It's a warm day in February, Unusally warm. The sun was shining and Birds were flying about. Raziel got ready to go out in the cold, not even looking out before he left. "I hate winter" He stepped outside and walked around for a little bit, confused by the warm sunny day. "Did I sleep all winter or something?" He looked around for someone to ask what month it was, he saw someone in the distance and began to walk up to them.

Kirei-Chi was lazing about, glad that there was finally a break from the winter cold. She basked herself in the sun, hoping to soak up as much of it as she could before it got cold again. Over the pleasant sounds of birds singing songs, she thought she heard footsteps approaching. She opened her eyes to look around her, and spotted something pink heading her way. Blinking in surprise, she had thought she had been the only one out here. "Hello there!" She called out to the stranger.

Raziel contiuned to walk up to her still hoping to figure out what month it was. "Hello there, My name is Raziel and I'm a little confuse.........." As he was talking he had tripped over a medium sized rock. He got up and and looked behind him, a little embarressed from what had just happened. He wanted to be like his dad and be good at getting ladies, not scare them off. "Ummm, Yeeeah... That rock came out of nowhere" he said trying to remain 'Cool'.

Kirei-Chi couldn't help but laugh when she saw that this stranger, Raziel, fell. "I'm sorry for laughing," she said, now calming down, "you just looked so silly!" She flashed him a more sincere smile, and said, "Hi, I'm Kirei-Chi. What are you up to?" She stood up so she wouldn't seem rude.

Still a little Embarressed from the fall he answered Kirei-Chi. "I'm trying to figure out how long I slept, I fell asleep in February and it looks more like April now" He then realized how stupid he had just sounded "Ummmm...... Never mind. Nice weather we're having eh" He leaned up against the rock that he had previously tripped over in an attempt to seem more laid back.

She raised a quizzical eyebrow at the thought of it being April already. "Well, I guess the weather today is a little out of place. I'm glad it's warm though." She said, grinning. He seemed like an interesting character to her... very awkward, but it was kind of cute. She unconsciously smoothed down the fur on her paws with her small pink tongue.

Raziel pushed the fur on his head back with his paw and winked at Kirei-Chi. He whispered to himself "I still can't get this attracting females thing right." He looked up at her with a nervous smile. "I'm sorry I can't really talk to girls right"

Puzzled, she had no idea what he really meant... he seemed to be speaking just fine to her. "I think you're doing fine!" She said, giggling slightly. Thinking that it might be making them both feel more awkward just standing there doing nothing, she said, "Hey, do you want to go find something to eat? I'm pretty hungry."

"Really?" he said with a lot of excitment in his voice. He had a huge smile on his face when she said that. "Yeah, lets go find something to eat, last time I had something to eat was yesterday morning" He looked into her eyes and smiled at her through his eyes.

"Alright. Where would you like to go? We could head to the forest to hunt, or we could go by the lake to fish... unless of course you prefer vegetation." She smiled back at him shyly. Her heart fluttered a little bit when he looked into her eyes, but she wasn't quite sure why. She already knew that they would be close friends, despite his slight awkwardness.

Raziel had to think about where he wanted to get his food for awhile "Hmmm, lets go fishing that way if we get thirsty we'd be right next to the water" He got really close to her and almost kissed her when he pulled away. His heart began to beat fast when he had to hurry up and blurt something out "Lead the way"

When Raziel got close to her, her heart felt as if it might beat right out of her chest. "Okay, fishing it is." She said, trying to sound cool and collected. She started off towards the lake, heading west. "Come on." She said, looking back at him, smiling. Again she got a flutter in her stomach.

Raziel Follwed close behind Kirei-Chi trying not to get too far behind while he thinks to himself. "what is this feeling I have, I've never felt it before." He then looked up at her and said outloud "It's confusing me" He then realized that he had just said that out loud"

Kirei-Chi looked back at her new friend. "What's confusing you?" She asked, confused herself. "Well, we don't have much further to go. Can you make out the lake just ahead?"

Raziel didn't know what to say but the words just kept flying out of his mouth like he couldn't control it. "You're very pretty, and I think I like you" He realized that he had just told her how he felt so he ran and hid behind a tree, afraid that Kirei-Chi was going to laugh at him for saying that.
