I would like to say that in my opinion that the worst set for yugioh is Tactical Evolution. There was a lot of hype but this set fell short in my opinion, just because some of the cards look good but almost had no playabilitiy, and as for some of the big cards they were almost impossible to get or got reprinted. So over all I think that this set was a bomb in my eyes.

I agree, it was a pretty anticlimactic set. But overall I think that the Ancient Sanctuary was a poor set, there was nothing really amazing about it except for Archlord Zerato.

Kale Nightwind I agree, it was a pretty anticlimactic set. But overall I think that the Ancient Sanctuary was a poor set, there was nothing really amazing about it except for Archlord Zerato. What about E - CON and Zaborg the Thunder Monarch ?

Personally, I'd have to say the first set. Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon. Aside from a hand full of great cards, the majority of the set was normal monsters with horribly pathetic attack values. Level 5 monsters with no effect and 1700 attack? I think not. The cards I value in this set are rather limited. Raigeki (unfortunately unuseable), Monster Reborn (glad to have it back), Pot of greed, Exodia, Dark Magician, Blue Eyes. There may be another five cards at the most that I consider worth while, but for the most part I find the set to be quite ridiculous. Perfectly understandable, though, why the set sucked so bad. The game was only a fledgling at the time. Totally forgivable.

Magic/Spell Ruler.
The set had almost nothing to it. Sure I'll give it Snatch Steal, Confiscation,Mystical Space Typhoon, and Delinquent Duo, but that was it. The Toon monsters were a dead hit cause they can't even attack the summon turn and may be destroyed by the next turn if Toon World is taken out. Relinquished is a big NO. Out of 130ish cards only 4 of them actually saw great competitive play and that was it, everything else was a fluke or dead hitters.

I'll have to disagree. Magic Ruler also came out with the majority, if not all of the monster searchers (Mystic Tomato, Shining Angel, etc.).
The most useless pack I believe was Lost Millennium. Terrible Elemental Heroes, terrible support, just a god awful pack.

Lost Millennium saw the birth of the Ancient Gear Golem. If played properly, you can make him 12k attack during the battle phase and your opponent can't do anything to stop it. Except possibly tossing a kuriboh.

However, I will give it recognition for the soon-to-be-released Gear Town. Also don't forget the fusion. I have made a very nasty combo with that thing. Future fusion the Ultimate out. attack with it then, during the battle phase, typhoon the future fusion (destroying it) and special summon the AGG from your graveyard. You can then attack with AGG.

The fusion is adequate, as it's the only successful card if you tried building an Ancient Gear deck presently. Gear Town will make an entire Ancient Gear deck competetive.

i would have to say as far as the worst set ever is the duelist packs featuring the gx characters, sure there were some cool monsters but i really hate theme based cards so i really hate when they put them into the circuit and the fact that the packs were 6 cards only

Gear Town will make an entire Ancient Gear deck competetive. i agree when i heard of UAGG i wanted it so bad that i got 2 of the same card in 1 day and i do have a gear town thank god for 5ds for bringin in the new sets

Cyberdark Impact.
Worst set EVER.
Snipe Hunter is all it has going for it.
Unless you're a Cyberdark fan. Even then they aren't good.
