I just watch it for the Janto xd
Well okay not just that but yeah.... its just fast paced and sexy and all that innit. sweatdrop

Well, I watch it because I was a fan of Doctor Who, and I heard about it from there. Decided it might be worth watching, especially as Jack was one of my favourite characters, so it kind of came from there.

I called her on the phone and she touched herself... What's not to love? There is action, it's funny, there's just enough drama so it's not too ridiculous, it's got great characters, one heck of a sexy male cast, and it is totally open with all kinds of relationships (gay, straight, interracial) and it doesn't make a big deal out of it which is nice to see in a show. Plus Janto, Jack/Jack, Jack/John.. SO hot.
Sidenote: How could I forget? They have a friggen PTERODACTYL living in their HQ. How freaking cool is that??? ...I laughed myself to sleep.

The reason why i got into it was beacause i saw Jack Harkness and the original Jack Harkness kissing on someones signature..so i wanted to know what it was and ...yeah...

Well I wuv DW, and then when I found Torchwood existed it was juts so amazing!
Torchwood is amazingly sexy, and cool, and funny, and (because I'm a geek, I just have to say this) the CGI and storylines arrow SMEGGIN AMEZZING!

Personally, I watch Torchwood because I enjoy the deconstruction of archetypes and societal norms that the writers work to accomplish. It's especially notable in that the show is a spin-off of a show that's become a part of UK culture, so everything that the writers play around with is doubly powerful.
(And, of course, I like most of the characters, the dialogue, the storylines...)

While on an escapade to watch Dr. Who on youtube, I came across the Jack/Jack kiss and I was like "Oh this is interesting" and then I heard it was a Dr. Who spinoff and I just HAD to watch then.
A vast majority of my sticking-around-ness is because of Ianto. I mean, come on! He's adorable! I also love the pacing and the plots and how much you can really start to care about each character.
