I want to get one of these guitars for my birthday, they are both 400, should I get the Quilt top Les Paul or the standard Fender Telecaster.

What kind of msuic do you play? Frankly, I just love Teles, so my vote's for the Telecaster. Also, Fender seems to have better quality control on their lower end models more than Epiphone.
