ok so apparently in the interview with kristen stewart (link on the stephenie meyer website) there was mention of Bella being carried by Edward through the treetops???? What is up with that? Are they getting rid of the car scene from port angeles? I hope not.
Her interview was good though. I like her description of robert. Kudos to Kristen!

I read that, I hope they do not massacre the book by making it so... different from the book? I cant think of the words right now. But then again as you were saying it only is based on the book.

Oh I know. I couldn't believe it when I read it. I'm pretty sure that the term 'flying squirrels' popped up in my head too about the same time. I have a quote of it to if anyone doesn't remember exactly what Kristen said. I found it on the MTV Movie Blog site. Jeez, I started to really freak out about the movie after reading this and a few other descriptions a few other characters described in their interviews. Quote: “The main character is like, superhuman,” Stewart said of the action scenes in the script. “He’s a vampire, but with really [heightened powers]; he can run faster than a car can drive, and he’s super strong. He throws me over his back [in one scene], right before he’s going to tell me that he’s a vampire, and then he runs over the treetops. And we’re going to be in real treetops; we’re not just going to CGI it. We actually get to go up there, and that’s what I’m stoked on.”

When I first heard about the tree-tops I freaked too... But I'm over it. Obviously all of us die-hard fans, when in the theater watching this are going to be like: "Omg! That's so wrong. That never happened! Holy crap I can't believe they left that part out!" And annoy the crap out of our fellow movie goers. But just think of the Harry Potter movies. They're still good movies. Yeah they leave a bunch of stuff out, but they have to. If they kept every single detail in the book, in the movie, it wouldn't keep people interested, and it would be an extremely loong movie. Yeah we would like it, but people who haven't read the books would want their money back. And part of me only really wants people who've read the books to see it. Because people who read the books after the movie, just aren't as cool as real fans. Although it's kind of stupid of me to think that way. P:

P: i agree....but really..i couldn't even remember the books when i went to see the movies so i can't really relate... sweatdrop i think it would be kool if they made the movie like really long just for us...like a mini series. Almost like what they did for pride and prejudice! YEA!...but i'm coping with what we've got. I'm still a bit scared though. I just don't want it to be like with the sisterhood of traveling pants...SO much stuff got cut out and it was really changed up. It messed me up and now i can't really read the last book...call me crazy!
