Ah, the day had came, and enough abilities had finally thudded into Mignon's head just what her calling must be.
So there she was, climbing the steps of the mansion. Fingertips trailed lightly on the walls as she moved to Chaco's room and knocked lightly.
After all, she wouldn't want to catch Chaco in a state of undress. That'd just be gross.

Fortunately for Mignon, Chaco was NOT in a state of undress, he was lying in bed and staring at the ceiling. In a not so great mood, unfortunately, that had been brought on by Illesi. As such, the crystals now had a pillowcase lying over it, in an attempt to get the Binder to just... SHUT UP already.
Jarred back to reality by whatever dream world he'd been in, Chaco sat up and stared at the door. He wasn't expecting anyone, since most of the mansion household didn't even care for his existence. And Ryuu had a harder knock than that.
Grunting slightly, the chocolate Sin'aeis stood and stretched a bit, tucked in his wings, and then looked moved to open the door. Beyond it was... "You're... Mignon, correct?"

"I am. And you're Chaco. It's been a while." Mignon grinned up at the man. "Bigger than I remember you to be."
He was, by quite a bit. She looked him up and down and grinned wider. Lucky for him she still equated him of a more 'fatherly' status, and the poor man wouldn't be molested today.
"Is Illesi in, or did you shove him off in a closet somewhere? He said you two don't get along."

The first comment made Chaco nod, "As are you. You were tiny when I last saw you." He really didn't get out enough.
However, the second comment made the teen Sin'aeis grimace. Illesi. Damn stupid Binder. "We don't. We haven't since we were really little." Chaco couldn't even remember how long ago it was that the two had met. Possibly BEFORE he could even remember. It was typical for binders and breeders to be put together for training at the earliest possible times.
"No, I didn't stuff him in a closet, although that's a good idea," he said and turned into the room. "Come in, just... try not to make a mess of anything." Not that she would, but it had become habit for him to say that because of his mother. Aylee loved to pick things up and put them down elsewhere whenever she could. Something to do with liking to move her hands about, maybe.
Well, regardless... Chaco pulled the pillowcase off the crystals and was met with a very annoyed Illesi.
"YOU. Are a jackass." A simple statement, but the argument HAD been started by Illesi himself, so. Pfft. The silver-haired Sin took note of Mignon behind the winged boy, "Why hello there lovely. Back to see me?"

Mignon laughed at the pair. Psh. Boys.
"Of course I came back to see you." Mignon said, grinning. " You said you'd tell me what my higher calling was. And I think my abilities are finally clear enough for even me to pick up on."

Illesi smiled and winked at her, causing Chaco to invariably roll his eyes. Of course, the former decided to ignore the latter and said, "Do you now. Well, lets get this started, shall we? Though I think it would be easier if Ariadn were to leave the room." He shot a glare at Chaco.
"My room, not a chance. Besides, it's not like I haven't sat in on these things before." What was Illesi trying to get at, getting him out of the room. Damn Binder.
Sigh. No more alone time with the beautiful Mignon. Alas. "Well, since my idiot partner refuses to leave us alone, I suppose we'll have to go about it the normal way. Care to tell me what you think your job is, love?"

Ah, the pair was amusing. They acted like brothers. How sweet.
"Well, like I said. Even I understand things sometimes. And I think my abilities say I'm supposed to be an actress."
Which was fine with her if that's what she was supposed to be.

Well, in a sense they WERE brothers. You didn't grow up being forced together every day, often sleeping in the same room for a few years (yeah, like that REALLY got them to work together; more like devolved into fistfights in the middle of the night) and not develop a sense of family. Even if the two HAD hated each other for as long as either could remember. Sometimes these things just happen.
Actress, though. Close enough. It was really the same thing as Actor, just feminized. "And your proof for this?" Illesi smiled at her, charm on full blast.

"Well..." Mignon pouted and started ticking off on her fingers. "I like being the center of attention and I like being praised. Plus I can memorize scripts wicked fast, I can do good at dance and projecting my voice. And I'm good at holding people's attention when I talk to them. I thought I might be a dancer for a bit... But, with all the stage classes I've been taking per the quests, it makes much more sense to be an actress."

Chaco stared at Mignon. Actress, huh? Well, with those abilities, that made sense. It was interesting that Mignon was the first Sin to discover her job. Chaco would have thought it would be Akilah, since he knew she'd been introduced to Illesi already and was probably thinking about it.
Of course, Mignon was completely correct. However, even for those he liked Illesi wasn't supposed to give up this easily. "Hmm, that's a good argument, but what makes you think the job wouldn't be director? They would have a similar skill set as well."

"Yeah, but if I was a director, I'd probably have more skills that'd be better use behind the camera." Mignon said. Huh. apparently she had thought about this! "Probably stuff that'd help me pick people, see talents, stuff like that. All of my talents are good for being out there, being seen. Not being behind the scenes."

Illesi smiled again. That was indeed true. "Well then, what about a comedian? They too need the same skills." Yes, perhaps she had thought about it. But he had to make absolutely certain SHE was certain.
Chaco could already tell from the way Illesi was phrasing things that he was having trouble putting up an argument. Mignon's proof HAD been rather extensive and sure. And even Chaco had been convinced that was her job. Illesi was just grasping at straws...

"Mmhm, they do. But they don't need to know choreography. And I'd probably be better at improv than I am. I don't have that good of a sense of humor, either. And none of my quests have involved me having to be funny. They've mostly been about me around people, me in front of people, or me on a stage preforming. And seem to be involving a lot of me reading Shakespeare...."
Oddly enough, she was starting to like the bard.

Shakespeare? Illesi hadn't heard of him, but then, he was from a different dimension so it wasn't surprising. He was pretty sure of what she meant, however. Chaco was right, Illesi HAD been grasping at straws. Most fully-trained Binders would have been able to put up an argument for at least five minutes. But Illesi's training had also been cut short, like Chaco's had been.
"You pass, love. You are, indeed, and Actress." His smile broadened. She was smart, that at least was true. Or, smarter than some he'd come up against in the past. And certainly smart enough to come to him only when she'd had enough clues. That had been such a pitiful argument, even he was ashamed to admit it. "So how do you feel?"

Mignon laughed.
"Not too different. Glad that my job isn't something gross, for sure. I like it. It fits me."
It did. Funny, how the things you were good at changed how you developed... But it didn't matter. She knew what her calling was and she liked it.
"Picked a good one for me, Illesi."
