Yup, for two days. gonk
No idea what happened. I think Jagex was monitoring my private chat. My brother recently got back into RS, and we were talking. He was trying to do the *Insert Pen0r into private chat here* thing. I showed him how, and I get muted for it. He says he didn't report me, and I believe him.
So, yeah. I'll still be in Clan Chat, but Im keeping my private chat off. My 99 Attack party will be after the two days of being muted.

This is an outrage. It's one thing to watch public chat, and even clan

sweatdrop Serious to mute... The thing about mute is a P-mod can do it to anyone. Also he can report you even if you did nothing, and still mute you, even if you just logged on, and he wants to be an a**. And it mutes you right at the spot for 48 hrs.
Report screen for P-mod.
And there is really no way for them to see what goes on in private chat. Only when a person reports it gives them the chat from both the reporter and person being reported all chat text from clan, private and public.
It could also be bad timing that a random person reported you at the same time that was happening.

What a report does is just does a text shot of info 60 sec back from the person that did the report and the person he reported. Not the people you talking to or around you. A person could be saying something in busy trade world while stuff is going on, and the report of the person looks like this.
Rule Abuser: Hi
Rule Abuser: I'm a J-mod, give me your money or i ban you.
Rule Abuser: Ya I really am
Rule Abuser: No, you have reported for buy the gold with real money, and we need the gold you have to see the coding if it been sold.
Rule Abuser: you got 10 sec to do it or ban
Rule Abuser: Stop asking question and do it or ban
Reporter: /dude i found this guy trying to scam people, I'm so reporting him.
Rule Abuser opens trade with Badname3873218
Rule Abuser trades nothing for 29938482mill gold.
Reporter sends a Abuse Report.
See how that works, it had no talking of the person being scamed, just the rule abuser and reporter.

The W's didn't connect because of the text font. Pretty much, my brother was trying to make a pen0r in my private chat, and I showed him how to do it. How I got muted, I do not know. I also don't think I was wrongfully muted either, because as you can see, I clearly broke rule #1.
But I will go through this punishment, because I have learned that making text pen0rs = BAD
Ok, it's 2 ******** o'clock in the morning, and I gotta get in bed. Won't be talking to you tomorrow. rofl.
