So what, are the Bush and Clinton families just going to decide what happens in this country from now on?
At least with a genuine monarchy ala Plantagenets, Tudors, and Marie Antoinette there's a good history of rebelling against the monarch when you dislike them and theirs.
Here the closest thing we have is, "if at first you don't secede, try, try again."

If it were up to me I'd have the president COMPETITION be a sword fight on top of the empire state building between Guilani and Clinton (not because I support either one, please).
Loser goes to hell.
And if the president's approval ratings drop below a certain percentage we cry, "Off with their head!" and follow through. It'd keep all but the insane and sturdy from competing.

You have to give the man credit for some of his policies and for the fact that he's still in the campaign despite the fact he's really obviously going to lose.
