I didn't realize my other white molly was pregnant... Until she gave birth. She's kind of small in size so I thought maybe she'd reproduce when she was older but I guess not. The babies from the last batch (mother is the other molly) were born blackish white and they ended up turning gray<3 This batch with 10 fry is way darker and will hopefully stay dark!

Aww,
Congrats!
I've never really had much success with fry personally, always released them back into the aquarium too early, and they ended up becoming a snack sweatdrop
But it's great to hear yours are doing so well!
Hope they grow up to be some really pretty fish biggrin
I'm sure they will.

Lol thanks!
When it's time to put them in the main aquarium I get scared that they will get eaten cause all the big fish chase the little ones around but after their an inch, they can't be snack. smile

Ya well thats live baerers for you. Actually i dont like them for that reason, you cant thell when they are pregnant and you cant really stop them from breeding.

Well it's possible to tell if the fish is pregnant or not but that week I was too busy to observe my tank to see if any fish had a big stomach and a gravid spot. Well you could try separating the females and the males.
