Finally I get to put one of these up!!! biggrin
*ahem* I thought this was a great episode -- seeing the boys (and this time we got all the boys, didn't we!?) as kids was fun. Too bad they didn't find some way to work April in there, huh!
It reminded me of two things: 1) all those episodes of the Jackie Chan Adventures episodes where they get turned into kids, or when Jade went back in time and saw Jackie when he was her age . . . and 2) the Archie Turtles' comic where they were trying to play each other during tests, so that they'd all get the rewards of a good grade. He figured out their little scheme rather quickly that time, too.

I had my suspicions that kid was Casey from the beginning. His first closeup, I thought to myself, "He looks like Casey..." then he started talking more, and I realized he talked like Casey too. By the time the Flashback ended, I was sure it WAS our favorite moron. wink
I really liked this episode, but it kinda made me confused. It seemed to melike the Turtles had never been topside before in "Things Change", but here they were as youngin's, going topside.
It doesn't matter, though. This was a very enjoyable episode, and quite a different one. I'm glad they didn't use the "flashback effect" like they did with "Tales of Leo"

GohanWinner I really liked this episode, but it kinda made me confused. It seemed to melike the Turtles had never been topside before in "Things Change", but here they were as youngin's, going topside. I kinda felt the same way . . but I figured that they must have been a little younger in this episode than in some of the flashbacks we saw in "Tales of Leo". It just seems to fit that, eventually, Splinter would think that they needed at least a little top-side time -- well supervised time, that is!

Is it just me, or did the mohawk kid (the leader of the goons) seem like Dragon Face?

The episode was good. I also thought from the beginning that the kid was Casey. The only thing I couldn't figure out is how someone with the skills of Splinter could not notice young Leo switch places with the dummy sitting next to young Raph.
Also, seeing the younger versions of the turtles like this made me think that these would be great unlockable alternate attires for 2005's Ninja Turtles game 3nodding

Yep, they've still got the same personalities as their adult versions! Interesting point about the Archie comic reference... there were a few great comics that showed the turtles growing up in that series. Also, #9 from the Mirage vol. 1 series shows them as toddlers. Overall, a great ep, one of much significance. 3nodding

The S Is it just me, or did the mohawk kid (the leader of the goons) seem like Dragon Face? I think that's one of the things that reminded me of the Jackie Chan cartoon, because that did, indeed, look like a young Dragon Face! (Apparently Casey has many reasons to hate the Purple Dragons so much when he's older . . even though torching his pop's store is quite enough in my book!) Just goes to show you that some people just go from being little creeps to being big creeps. Those jerks . . .The S And the fact that the dummy had 3 fingers and a thumb ^_^ I didn't notice that!! eek Yah! Now I've got an excuse to watch the episode again so's I can look more closely at it! 3nodding dburger I'm glad I got to see this great episode. Overall, a great ep, one of much significance. 3nodding I always loved the 'little' Turtles in the Archies issues that they did every now and again . . . the one I make reference to is actually the one titled (if memory serves me right . . . sweatdrop ) "How the Turtles got their Colors". It was cute how they tried to snooker Splinter . . but it hurt to see how easily he saw through their little scheme, and let Mikey take the fall for it! stressed Raph may be my favorite . . but Mikey is so sweet that when people do rotten things to him then it enrages me even more than seeing them do stuff to Raph. Raph goes out looking for trouble, but Mikey looks out for fun! He shouldn't be tortured and he shouldn't get beaten up! stressed (Except when he keeps mentioning the Battle Nexus Tournament, and the fact that he won, over and over and over . . that's just askin' for trouble, so it's different! 3nodding )
