Neoni'liga yawned widely and folded her paws as she gazed out over the sea. It had been such a hot day today, so she had spent most of it jumping in and out of the water. Needless to say, she was quite tired now. Despite that though, her body ached for one more refreshing dip in the sea. It wasn't long before her mind agreed.
Smiling, she got to her feet and waded out into the water. She wouldn't go too far out, just far enough so that her whole body would be submerged. After taking only a few steps, she decided she would just take the lazy option and flopped down into the wet sand. "Ahhh." She cooed as the water waved over her body.

Tamu'dhihaka loved the sea. True, it was not his domain in the strictest sense, but it was still very much water, just as rain or a river. His domain was a broad one, and he would have it no other way. Water was everywhere, unlike the ocean; the ocean had borders.
He swam in the shallows of the salty waters, able to breathe even while beneath the surface. He chased minnows and tangled himself in seaweed to his delight, until at last he swam in to the shore, remaining underwater until his paws touched sand and he could walk up and out of the sea.

Neoni'liga was too relaxed to even notice the water stir as something moved underneath the surface. It wasn't until a blue head popped up close by that she suddenly became aware of another's presence. "Oh hi there!" She called out to the male, her crimson eyes attempting to recognise him, just incase he was a fellow member of the Bahari'mtoto. He was still a little too far away for her to get a good look at him though, so she waited for him to wade in closer.

Tamu'dhi's long, horselike mane was plastered against his neck and horns, while water sluiced from the membranes of his wings. When he stretched them out, as he did now, there was little mistaking him for an ordinary lion, even at a distance. Blue eyes fell upon the bright lioness who greeted him, and he smiled favorably as he stepped from the water and onto the sand. Even his tail was not like a proper lion's - it had no true tuft on the end, and was instead furred in longer hair all the way down.
"Hello," he purred. The god was small, no larger than an ordinary adolescent.

As the male got closer, Neoni'liga's eyes widened considerably as her smile was replaced by a look of sheer shock. Were those horns coming out of his head?! And wings coming out of his back?! She blinked a number of times, yet the strange additions to the blue lion's body remained, and it took a while for her to even register what the reason must be. This male must be a God.
Excited, she jumped to her feet and went to meet the God half-way. It surprised her that she was actually bigger than him, though she was quite sure that he would most likely be older. "Oh wow." She murmered under her breath, unsure what to say to him. Perhaps introductions would be a start. "Um...my name is Neoni'liga! Pleased to meet you!"

Tamu'dhi just loved it when mortals reacted to him like that! The shock, the excitement, the awe - how much better did it get? Well, alright, adoration was about as good as it got, but he'd take awe just as readily. He was a god, after all, and quite impressive for it!
"Tamu'dhihaka," he replied, still with that purr in his voice, confidence with a hint of arrogance. "Water. Hello, Neoni'liga."

Tamu'dhihaka, the God of Water. Wow. Neoni'liga could hardly believe her ears. Not only was this lion a God, he was the God of Water. Water was everywhere, and every living thing needed it to live. This God was basically the savior of the world!
"That's a really great name!" She replied with a somewhat nervous laugh. It wasn't that she was scared of the God, she was just worried that she wouldn't seem worthy and he would just leave. The last thing she wanted to do was put the God off with her excited ramblings.

"Why thank you, Neoni'liga," Tamu'dhi purred, fluffy tail swaying with contentment. He just loved to have company! Especially when they liked him - pretty didn't hurt, either. "So you like the sea, do you?"

(( o-o Sorry for the wait Meep! ))
Neoni'liga almost breathed a sigh of relief at having not driven the God away already. "Oh yes, I love the sea!" She replied with a huge smile. "I've lived by the sea my whole life, and I'm sure I'll never leave it. In-landers don't know what they're missing!"
After saying that, she motioned to the necklace that was tied around her neck. "Shells are one of my favourite things about the sea. Each one is completely unique and beautiful, so much more so than say rocks that you would find in-land."

"So true! There is nothing quite like the ocean - water that seems to go on forever." Of couse, there were also rivers, and lakes, and every other body of water, and he loved them all dearly.
"Some rocks are quite beautiful, too," he chuckled, "But you're right; by and large, shells have much more interesting variety."

'Seems' to go on forever? Neoni'liga had always assumed (albeit naively) that the sea did go on forever. Of course, there was no way of proving this that she could think of, and so the God will have undoubtedly been right. "Where does the sea end then?" She tilted her head slightly, curious to hear the answer.
At Tamu's comment in regards to rocks, Neoni'liga grinned sheepishly. She hope that she hadn't offended him by saying that rocks weren't all that great.

"Well, I'm not sure you can properly say it ends," he amended, staring out at the waters in question, "But it's not just sea forever out there. There's more land, too! Lots more land - all you have to do is go far enough."
"Not that it's a good idea for mortals." Tamu'dhi grinned as he slipped that in, hoping to dissuade any attempts at swimming across the ocean. "It's much, much too far for you to swim."

Neoni'liga giggled a little. "Even if it was close enough for me to swim to, I wouldn't bother. I'm very happy here within the Bahari'mtoto, and I see no reason to ever leave it." She grinned. "Even if I'm the one missing out on something." Having said that though, she let out an airy sigh. "I have to admit though, it must be nice to be able to explore the sea without ever worrying about running out of air or getting lost. You must be so happy."

"Beside the sea is not a bad place to be, not at all," Tamu'dhi said with an approving nod. "You have a good home here."
"I am," he confirmed, purring. "I cannot imagine a better life than mine."

"I think it's probably the best place to be." She replied with an approving nod of her own. "I'm sure I'll spend the rest of my life here, beside the sea, with this wonderful Pride." Saying that, her gaze turned towards the den area. The King of the Bahari'mtoto had come to mind. Turning back to the God, she tilted her head a little. "Have you ever met Tambuzi, the ruler of the Bahari'mtoto? If you haven't, I'm sure he would be completely thrilled to meet you!"
