Since this is the off-topic subforum. We'll be talking about something not related to Twilight. Besides the Twilight series and Stephenie Meyer, are they're any other books or authors you like?
For me another great author would have to be Cecelia Ahern. I just love her books. They're extremely interesting. Yet another , Sophie Kinsella which I'm sure you all know about. Has a newly released book called " Remember Me? " and I am dying to get my hands on it. So, any other authors/books? I actually think it's pretty sad if your life revolves around just one book. So, share your interests.

I love Sophie Kinsella (especially her Shopaholic series)! I also like Maureen Johnson (The Keys to the Golden Firebird, Girl at Sea, and - my personal favorite - 13 Little Blue Envelopes), and Scott Westerfield (Uglies, Pretties, Specials, Extras, So Yesterday, and the Midnighters series). Oh, and Sarah Dessen (my favorite book by her is Just Listen). heart

I've read rennison's books too! i also like celia reese, she wrote an awesome series about this girl whois convicted of being a witch in the trial times, and this is her diary. the second one is good too. the book is called "Witch child."
Also, i just got a book called "vampire academy". I forgot who the author is, but it's almost as good as twilight...except really different. i like twilight better, but this one is good. try it.

'How I Live Now' by Meg Rosoff: Described as a 'classic of our time', this book is indescribably amazing. You have to read it.
'Noughts and Crosses' by Malorie Blackman: Stays in your mind a long time after you've read it. I love the main character in this even more than I love Edward Cullen, and that's saying something! This book is also just... ugh, I can't even begin to explain how incredible it is!

Well if you want more fantasy stuff then read "wicked lovely." I don't have the book with me so I can't remember who wrote it, sorry. For a pretty good realistic one, try "as simple as snow" by Gregory Galloway. It's pretty good.

Books are my life! That and music.
I like Tolkien the best, his books match if not best the movies.
Brian Jacques was my favorite author when I was little and Marlfox is my favorite book by him
Lee Goldberg, who writes books for the monk series that's also a tv show
And I'm currently reading books by Robert Jordan he has 10 books in the wheel of time series, I'm on book five. All of them have anywhere between 400-1000 pages, so you'll be entertained for a while.

I like re-reading the HP series from time to time. I love books by Christopher Pike (except for some of his more recent ones that I just can't get into as much as the older ones) and Pete Hautman. The Bartimaeus Trilogy is amazing as well. It's by Johnathon Stroud and the thing that's really unique about the series is the footnotes whenever Bartimaeus is telling the story from his POV. For more... pleasurable reading, I read books by Nina Bangs. Sorry, Meyer but Bangs' Eric beats Edward any day of the week.

Well, I recently read the Sweep series by Cate Teirnan (I can't spell her last name >.> ) But they are really good. About Wicca, just to warn you before you read them. But they are super super good. I adore them as much as I adore the Twilight series! (Which is a lot)

omg there's a series I just got addicted to. The author is Christine Feehan and the books are around 350+ pages. If you like romance, I mean they are really good. There's also fighting and mystery. Vampires and whatnot, they are really good.
