific: Geneology of Morals and The fundamental principles of the metaphysics of ethics.)

gonk

Either that or give me a job.
Books are ******** expensive. :I

I'm pretty much broke now. I spent the last of my x-mas money on Suicide by Emile Durkheim. I highly reccomend it if you haven't read it already, it's interesting. Hard to read at first, but it picks up pace after awhile. 3nodding

I haven't been reading books for pleasure since I got through with the 7th Harry Potter book. I should, though. I just don't go to the library, go book shopping, or find too many books THAT interesting.

I should try, though.

I recently read Stet, Damnit!, the complete (early 1990s to early 2000s) Misanthrope's Corner column by Florence King for the National Review. Oh ******** awesome. Don't care if it's a conservative mag, Florence King is a GODDESS of misanthropy, snark, and wit.

Now I'm re-reading The Hobbit by JRR Tolkein. I first read this book my freshmen year of highschool (7 years ago) and I must say - I enjoy it much better now then I did then. LOTR series is up next as I went out the other day and bought a paperback set of the four books for my own personal use and because the set my mother bought was published in the 70s and is practically loved to death.
