Today I went to my Book of Mormon class as usual. There was a different teacher at the front of the room. "We have a sub today," I figured. He called on someone for the opening prayer, and I didn't recognize the guy, and everyone responded to the teacher as though he were the normal teacher. After the prayer I looked around the classroom and didn't recognize anyone. I was thought hard trying to figure out what was going on. Then I noticed "Section 85" on the top of the page of notes the next desk over. The notes were for Doctrine and Covenants.

I slipped out of the room and realized I'd somehow gone in the wrong door. The door I wanted was literally just a foot up the hall. I went in and sat in the back, and they were still trying to decide whether or not they wanted to sing an opening song, so I didn't miss a thing. Still, it was a really weird feeling not knowing what was going on and still being sure I was in the right class.

What are your "wait a minute" moments?

I once fell asleep on the spare bed my parents kept in the basement when I was home. When I woke up it was completely dark, no lights, no windows, nothing to get my bearings by. I couldn't figure out where I was and I kept running into the walls and tripping over furniture. I was still groggy so I didn't realize I was in the basement at all. Finally I found the stairs to the main level and saw the light, litereally and figuretively. That was the most disoriented I have ever felt. It's really strange when you really don't know where your going or where your at. You just keep moving around hoping that somehow you'll find a clue.

Lawlz. This semester in college I had all my classes on the same days and on the first day I had three classes. The first two were right after the other and so I thought the same for my third so I went to the class and walked in and everyone was already there and the teacher was teaching and I was like, "I was sure I signed up for a class that at least gave me time to get here!"

So I looked around for a seat and the only one open was in the front which the Professor pointed out to me. I sat down and looked around and she gave me a syllabus and continued teaching. I looked down at the syllabus, feeling a little out of place and it said, "Western Culture" instead of "Writing 102" and I was like.... "DDDDDDDDD: OMG! WRONG CLASS! WHAT NOW?!"

She was a strict Professor and had just mentioned how she hated it when people got up and left class when she was talking. Afraid of disturbing her, I just sat there for about twenty minutes. I was so embarrassed and yet no one knew anything about it so I was the only one. Making myself sick about it. xD Finally I grabbed my purse and left in the middle of class but didn't grab my backpack since it's so big and it would have made a bigger scene.

Went back in when the class was over and grabbed my backpack.

Seriously. Why was I so freaked out? Not like it was a sin or anything. xD I hate the feeling of being in the wrong place but not knowing why. Gaaaah.

I hate those type of moments. I was going to my world civ class and remember we were going to the library, so I went there. Some people in my class thought the same thing but nobody was there. So I went to check and no one was there. I go back to talk to the people we go back, and everyone in the class was just going to go to the library. The problem was that I went through the wrong hall. I felt so stupid lol

I was in my bed and in my pjs (which i didnt put on) so i got up and got in the shower and got redy for seminary and grbbed my backpack and went looking for my family to leave. i walked out to the living room and found my family watching tv. a little confused i said "why arnt you guys ready to go to seminary?" my mom laughed and said "it is six in the evening not six in the morning!"

I read once about a practical joke that parent's played on their kids like that. They rest all the alarms and got their kids up at like 4 in the morning pretending it was later and they were all late for school or something. It sounded kind of cruel to me.

I've done that before. ...More than once... eek

I remember one time I fell asleep on my dad's bed watching TV in his room around 3 PM. He woke me up and said "Time to eat," and I asked what we were having. He told me what it was (I don't remember what it was), and I said "For breakfast?" And then he told me it was 7 PM not 7 AM.

And the other time I woke up freaking out that I was late for school and then my mom said that it was 7 PM.

Hahahahahahaha! I did something almost exactly the same a few weeks ago. I walked into class, sat down, didn't recognize the teacher and then realized it was a class I had taken last semester (oddly enough, it was book of mormon). I had to sneak out of class and find my Doctrine and Covenants class

i get disoriented only after something has shaken me up a bit. such as the other night i was walking with my friends and we saw a dog get hit. pretty bloody... but when i got back i couldn't remember short term, people had to keep repeating themselves and when i woke up i didn't know where i was (i was sleeping over). but it was a weird feeling, not being able to remember.

my wait a minute moment is weird, but kinda funny... me and my friend built a model volcano as a project and we had to make it erupt with baking soda and vinegar. Well the day or two b4 we had to erupt it, her little brother put a little army dude inside the bottle in the volcano. So we thought he would pop out when we erupted it, but he didn't O.o so we threw it away XD lol well that's my pointless story! not rly funny, but o well

I'm a college student, and neither I, nor my roommates, have a car. I needed some supplies to do a project for one of my class finals, so I decided that the place to go would be WalMart, a 40-minute walk. When I get there, however, I realize that I can get the magazines I need free from a friend, I can get envelopes and milk at the student center, and I don't actually need anything else on my list that can't be found closer to home, where carrying it back to my apartment won't be a hassle. So I grabbed some snacks for the walk home and got everything I needed at a closer, more convenient location.

My Wait A Minute moment, well, the first one that comes to mind, happened in ninth grade second semester. At the junior high I went to, it has a seven period schedule, where all the classes are in one day. Lol, that's not really important, though... And, by the way, for future reference, at my junior high, there was like a different area for each main subject, and the areas were called "pods." Each pod was like a big circle with classrooms on the edges.

But anyways, so I think it was fourth period, which for me, was English. I got to class early as always and decided to go get a drink cause the drinking fountain was just down the hall and to the left. So I walk down to get a drink and the next thing I know... I was standing in front of the wrong classroom! It was the classroom where I had English the two years before, but I didn't have English there that year. I had no IDEA how I got there, I didn't remember walking back after I got a drink! And I still don't know how I got back into the English pod, I guess it's one more great mystery I'll have to ask about when I get to heaven.
