and the Conservatives couldn't be freaking out over McCain even more. Who do you think McCain will share a ticket with?

I'm thinking he'll probably ask huckabee to be the running mate , The only reason I'd ever want Hucabee to win is cause he promised Stephen Colbert that he would be his running mate XD and I want to see how he'd react.

Wow, talk about crazy. I truly did not expect Romney to drop so soon.
While the race does seem to be McCain's to lose, remember that it is not so much the popular vote as the DELEGATES who matter. Both Huckabee and Paul have been strategizing for delegates more than votes (yes that is possible) and I strongly suspect both may be using stealth delegates. So it's actually not possible in most states to say how many delegates a candidate has. Things will become clearer after the conventions in each State. We are LONG way from that. Once the States elect their delegates and we know how each delegate is first-ballot pledged-- then we will know more.
There's also the rather unresolved issue of Romney's delegates. Because he "suspended" his race, we don't really know what is going to happen to his delegates. They aren't precisely free agents but I don't think they are pledged to Romney either. Stay tuned, civics lesson in the making.... and remember too that Romney and McCain REALLY don't like each other.

Very true! I personally don't like Mitt Romney, but I was very surprised he "suspended" his campaign. We just have to sit back and watch things unfold. 3nodding

well he dropped out cause he put a couple million of his own dollars in to the campaign and he probably didn't want to keep spending so much.

And now he's endorsing John McCain... I didn't see that one coming. Why is a hardcore conservative endorsing such a "moderate" republican???

Decidedly strange.
But it's about to get crazier. Without saying too much. let's say a document is soon to be released which will cast serious aspersions on the ability for McCain to be certified as a presidential candidate due to the condition of birth.
