Free. Free from the children she was plagued with. If only for an hour, now that they were older she had time to herself. Hamaki loved her children more than life itself, but like any single mother, needed a break every once in a while.

With said break, the dark wild dog was lounging near a pool of water. She watched her reflection, staring at the scar that plagued her eye. She was sent back in memory to the day she got it; and a rage filled her so that she had to shut her eyes tight, taking long deep breaths, and filling her mind with good thoughts. It was a strategy that usually worked, especially when she thought of her children. But not today. Her rage seemed to consume her, and her chest heaved in and out quickly as she continued to try and calm down.

Ajabu had no obligations. Nothing. His life was full of harlequin moves. A court Jester to himself. And source of insane laughter over nothing. Leaving his family. Disowning them. Was not the smartest move. It left him, more or less, empty. All of the time alone left him little social skills. His silver tongue only got him so far. And His growing hatred for anything that couldn't make him laugh grew as he found less and less conversation.

The Bitter dog Stopped. Dark Lump of fur. Female. He huffed. Was it better to get in a confrontation with another? Now of all times? When he was thinking so much of his family? Probably not. The thought of potentially getting beat up by a GIRL of all things was not in his best interest. Ajabu waited a moment, composing himself, Before prancing up to the unknown female. His Silver tongue waiting to lash out and spin sweet words into her ear. Then leaving after his amusement was stretched thin.

Hamaki's large ears swiveled on her skull as she heard the footsteps of another approaching. She sniffed the air before turning her two toned eyes toward him. A male. She really disliked males. Her strategy of calming herself down still hadn't worked, and she instinctively raised her tail, her head leaning down and the scruff of her neck prickling up.

She didn't say anything; she didn't trust herself to speak just yet. She was small, but she was tone and strong. She didn't fear getting in a fight, she used to welcome it before she had her pups. Now she knew she needed to stick around for a while, and couldn't compromise her existance for a thrill.

She stood and waited, trying not to growl at the stranger.

He stopped, It was best to let her come to him. With all of her pent up anger meshing with everything he had was not for the best.

Ajabu Flopped down onto his side, never taking his eyes off of her. She was attractive underneath the scars, if anything that could keep him around for a short amount of time. If she could speak well, that would add time. If she could fight he would run. His tough attitude over everything was nothing when it came to fighting. The only thing close to that was meeting with his brother and trying to rip in throat open.

He grinned at her in a small attempt to captivate positive attention, though it was obvious that it would be difficult.
"Hello, lovely lady." He smirked up at her, batting his green eyes.

Hamaki watched him, glaring and restraining herself from just attacking him. When he spoke she rolled her eyes in exasperation. She hated males, and especially cocky males.

"Hello." She said with no emotion, then turned and drank from the pool of water, ignoring him completely. Her eyes glanced over to him though, she wanted to pretend he wasn't there, but she wasn't stupid enough to not keep an eye on him, in case he tried anything.

Ouch. Blow to the ego! Why couldn't she be easily calmed and sweet like other females? This one was so different. Why? He had only been there a few moments, yet she already hated him more than when he showed up. A new challenge wasn't what he wanted.

"Pretty girls shouldn't be brats." He huffed, ruder than he meant it to come out. He sighed. Maybe this just wasn't worth the effort.

Hamaki glared daggers at him, a small growl escaping her lips. "And morons should learn to hold their tongues." She snapped back, scruff on her neck rising. She was a fighter through and through and she would gladly take on this arrogant male. She was small but strong and quick and she had bested others before.

HA. The spoiled brat wanted to fight now? Why couldn't she just prance away to 'happy puppy' land and take a nap. Lack of sleep usually triggered him into a fighting mode, but this was just intense.

He growled back, warningly. "Moron?" he scoffed and rose to his feet. The little THING was just eating away at his patience. He was no moron, end of story. "Do you really want to risk hurting your petite figure?"

Hamaki bent her head down and her ears back, glaring at him once more. The growl rose in pitch, audible now and angry. Petite figure? She scoffed at him, nails digging in the ground to steady herself. She wanted to badly to rip apart his throat.

"I may be small but I could still rip you to shreds." She said with a snarl, still holding herself back. She really wasn't in the mood for fighting, but this pompous male had riled her up and she would fight him if it came to it.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 10, 2008 6:59 am

Oh, Please. Would she still not give it up? He was at an advantage, being larger and all. So why wouldn't she quit? Would she honestly risk getting hurt because he called her a 'brat'? Ajabu rolled his eyes, this female was a true-blue nut case.

"Really? Think you could?" Ajabu was just taunting her now, waiting for her to make a move. It was much easier to piss everything off than to try and make it like him. It wasn't worth the time or energy, to be very honest.

"Yes I think I could, you pompous pig." She snarled, glaring again. If looks could kill, the skin would be melted off his face.

"The question is: do you really want to get beaten up by a girl?" She asked with a smirk, just trying to taunt him now. She loved these exchanges of insults, it was the perfect lead into a nice battle. She was tired and she knew she couldn't defeat him, but backing down was not in Hamaki's blood.
PostPosted: Tue Jun 10, 2008 7:16 am

Ajabu just stopped, stared. Where was she getting all of these insults from? Was she a just a bag of tricks, pulling out anything that bothered him? It felt like it.

"Like I would let you, you...." An insult. Where was an insult? He searched for anything, a small place to hold onto, even the smallest of insults would have been fascinating. ...Nothing. He had nothing. Not good.

Hamaki smirked, satisfied with herself. She chuckled softly. "Won't fight a girl and now you can't even come up with a come back. You're not even worth my time." She said, snorting. She wanted to turn and walk away for emphasis, but she was wiser than that and knew to never turn your back on an angry dog.

"Then turn around and WALK." He grunted, not wanting to look at something he though so pretty. Her personality was sour, rancid, disgusting. This female was notably worse than her was, and he was shocked and amazed at it.

"If you want to go, go. I won't follow you. I'd probably get mangy."

Hamaki chuckled at the weak insult, then took his advice and turned. She was aware of him still though, she could never be too careful. He could easily hurt her from behind and as she walked away she was tense and ready for anything.

When no attack came she kept walking, glad to be rid of the male. She had avoided a fight but won the battle, and she was very pleased with herself.
