I love Fallens In my opinion they are quite beautiful And endure so much But I just thought, 'How do other people view them?' So I decided to post this here Seeing as Why Not is large and people like to share their opinions Whether you think this is intelligent or not is up to you But personally I think something is considered an intelligent discussion if you can talk about Well now, on to my theory..
A fallen is obviously a fallen angel; An angel who fell from heaven and is cursed with black wings
I'm not sure how, but I got into this conversation with my cousins And after telling them what I believed They agreed
And I believe that to become a full fallen They have to fall twice Once from Heaven to earth Then from earth to Hell
And something that I thought of during the conversation with my cousins Why black wings?
It didn't take me to long to think of an answer And after thinking that through, thought it sounded about right
White is normally the color of innocence, of purity So is that why Angels have white wings? Because they are pure
And thinking that, I realized how wonderful it would be to have white wings Is that how Angels feel?
I think that maybe fallens are given black wings as punishment I mean, I love the color black But I don't think I would want black wings Especially if I just had beautiful white wings
Maybe the black is there as a reminder that they were once one of the purist beings?
I've also heard stories of fallens loosing their wings in their fall I think that this may happen because they just don't deserve wings at all
Now all this is my opinion And I posted all this because I want to know what everyone else thinks Or if they agree
My cousins agreed But I don't want to know their opinions I would like to know yours
If you don't agree Please don't be mean about it Just tell me what you think

I Know that according to the bible there are at least 6 thousand fallen angels. I agree with what you said that there is a good possibility that fallen angels have black wings because I know that heavenly angels have white wings(because they are pure).
As far as twice fallen I know there will be a huge heavenly battle between heavenly angles and the Devil(formerly "Shinning one") and his fallen angels. It will happen in the last days or end times(exactly when I don't know). The heavenly angels will be commanded by the Archangel Michael, and the fallen angels will be commanded by former Archangel Lucifer(the Shinning one. Now known as the devil).
This is all biblical. It would be the most awesome battle to see. Except for the spoiler. The bible tells us that the good guys will win(but we knew that anyway). Satan and his angels will be cast into hell(Sheol, the pit). It sounds really cool! Benjamin
edit: I think that fallen angels must be very beautiful in a sad dark way. Because sin is always beautiful.

I haven't ever read the bible.. Though I've thought about it, and I do truly want to I can't seem to do it
You see, I'm not atheist For I believe in God, But I don't worship him I have small doubts that I will go to Hell for that And that is why I am content to stay with what I believe now; With the thought that I will go to Heaven without worshiping God
But every time I pick up a bible It feels odd Like my mind wants desperately to read, but my heart tells me I won't like what I will find out
...And I just got completely off subject sweatdrop My mind tends to wonder a lot
I too would like to see that battle It sounds very interesting
And I like the last sentence you said ((The edit)) Thats how I think of fallens I just didn't know how to say it

I would encourage you to try reading. I promise you will be surprised at what you see. My recommendation is to start reading in the gospel according to St. John(just John in some bibles). You will really enjoy reading about the life of Jesus. Also if you want to you can look up some about fallen angels in a bible concordance (you can find one online). The bible has some interesting things to say about fallen angels. You can always ask me if you have any questions.

all of your opinions really do make sense, so i think that i agree. i have thought for a long time that the idea of fallen angels was a bit sketchy, though. i mean, i sort of doubt that beings of absolute, elemental, purity & goodness could turn 180 degrees and instantly become being of evil. how could an angel, with all that original goodness, ever get rid of all of it. so, if there ever is a battle between the forces of good and the forces of the fallen angels, and the good guys really are fated to win, then i think it will be because of the fact that absolute-good will be fighting against only mostly-evil. if there ever was a battle between pure good and pure evil, it would have to end in a tie. of course that idea is using my assumption that good and evil are both opposite and equal.

I suppose that an angel would turn so bad so fast by either accident or maybe at one point decided that Heaven wasn't for them If angels can come watch over us living, they maybe one did so and somehow helped one they loved in a bad way Though I don't think I truly believe that I'll have to think about it
And I agree with your theory about good and evil being equal Though I don't think it would turn out a tie One side may possibly know something the other does not And that something may be able to decide who wins

RayRai_Lover Eh.. That didn't answer the question And aren't aliens kinda supernatural beings? I wouldnt think so. something that is "super"natural is outside of nature.. which is what angels and all other mythological beings are (including gods). but aliens (provided they exist and I see no logical reason to suppose ours is the only planet with life in the whole vast universe) are just children of another planet, really no more outside of nature than we are. so yeah, my statement answered the question just fine, I think.

Yes, what you're saying seems to be quite probable. The black wings may be that they came from Hell, but I don't think they symbolize that they were once the purest beings.
I would think they're more to show that they can still be saved. As in they still have wings, but the black is what they have on their concience.
Of course, maybe that's something like what you said?

Calypsophia: I suppose that makes sense. I never thought about it that way.
KamikazeSkies: I think that after the first fall, they might still beable to be saved if they didn't lose their wings in the fall But then again, I've been re-thinking on this whole subject since I made this thread

I don't believe in angels. I don't do so with demons, Satan or even god. That doesn't make me totally agnostic, since I believe more in a form of spirits floating around the world.
I also think that's possible that there are aliens around us (in space of course) in space for two reasons:
1. Maybe the possibility for a planet is 1 to Trillions of times, but measured in the amount of planets in space the possibility of mankind being alone in this universe?
2. (That's one for the believers) Why should god leave us alone in this space?
