Curled up on a couch in the Realm HQ was Sere. It was hardly an unusual sight, the skittish male as far back as possible--nearly stuck between the back and seat cushions--with tails wrapping his form like a glove. Time away from his mate had reverted him a little bit. Only a little, of course. Having to deal with his daughter had been enough to keep him from pulling back into himself completely. For a while he'd tried to shelter her the way he'd wanted to be as a kit. She slept in his tails, but mostly wandered around. Not like her father, who'd spent nearly his entire kithood hiding in his father's tails. Amber eyes peered out from behind paws, watching the room and the young adult exploring it still. He was honestly glad that his daughter had stayed with him for so long... Well, she had stayed with her father. Had she not loved him so very much, she would've been out exploring the world by now. Until she felt comfortable leaving him alone, world exploration would have to wait. All three tails flicked behind her as she lowered her nose to the ground, sniffing and trying to memorize the scents of every Kitsu that had passed through. The smells were so muddled and many, however, that she had a difficult time. Every once in a while she would cast her soft gaze to her father and wave a paw when he looked back.

Why must they go to the headquarters today? Surely there was no one there, like there wasn't every other day of the week. But Ronan had said so, and Spinelli would respect his elders. Though he did crack a grin once to the brighter colored male, asking if they could have pizza. His answer? Sure, if you can cook it. Spinelli shook his hazy thoughts as they entered the building, white barred tails waving fully. But what was this? A familiar scent? The older male yawned widely as he walked with the youngster. Well, not a youngster anymore. He was in bemused awe to watch the other grow and mature. Easy to say he had near heart attack when Spin dropped under one of his sleeping spells. But it soon became a common occurance to simply wait on. Ronan blinked to the other, smirking as they made it to HQ. Time for his family reunion, eh?

Akari beamed excitedly at the thought of their family reunion at last. This was their first one, if she recalled correctly. Their first offically planned one anyway. She would have prefered this happened much earlier, before her children grew up to be adults...but things came up which added onto the delays. But no matter! They were going to meet now. Her sand swirled tails wiggled with excitment as she made her way towards the HQ, with her son not too far behind her. She missed her mate and her children. Of course, she missed Ronan too. She hadn't seen their old time friend in such a long time. His reaction when they asked for him to take care of their other child was a most interesting one, too. The blue female could only wonder if that's how he still felt now. The crimson colored male grumbled lightly as he followed behind his mother. He couldn't act too ungrateful to her, after all, she was the one who gave him his existence. Plus she had this weird little way to force people to willingly participate in whatever she wanted them to. The scary part was half the time she doesn't even mean to. Still, this long walk was going to get his drop-dead gorgeous fur dirty. He'll have to make note to groom himself when they arrived.

The friendly little wave his daughter sent him was returned with a slightly hesitant one. Of course, this was only because his own paws were tucked so cosy and warm. How silly, that he felt so hesitant to wave at his own spawn for fear of letting his paws get cold. Sere chuckled sheepishly at himself. Then he saw her moving again, looking more energetic now, for whatever reason. It wasn't until a confused and curious moment later that whatever she had noticed made its way to him. Lifting his head, he sniffed.
The more aware of the two, Avel's nose immediately shot up from the floor. All three tails wiggled expectantly. Was it time already? She'd nearly forgotten in her goal to memorize smells. And as full up as her nose was, she could still scent familiarity. Giggling, she made a run for the door. Whomever was coming better watch out! She was on the move.

Not one second after they opened the door, Spin winced and 'oophed' as he was plowed into. His blackened form curled inward, hugging the body of his tackler as they rolled a full circle before landing on his back. Pale eyes blinked reopen, and nose wriggled to the familiar scent before him. Was this his sister? The scent said so, but he couldn't be certain with how the other was laying against him. "Avel?..."
"Woah now!" Ronan leapt to the side as he avoided the crashing tumble of furs that rolled by. Well, that was one way to greet another. Canting his head to make sure they were alright, the male flicked his tail tips before entering further in the building. Surely one of the parents were here with the blue daughter...

Her face lit up like a Christmas tree on Christmas morning when she saw her two other children. She hadn't seen either of them since they were eggs, but she could immediately tell by several different methods that they were in fact her children. "Kids! Ronan!" She yelled estaticly. "It's very good to see you all again," she continued, "How've you been? Not causing too much trouble for Uncle Ronan and your Father, are you now?" She grinned.
Good thing he wasn't first! His beautiful fur would be even more ruined if that were the case. He was sure lucky. Sanskrit hoped his siblings wouldn't tackle him. He spent hours to make himself look this good! Well, he always looked pretty good to begin with, but for this special occation he had to spend extra time. "Hey guys," he added quietly. They would surely compliment him on his beautiful fur today, right? He wouldn't want his hours gone to nothing.

Amber eyes widened from the couch. It wasn't everyday he saw his daughter charge the door and go rolling out with whatever poor soul she'd tackled. "Avel..." he called quietly, wary of raising his voice more as he stood ad jumped from the couch. A few steps towards the door and he was surprised. Not by his daughter's return, but instead by the bright colors of a familiar old friend. "Ronan," he called happily, a bit louder, tails picking up a wiggle. His mate's arrival was still a mystery, since she was outside with the kids. However, he looked quite excited now. "How have you been?" A few more steps. Silently, he wondered how raising that kit had gone... Heh. He and Akari may have been a bit pushy on that one.
"Hi, Mommy!" The peach banded girl exclaimed, tails swaying back and forth while she herself was still perched atop her victim brother. "Hi, Uncle Ronan!" Her happy voice said she had most assuredly been a good girl. Finally satisfied in that area, she looked down to her cushion, acknowledging that he'd questioned her. "Of course it's Avel, Spin. Who else?" The joking tone in her voice was obvious as she moved to give him some air, nuzzling at his neck and shoulders instead. "And Sans is here, too. Maybe we should include him in the group hug." A secret little smile crossed her maw. A sly and playful side of her personality that was usually portrayed as playful only to the unsuspecting parental figures.

Mommy? Tangerine eyes blinked opened as he tried to glance around, but became distracted with his sister's antics. He nuzzled back lightly as he rolled forward to sit on his flanks. "You mean Sanskrit?" He had atleast gotten to know his siblings names, thanks to Ronan telling him so. But as far as knowing them well individually, that was another story. He peeked over to the bright red kitsu, nodding his head in greeting before turning back to Avel. "You first." He wasn't the most energized of kitsus, so why not let his sister have some fun first. The black male waved tenderly over at his mother as she walked nearer.
Ronan just made out the sounds of others outside before he passed the threshold. It must have been one of the kits and Akari...who else bothered to think the name Uncle Ronan? Dx But the male turned his attention to another voice inside, grinning widely when it turned out to be Sere. His paw lifted and scrubbed the other's hair playfully. "Well, if it isn't the man of the house! How's life treated you, eh?" His own tails wagged coolly behind him. Maybe he'd talk later of his own life.

The usual warm smile grew on her face. She was more than pleased to see her kids get along so well not too soon after meeting. She was also pleased to see her mate as well as their old time friend, Ronan were doing well. Perhaps his influence was better than he expected of himself. She knew they could rely on him. Even if it was a bit forced, her other son grew up to be a rather good son from what she could see so far. Maybe a little bit hesitant and skiddish like his father, but still a good son. "Avel~ Spin~ How are you two?"
His eyes widened at their words. What? Group hug? That would surely ruffle and ruin his beautiful fur! "Noooo!" He screamed dramatically, "No group hug!" He almost hissed. Almost immediately he dashed away from his two siblings, hoping to escape that group hug.

Another bright and innocent smile lit her face as she turned to acknowledge her mother once more. "I'm good, Mommy. Glad to see everyone!" Family reunions were nice, she decided. They needed to be done more often. After all, what was the fun in staying locked in the HQ with just their father who never wanted to play? A quick wag of her tails and she returned her attention to her brothers. "Suit yourself," she told Spin with a playful shrug. Before she could include their red brother in the love-fest, however, he'd taken off. Pale eyes blinked curiously. "Haha, I guess Sanskrit wants to play tag!" she joked back at her other brother before taking off in a run. "I'm it!"
Sere automatically leaned into the friendly gesture, a smile widening on his maw. "As well as can be expected," he responded with a sheepish laugh, settling back onto his haunches. "At least there hasn't been too much-" The sounds of outside met his ears and they slid back, twitching gently. "-excitement." Shutting his eyes, he laughed a bit more. "Everyone else is here, too?" All the crazy outside certainly couldn't be coming only from Avel. And he thought he'd heard 'mommy.' "They make a lot of noise." Well, his daughter made a lot of noise, anyway...

What a drama queen. Spinelli just glimpsed to his odd brother than acted and even smelled like a pampered femme. There was always one in the family. The dark male yawned lightly then flicked his tails around his ankles. A smile graced his face to his approaching mother, and he stood to meet her half way. A nuzzle across the face and the son was content. "I'm well. And you?"
Ronan just shrugged with a chuckle. "Guess you spoke too soon." Ears pinned back to the open door behind them. "Sounds like it." So he wasn't the only one to hear voices. A brow rose at Sere with amusement. "Yeah?" Now that was an odd word to match with the black male. Noise. Sere. ...Sere, noise. 8D; Ronan spoke up some as he stood and they made their way outside. "I guess Spinelli takes after you then?"

She could definitely see a lot of herself in Avel. The playfulness and rather out-going personality in comparison to that of her mate's. Spin took after his father without a doubt, while Sans was somewhere in between with some other genes from their gene pool mixed in. Neither of them were vain to that point. Perhaps someone older than them carried that gene and somehow it got passed down to Sans? Either way, her children were adorable. She loved them all, all in their own cute way. Nuzzling her shy son softly with a smile, she replied gently, "I'm well, too. I'm glad to hear you've been well. How has living with Uncle Ronan been? Quite the experience?" she grinned before adding, "I hope you haven't been causing him too much trouble."
He never asked for this. He wanted a nice, quiet family reunion with his siblings, not one where his sister chased him around trying to mess up his fur! Sans loved her dearly, truly, but did she have to do this to him? Ugh! And if he asked mommy to help him out, he'd look like such a wuss! Spin wasn't even doing anything to help him, either. The odds were stacked against him. This was not fair at all.

"AWW." Avel stopped, lower jaw jutting out as she made a pouty face at her still fleeing brother. "I just want some love." That was all, honest. It didn't occur to her that a crazy bear hug would ruffle Sans's fur quite a bit more than he wanted. "Don't you wanna give your only adorable sister a hug?" Not waiting for a reply, she began towards him again. A bit slower this time, but certainly not lacking enthusiasm.
"I must have," he muttered, still looking sheepish and hardly able to recover. The idea that his children had grown so differently than he was slightly puzzling. Then again, he knew he was quite different from his own father and felt it almost every time they met... Hm. He idly wondered where his father was. It was rare that he journeyed outside the HQ. But his thoughts were cut off as Ronan spoke again. "Does he?" So, one of his kids had taken after him in a way? That... Well, he wasn't sure whether to be proud or worried about that one. "I guess he's a quiet one." Another laugh. Quiet would be good. Scared of his own shadow like daddy, not so much.

Ears slid coolly left to right, listening to both his mother and the ruckus behind him. Pale eyes blinked in thought, before deciding on an answer. "It has been....just being? I can't really say, just normal days spent really." His voice carried a bit monotone, but he was honest and polite in his responses. Lip lifted halfway in a faint smile. "Me? Trouble? I...don't think so..." Wagin, he wasn't too sure. It was hard to judge past things when he was too busying being involved in them. Eyes turned in bemusement to his opposite colored siblings.
The ex-fighter leaned against the doorway, glancing to the others outside while listening to the other male. What a cheery little family group. White eyes looked to Sere for a second before shrugging. "Seems like it. A bit on the quiet side, but none too jittery." Sorta like a cat too relaxed to be bothered by anything. "Heh, he has his moments though." Yep, just like a cat.

With a slight pout in his maw, he considered the thought a little bit. It has been a long while since he saw his siblings. And she did have a good point, she was his only sister. Maybe just a small one wouldn't hurt his fur too much. With much resistance and hesitation, he slowly moved towards his sister with an arm extended. His face was full of sourness and uncertainty, like he was about to hug a cactus. Just one hug...it wouldn't hurt too much. "Just one, though. And nothing too hard..." He said hesitantly.
A soft smile formed upon her maw at her son's answer. Good. Even though he was sort of...forced upon their "Uncle", she wouldn't want her child to be bothersome to him. But that was to be expected, otherwise they'd get a scolding from her when they met. "Guess what, kids?" She asked with a grin. There was another purpose to this meeting besides having a family gathering. Oh yes...A rather unexpected surprise for them.
