As you all know, Valentine's Day is coming up, so we're having a small party. The party will start on Thursday, February 7th and will end on Monday, February 18th. This is our party guestbook. Everyone who signs will be entered into our Valentine's day raffle. We have a ton of items to give away, so please be sure that you sign! Everyone will get something! This quote means that Valentines Day is basically a pagan holiday that has been redesigned into a Christian holiday. (Like so many others . . .)!

This is going to be my first Valentine's Day with a boyfriend so I am pretty thrilled. I am going to give him money to shop with, a card and buy the tickets for our school dance. He is getting me the money Practical Magic(I love that movie), Fannie May Pixies, a card, and a giant stuffed animal.

I think we are going to celebrate by playing tourist and visiting Pikes Place Market in Seattle. Its a fun market with tons of stuff to look at, buy and to people watch of course. smile heart heart heart

This will also be my first Valentine's with a boyfriend, but I am reluctant to celebrate it. I don't like the way commercialism has swallowed it whole. We do nice things for each other anyway.
Why should we have to spend twice as much to go out for a meal on a specific day? I just don't like it. And it's not practical for us.
That makes me sound like a proper meanie, doesn't it? sweatdrop

I have to admit I'm one of the people who dislike Valentine's day (at least, the YOU MUST BUY LOTS OF THINGS BECAUSE THAT IS LOVE part) but hey, it'd be an excuse to do everything or nothing with my significant other.
Least, would be if she wasn't in Ireland. But we can pretend another day. xp
