This is still under construction, eventually characters will be catalogued by page# and post# to make finding a bio easier. Until then, I'm sorry for the clutter. At least there's only a few so far.

The Koganei family was known for it's shop in the Tea Country. It was a game and puzzle shop of great reknown. They were requested just over five years ago to deliver a large shipment of games to a particularly eccentric Daimyo within the nation of Fire. While they were on the road they were attacked by bandits believing the shipment to be something more valuable like gold or silver. Kaoru's parents were killed and young Kaoru was spared only because he had hidden inside a compartment of the carriage. He was there, hidden near the bodies of his parents for three days before a group of Anbu passed while on a mission. The leader of this group, a Jounin named Hanabishi Kurei found Kaoru and brought him to their home where he was adopted by Hanabishi Resshin, their clan's leader.
When he demonstrated a particularly keen skill at puzzle solving and strategy, he became a favorite project of Kurei who spent hours training him in various arts. Though he lacked the ability to use techniques based on the Hanabishi no Honou that their family specialized in, Kaoru became a master of various weapon-based combat skills, preferring the Hanabishi family treasure; the Kougan Anki, a weapon with the ability to change into five seperate forms. While in the family's history, it had been masterred a number of times, most practitioners mastered each form individually and because of the long process of transforming the weapon into it's next form would select a form prior to combat that they felt was most appropriate. Kaoru, due to his keen aptitude for puzzles, was able to change forms of the weapon almost instantly making him able to master combinations of attacks that would switch the weapon from one form to another complimentary form during the assault. Kaoru likes to compare each of the Kougan Anki's forms to the Hokage it corresponds with, believing them to represent some facet of that Hokage's character.
He admired his sensei greatly, and in the wake of his alleged betrayal believes Kurei to be dead rather than living as a Mukenin. He believes that, if not for Kurei, he would have died or been worthless. Though typically cheery and proud, his nature hides a deep depression and fear of rejection that is constantly bubbling beneath the surface. His abrassive nature can have a tendancy to drive off others before they have a chance to get to know him, he's actually a very protective and friendly individual. His one close friend, Saicho, is one of only a few people that really understand him. It is because of Saicho's illness that Kaoru was assigned to a team by the acting head of the Hanabishi Clan, Hanabishi Recca.
He is currently assigned to a four man squad including Kirisawa Fuuko and Mikagami Tokiya under the Jounin master Hanabishi Kagero. He believes himself to be "held back" by his team and constantly boasts that he's the strongest one of the Hanabishi clan with the exception of Kurei. His loyalty to Kurei sometimes makes his companions nervous, wondering which side he would choose if Kurei sought to reclaim him...
With the exception of Fuuko, who he deems boyish, he's often confused by girls' nature to say one thing and do another. Yet, at the same time he prefers their company to those of most boys his age. He's especially fond of medical ninja, and is constantly saying how happy he is that their Hokage is a healer. His sense of fair play is his weakness. If he disarms an opponent he will allow them ample time to get their weapon before attacking them again. Also, it's safe to say he's incredibly weak without his weapons.
In addition to his Kougan Anki, he carries a scroll which can be used to summon additional arrows, a tanto dagger, and the usual pack of shuriken and explosive tags to compensate for his inability to practice many ninjutsu. If TenTen and Shikamaru had a child, he'd probably turn out something like Kaoru. Jutsu List:
Bushin no Jutsu- The regular one, not the one like Naruto does.
Henge no Jutsu- He can make himself look like other stuff... like every ninja in the history of ever.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Kougan Anki- The method demonstrated first by Ten Ten, then later by Izumo and Kotetsu and most recently by Sasuke to summon an inanimate object from elsewhere. Kaoru's is most similar to Sasuke's in that the seal through which he summons is a tattoo on his body, particularly over the scar on his wrist. Essentially, all this technique means is that he isn't required to walk around everywhere with the somewhat bulky Kougan Anki, while still having access to it if he gets in danger.
Kougan Anki: Shokata Kiba - First Stance - Kiba, a halbred. Kougan Anki: Nikata Ryu - Second Stance - Ryu, a kusari-gama. Kougan Anki: Sankata Kyoku - Third Stance - Kyoku, a giant scissors. Kougan Anki: Yonkata Mikazuki - Fourth Stance - Mikazuki, a bladed boomerang. Kougan Anki: Goukata An - Fifth Stance - An, a bow and arrow.
Fuuton: Kazenokiba no Jutsu- Wind Release Fang of Wind. A jutsu that takes different forms based on the stance his weapon is in. Essentially it's various ways of using wind to enhance the range of his weapon, either from the bladed or blunt end. Depending on which end the wind surrounds it may be a cut or a punch like attack. It's most dangerous form is in Mikazuki where it will form a slashing whirlwind around the weapon while in flight.
Fuuton: Shinkuuha no Jutsu- Wind Release Vaccuum Wave. From An. His arrow gathers wind at the tip creating a vaccuum around the arrow. The arrow is then released and propelled by the gathered wind. Because it travels in a vaccuum it travels much faster and will continue travelling until it impacts an object. There is an added lethality to the attack when it connects with an object, the vaccum disipates and pulls things tighter around the arrow to compensate for space. This can cause far greater damage to a body than a regular arrow strike.
Chakra Manipulation: Guiding Arrow- Like Kidomaru, Kaoru can attach a thread of Chakra to guide the arrow toward a target. Though this requires a keen aim, and he can not do this in conjunction with his Shinkuuha no Jutsu.
Ninpou: Kougan Anki: Mukata Mu - Special Kougan Anki technique, Sixth Form Mu. This attack first requires Kaoru to break his precious Kougan Anki. With it's parts all seperated, he can then reassemble it using his Chakra. Often assembling it around, or through, an opponent to bind or kill them. Though, Kaoru lacks any intimate knowledge of anatomy to make this a guaranteed kill strike under even the deadliest of circumstances.
Kinjutsu: Ninpou: Tenkuu no Yoroiden- A kinjutsu taught to Kaoru by Kurei. This technique allows Kaoru to create an armor out of Wind Chakra around his body. A chakra vaccuum around the armor can defend him against all but the strongest physical attacks, and can stand up to most jutsu. The armor allows him to breathe in any conditions, underwater or even (theoretically) within a vaccuum. Because this ability uses Wind Chakra, a sufficient charge of Fire Chakra can overwhelm it's defense, and while he won't feel the pain or be caused damage by a physical impact, however, he is still bound by the laws of physics and momentum and can still be moved around by an enemy's attack (He doesn't become the Juggernaut, if Gai kicks him, he still goes flying). The Jutsu was forbidden because of the overwhelming stress it can put on a ninja's chakra flow, causing severe damage if the armor is maintained for too long. Name (& Meaning): Hanabishi Kurei Age: 21 Country & Affiliation: Konoha - Mukenin Rank: Jounin / Ex-Anbu Chakra Alignment: Fire Special Jutsu Ability: Elite skill in the Hanabishi no Honou, a series of jutsu his Clan created over generations. Physical Description/Picture:
 He no longer wears his Konoha forehead protector. Background: Since the time of the founding of Konoha, there has been one family so close to the Hokage that they earned the title Ura Hokage to select circles. From the first, they had one duty that they held sacred. Their task was to protect the Hokage, their oath was one that no Hokage would die without a Hanabishi lying dead at their side. By no means, necessarily greater skill than the Hokage, they simply took to a life of devotion to the most important figure in Konoha. Only one had ever failed at his duty of dying before the Hokage, Hanabishi Resshin, Kurei's father. Shamed, Kurei's father commited Sepukku before even the funeral of the Third Hokage he had failed to serve.
This family developped arts specializing in Fire Jutsu and taking it into realms that no other shinobi had gone with the art of fire manipulation. Generations of honed techniques are taught to each Hanabishi born, naming each technique after the Hanabishi ninja that had masterred it first. Kurei was a prodigy of the family. Taking to techniques earlier than many would expect. When people would compare him to Hatake Kakashi he reacted with disinterest at best. It was clear and somewhat troubling to his family that Kurei had no interest in his own betterment, since relatively nothing challenged him he saw little need to apply himself in any particular area. Having lost his mother to Orochimaru's experiments when he was still a young boy, he was emotionally detached and possibly disturbed. He was known for a "what's so great about that" attitude towards the accomplishments of others. Then he made the mistake of falling in love...
A lovely young orphan girl by the name of Kurenai (not that Kurenai) who ran a scroll and medicine shop in Konoha. She was the neice of the Medic Nin that raised Yakushi Kabuto. Kurei became reinvented in her presence, much to the delight of his close friends Raiha and Neon. Where once he was cold and distant, around her he was personal and often borderred on cheerful. His open heart spread beyond just his romantic relationship, he began training a deciple and had petitioned to be given a three man genin squad of his own when he was just seventeen years of age. Unfortunately, it was not to last. After the invasion of Suna and Oto, when it was revealed that Yakushi Kabuto had been a spy, an investigation was done on the family that he had lived with. Yakushi Kurenai was also found guilty of supplying Orochimaru with sensetive information and medical supplies for his experiments.
Convinced of her innocence, Kurei protested which resulted in an Anbu squad being dispatched to kill her. Successful in their mission, they also suffered heavy casualties at the hands of Hanabishi Kurei who sealed his fate as a wanted man in Konoha by killing the entire Anbu squad. Given his family's relationship to the Hokage, it was at first forgiven as a crime of passion and he was sent away to serve a sentance in a Fire Country prison. But during his short time incarcerated he became obsessed with Orochimaru, blaming him for taking away everything important to him. He escaped from the prison and with the help of Raiha and Neon, his two most loyal of friends, he began engaging in Kinjutsu research of his own, attempting to find a way of punishing Orochimaru that Kurei would be satisfied with. He believed even death was too merciful, and he would often lose himself to fantasies of Orochimaru writhing in agony and torment.
Eventually, he was rediscovered by his countrymen, who were shocked to learn of his research into Kinjutsu. A crime of passion could be forgiven, but developping jutsu for the sole purpose of torture was a crime that couldn't be overlooked. He fled once again, this time with Raiha and Neon in tow and has been on the run ever since as an S-Rank Mukenin. While his fire techniques are incredibly impressive, Kurei lacks a diversity that would could prove necessary in some situations, particularly potent is his weakness to Water-Jutsu that requires him to exert far greater amounts of Chakra against a water-based enemy. Jutsu List: Kurei specializes in Fire Jutsu, particularly the arts of the Hanabishi no Honou. Some practicers are known to demonstrate an ability to combine differing Karyu techniques, Kurei prefers instead to refine a Karyu to it's maximum potential and use them individually.
Katon: Hinobushin no Jutsu- Similar to Kage Bushin, but making clones made out of solid fire as opposed to solid chakra. They lack the ability to think independantly beyond reaction, but rather than just disperse when impacted, they ignite.
Katon: Karyu Nadare no Jutsu- Also known as "Dan En", this ability is a projectile of incredibly hot balls of fire. The user forms the fireballs, which can then wait in the air until ready to be released, at which point they will fly toward their designated target. Some Hanabishi have been known to favor an exploding ball of flame, Kurei lets his flame take the form of darts or knives before throwing them.
Katon: Karyu Saiha no Jutsu- Also known as "En Jin". The user makes a blade of fire that can differ based on the user. Kurei forms a long nodachi style blade with his En Jin.
Katon: Karyu Homura no Jutsu- Also known as "Ben En". The user makes a coil of flame which can extend as a whip of fire from the hand or fingertip of the user, by coiling the flame around the hand or forearm, the Ben En can also be released in conjunction with a punch or strike, amplifying the strike's strenght slightly and giving it a flame element.
Katon: Karyu Setsuna no Jutsu- Also known as "Shun En". The user forms an Eye overhead which is composed of flame. The flame searches for body heat and ignites the chakra of everyone around but the user. This technique has obvious drawbacks. It makes no difference betwen friend or foe. While it is especially effective against Wind-aligned ninja, it's power is dulled to fire-ninja and next to useless against water-aligned chakra.
Katon: Karyu Madoka no Jutsu- Also known as "Kekkai En". The user makes points of flame which then join to create a solid barrier of heat and light. While this technique is near impenetrable to most jutsu and physical attacks, it does have two very key weaknesses. The barrier is two ways, meaning the user can't attack from behind it any more than they can be attacked. Also, the barrier is useless against water jutsu.
Katon: Karyu Rui no Jutsu- Also known as "Gen En". This is the Hanabishi style signature genjutsu, illusions accompanied by smoke and heat-haze which attempt to lure an opponent into a body of flame or into another attack.
Katon: Karyu Kokuu no Jutsu- A purely offensive technique, also known as "Hadou En". This jutsu requires the longest set of hand-seals of any Hanabishi style Jutsu, as well as the most potent focus of chakra. But the results are a beam of potent fire in the form of an animal reflective of the user. In Kurei's case a phoenix.
Katon: Karyu Yanagi no Jutsu- A medical fire technique that allows transferance of one person's chakra into another at a quick, and occasionally dangerous, rate. The user heals their target by damaging themselves.
Katon: Karyu Ouka no Jutsu- The technique that made Kurei the family legend he was when he masterred it. This is the most difficult form of the Hanabishi style to master, as it requires intimate seal knowledge and quick reflexes. The user releases a flame which eats any chakra attack sent at the user and copies that one attack to throw it back at the opponent. While this requires greater timing and more chakra expension than the ability of Hatake Kakashi to do the same, Kurei took the technique to another level, allowing the flame to copy the ninja who used the technique as opposed to just the technique. The copy is a body made of solid fire, and regardless of the original elemental alignment of the opponent the alignment of the clone becomes "fire".
Katon: Ouka Kai no Jutsu- The "release" of Ouka. Kurei manifests memories of previous opponents or allies with his Ouka no Jutsu. He has two flame-copies he prefers to recall, his dead friend Jisho and his dead lover Kurenai, because of his intimate knowledge of Jisho's abilities and his emotional attachment to Kurenai. Name (& Meaning): Hibiki Ryouga Age: 16 Country & Affiliation: Konoha - Saotome Dojo Rank: Genin Chakra Alignment: Earth Special Jutsu Ability: Pig "Element". Closer in regards to a totem. Physical Description/Picture:
 Replace his classic headband with a yellow Konoha headband. Background: If you were to ask Ryouga, he would tell you that his is amongst the most tragic of tales in Konoha. His family is cursed with a sense of direction so bad it borders on a Kekkai Genkai gone wrong. Without a team to follow, Ryouga has trouble finding his own house, let alone the complicated course he would need to follow for more difficult missions. His stroke of luck came when he was selected to study in the Saotome School of Totemic Ninjutsu. A school of ninjutsu based around the same animals that are used in the hand-seals of Ninjutsu, as well as several "hidden arts" within the style. He would tell you that this, too, was bad luck. Tarou was selected to learn the Ox. Mu Tsu was selected to learn the bird. Xian Pu was selected to learn of the Tiger. Ranma, the Dojo's favorite son, was gifted in the way of the dragon. Ryouga... was to learn the way of the pig.
Throughout his training, no matter how good he did, he was constnatly one-upped by Saotome Ranma. This lead to the development of a bitter rivalry between the two of them, one that Ryoga took far more seriously than Ranma ever has. He took his training well, and excelled in the way of the pig as much as he loathed it, though his distaste for the I-Henshin No Jutsu has left him with an underdevelopped technique.
When he finally graduated the Ninja Academy, he was assigned a group with Mu Tsu and Saotome Ranma, under the guidance of Tendou Soun. When working as a group they are a fairly effective team, able to compensate for one another quite nicely. However, when alone, they are a fairly useless group of Shinobi. Regardless of their age, they've been unable to complete the Chuunin exam, despite having signed up for every exam since they were able. This is because Mu Tsu will invariably read the announcement wrong, and Ryouga will consistantly show up at the wrong location. This is a humiliation that drives them even further because of rival Tendou Akane's team all having been promoted to Chuunin. This isn't to say that Ryoga's team is any less capable, just that extinuating circumstances have prevented their promotion while their rivals have climbed up a step.
Ryoga is particularly skilled at Taijutsu (probably not close to the level of Lee) and uses his Ninjutsu only as a suppliment to these abilities. His weakness lies in his frustration with the world around him, and his lack of practice in certain (in his eyes embarassing) aspects of his art. Because of his unfamiliarity with his I-Henshin no Jutsu, he's succeptable to being force-henshined by other practicers of the art, turning him into a pig no more harmless than Ton Ton. Though many of the Henshin of his school are offensive or enhancing in nature, Ryouga uses his pig form, primarily for infiltration and scouting... though his inability to consistantly find his way back makes him a fairly ineffective scout sometimes. Jutsu List: Because Ryoga's style is based around the totem of the Pig, all of his techniques begin and end with the pig seal.
Iton Nunoken no Jutsu-Art of the Cloth Blade. Focusing his chakra into a piece of fabric allows Ryoga to make that fabric as hard as steel and sharp as a razor. To suppliment this ability he carries a large supply of fabric in his back-pack. He can also use this in conjunction with his umbrella to create a powerful shield. Being an Earth style jutsu, it is vulnerable to Thunder techniques. His favorite weapon is his belt, which he wields like a katana, or shuriken made of torn pieces of fabric.
Doton: Bakusaitenketsu - A powerful earth based technique. Placing his hand on the ground forms a seal similar to a kuchiyose, the seal disappears quickly, however and is rechanneled to another area which then explodes. Ryoga can effectively turn the battlefield itself into a weapon. Alternatively, Ryoga can simply detonate an object by touching it. Though without something as intuitive as the Byakugan, he is incapable of locating Tenketsu points on a human body. This is best described as an anti-earth style Earth jutsu, as it's most effective targets are stone and wood, though he can break things as heavy and dense as metal.
Iton I-Kage Shuriken no Jutsu- Forming several phantom pigs with his chakra, the pigs hide within them stone shuriken. The pigs can charge at an opponent, or in more humorous moods be flung or kicked like footballs. They are illusionary pigs, with no substance beyond the stone weapon they are used to hide. Alternatively, they can be used to hide the cloth shuriken formed with his Nunoken, or a regular or explosive shuriken.
Iton I-Henshin no Jutsu- ((Often called Jusenkyou no Jutsu as all students henshin may be)) A jutsu similar to a Kuchiyose no Jutsu, but rather than summon an animal, the user becomes that animal. I-Henshin lets Ryouga turn into a pig. While, in thoery, he could become a fearsome and massive razorback boar, his distaste for the style has left him with an alternate form something closer to a small piglet. Henshin no Jutsu is to Henge no Jutsu what Kage Bushin is to Bushin. They literally become the change, not just look like it.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu- Pigs- The Ability to summon pigs.
Shinton Shishihokoudan - From one of the hidden styles of the Saotome School, this attack is fueled by emotional chakra. The Shishihokoudan is based on Ryouga's depression, hopelessness, heartache, or fear. The greater the emotional influence to the attack, the more powerful it can become. Given Ryouga's moodiness, this potentially can be an S-Ranked jutsu. RP Challenge:

Name (& Meaning): Saotome Ranma Age: 16 Country & Affiliation: Leaf - Saotome School Rank: Genin Chakra Alignment: Lightning Special Jutsu Ability: Dragon "Element", Heart "Element". Based on her school of martial arts. Physical Description/Picture:
 Background:
Quickly overshadowing his father's laziness and underachievements, Ranma became the prodigy of the Saotome school. Quick thinking, adaptive combat tactics made him a star in his own school and earned him recognition by other shinobi throughout Konoha. He completed his Academy training early, and became a Genin at the age of 10; an impressive (but hardly remarkable or unique) accomplishment that was the gateway to his personal downfall.
Having mostly masterred the totem of his school, learning to use the Dragon Chakra, he was then trained in the way of the "Heart" element of their school. This training would allow him to imbue his chakra with emotional energy to create more powerful jutsu, or to simulate other elements. Though harder to master than other aspects of his school had been, he showed great promise, but also too much ambition. While experimenting with Jutsu unique to this aspect of his school, he performed a Henshin-no-Jutsu that he was unfamiliar with. The experiment resulted in his having transformed into a girl version of himself.
Unable to locate the rest of the scroll from which he pulled the technique that caused him to become her, medical ninja were consulted. No solution was able to be found. Even Tsunade seemed baffled (and amused) at the condition, but informed him that many scrolls in Konoha were missing key pieces which had been removed and stolen while Orochimaru was researching his Kinjutsu. Renewed with hope, she began to train in hopes of one day having a chance to find the hidden stockpiles of secret scrolls that had been taken by Orochimaru, while also trying to research his own style to try and come up with a counter Jutsu of his own.
Using a Henge Jutsu to compensate, she does spend most of her time looking like a boy, but as this is a simple Henge a distraction or impact of signifigant force can undo it, much to her frustration. She's primarily oblivious to those around her unless it pertains to her, making her come across as self-centerred and egotistical. She'll constantly brag that she's one of the best in Konoha, and being reminded of her current rank of Genin is particularly frustrating to her. Her teammates are the sole reason she has been unable to participate in the Chuunin exam, as one never reads the schedule properly, and the other always shows up at wrong place.
In combat, Ranma uses a graceful fighting style that focusses mostly on aerial combat and maneuvering, in a team this means he is complimented nicely by the ground based actions of Ryouga and the long range tactics of Mu Tsu. Most of his attacks are primarily counter-attack in nature, requiring an opponent to come into a proper range or for him to get into a proper range. He has very few distance attacks, and best works as a hit-and-run fighter if he can not make his opponent come to him. The ability to summon Pandas has also been valuable, though the lazy panda he is usually able to summon serves mostly as a couch or transportation. With his chakra being aligned differently, he has lost his ability to Henshin into a dragon.
Socially, she's quite akward in most senses. Having only been a girl for a very short portion of her life, she's prone to actions that can at best be described as "unlady like" and at worst be described as outright lude. She's a little unnerved when she catches boys admiring her, and upset when girls react similarly to her checking out them. Jutsu List: Henge no Jutsu- Used primarily to make her look like a boy.
Jusenkyou no Jutsu- Ranma's chakra was signifigantly realigned from the failed technique that resulted in his sex-change. Once as a he, he could henshin into a powerful dragon-form, but since his chakra was altered it takes considerable more focus to manifest any signifigant change. Her "dragon form" is simply the manifestation of horns, golden eyes and a tail but includes a large boost of strength and stamina at the expense of chakra. Because, however, her chakra is now closer to the cat-style she often simply manifests cat-ears and a tail to a similar, but lesser effect.
Kinjutsu: Jusenkyou Shuanshontsuniichuan No Jutsu-A jutsu that requires intimate knowledge and control of Yin-Yang chakra. The user creates another physical self. A "Twin". While in essence, very similar to Kage Bushin, except that chakra isn't shared but duplicated. As soon as one body runs out of chakra, that body discipates and the memory and spirit of it return to the performer of the jutsu. This jutsu was forbidden for a number of obvious reasons, but most notably the psychological and physical strain that one can endure if the jutsu depended on for two long. In Ranma's case there is an additional difficulty, because his yin-yang chakra is not properly alligned... one Twin is male and one twin is female, however, the male body (the body on which Ranma's Henge form is based) also takes on most of Ranma's negative emotions... so the technique is essentially releasing a violent version of herself.
Taijutsu- Katchu Tenshin Amagureken- A technique by which Ranma punches his hands so fast that he can seemingly hit multiple locations at once, or impact the same spot multiple times to decieve an opponent into believing he has much greater strength. Allegedly, he can punch so fast that if a target were under water, he could strike it without getting wet. He has never felt a need to prove this claim.
Taijutsu- Katchu Tenshin Amagurekyaku- Essentially the same technique with his legs instead of his hands.
Hiryu Shoten no Jutsu- A counter technique that builds a seal of chakra around Ranma. Any aggressive chakra that penetrates the seal is struck with a powerful burst of chakra in return, usually enough (at least as far as force) to send the opponent flying back/up/or generally away from Ranma. The technique is lightning based, and a powerful enough wind-based attacker my be able to get through it. The technique also has the downside of being almost impossible to use offensively.
Hiryu Korin no Jutsu- a possible follow up to the previous attack. Rather than waiting for the opponent to come to the seal, he can channel the energy of the seal into a single point, forming a Lightning based energy attack in the air near him which he can then drop to a point in the seal. While potentially more offensive than Shoten, it still requires the opponent to be within the range of the seal.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Pandas- The ability to summon Pandas, particularly a big lazy one named Genma.
Shinton Mokotakabisha no Jutsu- Ranma's "heart" based elemental attack. Charging his confidence and arrogance into a shot-gun like pulse of Chakra from his out-thrust palms. He is also capable of charging the attack and then holding it, delivering it similar to a rasengan or chidori, making it his most offensive move. However, if he feels uncertain of an opponent's strength this technique can falter and become little more than an annoyance against his foe.
Saotome-ryu Okujutsu: Tonsou-Hayai no Jutsu- An ancient technique of the Saotome family that is based on distance and strategy. It is also a secret family space-time jutsu. After forming the proper sequence of hand-seals, the user vanishes and appears... somewhere else. Basically this is a fancy name for a jutsu whose sole purpose is to get out of battle. RP Challenge:

Name (& Meaning): Ichimaru Gin Age: 32 Country & Affiliation: Cloud / Nin-Hunter Rank: Jounin Chakra Alignment: Earth / Lightning Special Jutsu Ability: Select knowledge of kinjutsu. Physical Description/Picture:
 Background: Proof that you don't need to be well liked to advance in some circles, you would be hard pressed to find any one - even amongst his own team, let alone countrymen - who would call Gin a "friend". His disturbingly calm and sarcastic manner tend to put people off. His morbid aura and intimidating pressence, combined with what appears to be more than a passing fascination with forbidden jutsu have earned him the nickname of "Kumogakure no Orochi", the great snake of the village hidden amongst the clouds. A name that compares him to Orochimaru of Konoha. Those who have worked closer with him and feel such a title is a little too prestigious simply refer to him as "fox face". Regardless, few people speak his name when not in his presence.
There is little remarkable about Gin's early history. He graduated his ninja academy at the age of 12, he became a chuunin at the age of 14, a jounin at the age of 19, and spent six years as an Anbu before being assigned a three man squad when he was 25. He participated in the successful completion of 95 D rank missions, 87 C rank missions, 112 B rank missions, 214 A rank missions and 17 S rank missions. The rest of his official record is strangely sparse, and those who have worked near him claim that no writing on paper would have been able to prepare them for the actual experience.
What is known has become something of a mystery amongst the village. When he was 27, on a mission with his team, there were "complications" and he was the only one of his team to return. The mission was still a success, and beyond a brief investigation, nothing was ever learned of the fates of the three genin who didn't return. However, since the incident, no other ninja have felt comfortable allowing Genin to be left in his care and he was removed from the mentor list without much protest. After that, he resumed his work in Anbu, eventually founding a small branch of Hunter-Nin designed specifically to hunt down S-Class criminals believed to have done work in Kinjutsu. They have apprehended a number of Kumogakure's most wanted, and it's said that none know as much about forbidden jutsu as Gin.
What is known about him is that he maintains a gleeful smile and sarcastic joviality even in the hottest of combat situations, regardless of how frustrated his opponents attempt to make him. He was noted a few times during large battles for an apparent relish of tricking an enemy into killing one of their own allies, whether through clever dodging or the use of Genjutsu. The disturbing smile, however, hides a chilling fear of things unknown and Gin is a terribly cautious combatant, often trying to weaken an opponent as much as possible before confronting them directly. It's easy to believe that he has a powerful fear of death, an accusation he has never confirmed nor denied.
He does little socializing that people have observed. When he does, it seems to be only due to the formality of being polite. Though he is sarcastic and arrogant, he does honor most long standing traditions and rituals, even if it just because it is "the way things are done". There has never been any official reason to doubt his loyalty to Kumogakure, however, this seems to be as much a matter of convenience as it is of any nationality or patriotism and it wouldn't be hard to swallow the concept of him being lured away under the right promise. Particularly if that promise played to his fear of death.
Most of Gin's abilities are based around deception, both physical and illusion. He weilds a sword "Shinso" that appears to be a wakizashi, but can extend at will. He likes to keep his opponents moving, so that they may not be paying attention to their surroundings. His weakness is first that most of his techniques rely on his keeping Shinso in hand, and secondly that he has a favorred set of tactics that can make him predictable against an opponent who has engaged him more than once. Jutsu List: Hikaribushin no Jutsu- While there is nothing physical about his bushin, this jutsu does have the unusual trait of the bushin remaining even if they are struck. They have no will of their own, and will usually only act out reflections of Gin's last movements. Because they don't discipate like a normal bushin they may add another second to the time it takes an enemy to realize they are a Bushin, as there may be a moment where his enemy has to wonder if they just missed the immaterial target.
Shunpo no Yari- Also known as "Flash Stepping". Beyond even ninja speed of movement, some shinobi are able to charge their chakra in such a way that allows them to briefly break physical barriers of movement. This ability is the middle-step between moving really fast like Rock Lee and bending space like Yondaime. The shinobi will have a destination for their next step before they move, meaning the seaming disappearances will always have a brief re-appearance before the shinobi can turn if they wish to move in another direction.
Ikorose no Jutsu- Gin's signature jutsu. Moving chakra into his sword causes the blade to extend until it pierces a target, likewise, he can use the extended blade to swing in great archs that his wakizashi would be unable to reach.
Yaibaheki no Jutsu- Piercing his sword into the ground, he forms a wall of blades in front of or around his body. Primarily defensive, unless an enemy is standing right in front of him.
Yaibame no Jutsu- Thrusting his sword into the air and causing hundreds of the extended blade to come raining down from above.
Yaibamichi no Jutsu- Thrusting the blade downward and forward, causing a path of blades to shoot out from the ground in a manner similar to Kimimaro's "Sawarabi no Mai", but only moving forward rather than all around him.
Raiton: Kirameki Mai- Running the lightning element along his blade and over the various extended versions of his attacks, causing sparks to jump from blade to blade when there are multiple blades present.
Zetsubooteki no Gen- An A-rank genjutsu that causes an enemy to see copies instead of any other people around, friends and foes are made to look like Gin. Though this is a potent Genjutsu, it is still a Genjutsu and can be dispelled when the target becomes aware. But that can buy Gin even a hesitation in time necessary to change the tide of a battle.
Kinjutsu: Chakra Kagamiton no Jutsu- A jutsu that temporarily realigns an enemy's elemental chakra flow to one within the ability of the user. Because Gin is both Earth and Lightning aligned, he will usually shift an enemy's chakra to Earth, which he can counter with his Lightning jutsu. While this won't remove their ability to use techniques of their standard training, it will make the chakra flow different then they'd be used to. He must make physical contact to use this Jutsu. A skilled medical nin would likely be able to shrug this ability off quickly, also an enemy with exceptional knowledge of chakra control (Kakashi, Sasuke, etc) would likely be able to compensate fairly easily. This is similar to what Tsunade did to Kabuto, only with Chakra instead of the body. This jutsu was forbidden both because of the pain caused by the initial realignment, and because of the long agony that can be caused as one's chakra begins to try and return to normal flow.
Strategy 1: Leaving his Hikaribushin behind during the pause of a Shunpo step so that his opponent is effectively attacking his shadow over and over again. When it appears to be a multitude of illusionary hims on the battlefield he will then impliment his Genjutsu to make it even more confusing to his opponent. Though he prefers to watch his enemies eliminate themselves, he will pick off stragglers with his Ikorose no Jutsu.
Strategy 2: Using Yaibaheki to conceal himself and Yaibamichi or Yaibame to attack from behind the wall, then adding the electrical current to keep the opponent on the defensive while sending out several of his Bushin as a distraction while he moves to a safer position. If an enemy is not dealt with by the initial combination he will complete the gambit by sniping with Ikorose.
Strategy 3: Using his bushin in combination with his Yaibame and Yaibamichi techniques to first seperate and then draw two or more enemies in on his position. Allowing them to come at him, only to Shunpo away at the last moment of their attack so that their strike lands against their ally, rather than himself. A dangerous strategy that he prefers to use against opponents weaker than himself.
Strategy 4: Using Kagamiton before any of the previous strategies (usually 1 or 2). Reserved for particularly strong opponents when retreat is not an option. RP Challenge:

 Background: Proud to a fault. It wouldn't be fair to call Mu Tsu cocky, but it would be delusional to call him "humble". Mu Tsu was selected to be a part of the Saotome school and learned the aspect of the Bird. Mu Tsu believed this aspect to be the noble and swift hawk, or the elegant and beautiful swan, or the graceful and strong crane. While all of those are represented within the aspect of the bird... because of Mu Tsu's horrible eyesight and inability to see the subtleties of particular hand-seals, he has only masterred the Way of the Duck.
While training at the school he met and fell in love with the skilled young girl Xian Pu who was studying the aspect of the Cat at the time. It began when they were six and has lasted to this day, hinderred by his inability to succeed at almost anything he tries. It's not that Mu Tsu is especially bad at anything he tries, but because of his refusal to wear his glasses, he's usually "flying blind" as it were. Believing it is his current rank of Genin that acts as a wall against his love for Xian Pu, he blames Ranma for "giving him false instructions" 5 times in a row.
He, Ranma and Ryouga would probably be one of the elite teams of Konoha if they could get along for the length of a conversation, but constant bickering and refusal to cooperate has kept them bound mostly to D and C rank missions, with a few scattered B's during times when forces were stretched thin. When forces were unavailable 3 years ago, Mu Tsu volunteered to assist with the Mission to Retrieve Uchiha Sasuke after Shikamaru's team had already left, however because he left his glasses behind, he ended up bringing back a chicken instead. To this day he does not understand why the mission is still classified as "failed", and will refer to this chicken as "Sasuke-kun".
When his Jounin master Soun saw how good he was at the aspect of the Duck, Soun introduced him to the summoning arts and Mu Tsu formed a contract with the Duck Clan.
While Mu Tsu is a very good fighter, he can't be called a very fair fighter. His large loose robes are brimming with weapons of various sizes and styles and what he isn't a master of using he is a master of throwing. Even without his glasses, his marksmanship is amongst the best of Konoha and he can almost always hit what he's aiming at, having his glasses just helps him to know what it is exactly that he is aiming at. Mu Tsu, however, prefers to use more close combat bladed or bashing weapons against his enemies, rather than kunai and throwing weapons. Able to weild multiple weapons at once, his signature stance is the "Crane in Flight" stance which spreads several blades out from his sleeves, resulting in a sillouette like that of a bird with it's wings spread. He is also known for using Kunai attached to chains to move himself, or his opponent around a battlefield or to simply section off paths he does not want his enemy to take. Often there will be explosive tags attached to weapons used by Mu Tsu.
Socially, Mu Tsu's worst aspect would be his bad timing. Often shyness will overwhelm him when talking to somebody, and when he finally gets out what he wants to say he is no longer talking to that person. He has an almost obsessive devotion to Xian Pu and seems to hardly even understand the attraction to other girls. His biggest dream is to come to her side and save the day once. Jutsu List: Mostly, Mu Tsu specializes in weapons combat that relies very little on any Chakra usage or Jutsu ability, but he does have a select few supplimental abilities. Because of his use of the Bird Style of his school, all Jutsu begin and end with the seal for Bird.
Keiran no Jutsu- Mu Tsu will fling his arm and several egg-shaped objects will be propelled from his sleeves. Upon impact with a surface the eggs will explode, followed by duck-like illusions hatching out of the egg. The initial explosion can be painful to an enemy if they are hit, but the distraction aspect is probably the more useful. It is also possible for Mu Tsu to delay the explosion until he detonates them with a proper release of chakra.
Taijutsu: Kishimi no Oogama Mai- A graceful but somewhat wild attack involving a barrage of dance-like movements with scythe-blades extending from Mu Tsu's sleeves.
Taijutsu: Takazume Ken- Blades extend from Mu Tsu's shoes for an arial attack, usually rebounding off of a tree or being thrown by one of his comrades.
Taijutsu: Hakucho Ken- A counter strike with one arm followed by a finger strike with that same arm, the opposite arm then comes up towards the enemy's face, often with a claw extending from this hand. This strike comes extremely quick and both strikes would probably be felt about the same time. This counter-attack is best used against forward-thrusting attacks, ie Rasengan or Chidori type attacks, but when masterred can be effective against any forward attack facing the enemy.
Tori-Henshin no Jutsu- Mu Tsu believes he is using this ability to henshin into a majestic hawk, but is in fact using this ability to turn into a duck. While in this form he can still fling weapons (especially Kunai and explosives) from his wings, and is capable of flight. Henshin no Jutsu is to Henge no Jutsu what Kage Bushin is to Bushin, the user actually becomes what they turn into rather than just looking like it.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Ducks- Mu Tsu can summon ducks. Primarily the three ninja ducklings; Hui, Dui and Lui. He is also capable of summoning the Duck Anbu: Kuraitsubasa, though at considerable more Chakra. If he wishes, Mu Tsu can combine this with Keiran no Jutsu by adding his summoning seal to the eggs thrown, so when the eggs explode they will hatch as the very real summoned ducks, as opposed to an illusionary duck. If Mu Tsu performs the jutsu improperly, he runs the risk of summoning the useless duck, Ho War, to the battlefield and accomplishing nothing but wasting his chakra and filling an area with smoke. Name (& Meaning): Sugeno Tarou Age: 17 Country & Affiliation: Konoha Rank: Chuunin Chakra Alignment: Earth Special Jutsu Ability: Advanced Henshin no Jutsu ability allows him to take the form of a Minotaur Chimera Physical Description/Picture:
 Background: Found as an orphan and raised by the Saotome school's most feared and evil of masters, Happosai-sensei. Tarou never got along with his father, despite learning many advanced techniques under his tutelage. More than any other student of their zodiac style, Tarou excelled at his studies and masterred his form of the Ox at the age of 8 and did the unprecedented by moving on to other aspects of their style. To this day, Tarou is the only student ever to have studied more than one Zodiac of their style and the "hidden zodiac" Aquatic style Octopus.
The ways of his adoptive father, however, were a constant source of shame and humiliation for the school. A decision was made by the school for a strike against his father. Tarou participated in the sealing away of Happosai-sensei and the eventual passing of the school mastery to Ko Long and Saotome Genma. Despite having helped seal away his father in a cave hidden in the River Country mountains, Tarou seems emotionally detached about the subject and shows no sign of remourse. He has even been known to brag that the mission could not have been accomplished without his strength.
Tarou went on to continue his excelling ways in the Ninja Academy by graduating at the age of 10 and becoming a chuunin at the age of 14, first amongst his team. Under the guidance of Ko Long and teamed with Tendou Akane and Xian Pu (both now chuunin, themselves) their team has successfully completed missions thought to be well beyond their level of capability. Most notably following a cell of Otonin that had been trying to escape to the Water country, which put them behind enemy lines and forced engagement with not only the Otonin cell but two of the Mist's Seven Swordsmen (Aburai Renji and Kurosaki Ichigo), though the mist swordsmen were their not their target and this confrontation was resolved without too much conflict.
Socially, Tarou is noble but egotistical and somewhat manipulative. Tarou does not mind exploiting others to his own advantage, including the members of his own team if necessary. As such, Tarou has no real close friends or emotional attachments. He's prone to talking arrogantly, even to those of superior rank or skill and usually forgoes formality and customary respect. However, he fancies himself a hero and will save others if they appear helpless, though this is possibly because he values the praise that he recieves when he plays this role. He does harbor intense hate for people that remind him of his adoptive father, however...
In combat, Tarou has no sense of fair play and will use every advantage he can to end a fight quickly. Though he wouldn't necessarily cut through his allies to get to an enemy, he would feel aggitated about their being in the way. He prefers to lay a battlefield ahead of time as much as possible, choosing where he wants a conflict to take place so that he can lure enemies into traps. He will also use his Chimera form to overwhelm an opponent with physical strength. Tarou is more of a physical fighter and does not rely very much on his jutsu. Jutsu List: Juusenkyou no Jutsu - Force As a master of the henshin no jutsu, Tarou can force others into their henshined forms with his own chakra. Another master can resist this ability, or transform back at will, but if a student is unskilled it may take them a while to return to normal. The idea of this art is that if a colleague is bound in some way or unable to perform the henshin themselves, Tarou or another master can active their change for them.
Henshin no Jutsu - Ox / Crane / Snake / Octopus Having masterred the henshin aspect of each of these styles he is able to henshin into any of these animals individually.
Henshin no Jutsu - Chimera Form Having masterred several aspects of the Saotome school he has manifested a transformation that combines aspects beyond just his original Ox style. Now a winged minotaur with a snake-tail. Because Tarou has hands in his alternate form, he is one of the few Henshins that can continue to use jutsu while transformed.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Ox Like all the zodiac masters, he signed a summoning contract with the respective animal of his style. This enables him to summon Oxes.
Doton: Retsudo Tensho no Jutsu Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. When the ninja forms the needed handseals and slams their palm to the ground, surrounding rock will begin to churn and twist up crushing all those trapped within it.
Doton: Iwa Yado Kazushi Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Earth Element. This technique allows the ninja to control nearby stone and rock. This can be especially useful if in a cave or a stone lodging. The technique can loosen the rocks and cause them to come raining down on whomever is trapped inside.
Hohappo Dan no Jutsu Using chakra to charge a stone or ball with explosive chakra so that it will explode when thrown. This is similar to Deidara's explosive techniques, but far less artsy. Tarou can, but rarely does, take the time to shape the bomb into something. Unlike Deidara, he has no range in levels of explosive and his Hohappo Dan is roughly the equivilant of Deidara's C1 level explosives. RP Challenge:

Name (& Meaning): Ginsoba Kazuo (Peaceful King of Silver Noodles) Age: 19 - 3/5 (Pisces) Country & Affiliation: Oto - Shin Oto Rank: Genin Chakra Alignment: Wind Special Jutsu Ability: Manipulation of soundwaves and vibrations via chakra and a revised version of the "Melody Arm" seen on Dosu Kinuta and the Air Tunnels seen on Zaku Abumi. Latent cursed seal abilities, yet to grow into even Phase 1. Physical Description/Picture: A bandage mask covers most of his face, and a black cowl/hood takes care of the rest so that only the area around his eyes is visible. His clothing is two layered, with a black bodysuit covering most of his body, and then a gray robe similar to Orochimaru's over it without the rope-bow and with the addition of a black and gray camoflage scarf. On his left arm is the heavy "Melody Arm" gauntlet, while a much lighter forearm guard like those worn by Anbu is on his right. He basically wears a stylized version of the outfit seen worn by the masses of Sound Ninja when they attacked Konoha. Maybe I'll draw a picture later. Cursed mark seal on his neck just above the clavicle, hidden, of course, by the bodysuit and scarf. Background: Orochimaru once said that Kabuto was a blessing because experiments used to kill a subject, and now he could perform experiment after experiment on a single subject. Kazuo might as well have been the subject he was talking about. While he was undoubtedly not the first to be experimented on, Kazuo did have particularly rotten luck when it came to results. The first experiment Kazuo was a part of was an attempt to graft a kikkei genkai into another outside of the bloodline. Orochimaru attempted to add Kimimaro's bone manipulation into Kazuo's body. While the experiment seemed to result in Kazuo being able to recover from injury faster, it was ultimately a failure as he demonstrated none of the ability to conciously manipulate bone structure or instantly regenerate lost bone matter. Second, Kazuo was used in a first attempt to apply the air-tunnels into a body. While Zaku was able to cut objects with chakra infused air, Kazuo's abilities proved far less fruitful. The air-tunnels in his arm were later used in an attempt to graft a newer modified version of the Melody Arm into his body, while this proved far more sucessful than previous attempts, the ability lost Orochimaru's interest fairly quickly.
Ultimately, Kazuo's only remarkable ability seemed to be to survive the wide variety of experiments being performed on him, so when Orochimaru was experimenting with his cursed seals, Kazuo was one of the earliest to be given the opportunity for "greatness". While Kazuo miraculously survived the long painful process, he failed once again to exibit any of the desired effects, and he was left behind in the same facility as Juugo. It was reasonable to expect him to be one of the first to rebel and celebrate when Orochimaru was rumored dead, but Kazuo just retreated further into his quiet cell and sunk into depression. Kazuo had volunteered for every experiment performed on him.
Born in a poor village that was constantly overrun by the neighboring Kusagakure and Takigakure in skirmishes with one another and with the Fire country. His village was close enough to the Valley of The End and to the Fire Country itself, that when the Kyuubi attacked it was not spared from the carnage. His village had no ninja of their own and the only memory he had of his parents were their always needing assistance from someone else, always struggling. These memories are vague as he was just over four when his parents were killed during the Kyuubi attack and he was found by Orochimaru. Orochimaru was primarily the only family he'd ever known, and all the happy memories he has come from kind words or praise from him. All Kazuo ever wanted growing up was to be needed by someone for something, and he found value in furthering Orochimaru's work, even if he didn't excel as a ninja.
Though typically stoic and prone to long bouts of depression, Kazuo also has a twisted (somewhat cruel) sense of humor and makes attempts at jokes occasionally. However, these jokes are typically in bad taste and he usually seems confused by others attempts at humor. Being raised mostly in a lab left him with a skewed outlook on the value of life. While not necessarily a crazed psychotic killer, Kazuo has no qualms about taking life. He believes all things have a value, but also reasons that if something impedes something of greater value then it can rightfully be eliminated. This is a phylosophy he applies even to himself and without words of praise from those above him he can sink into deep solitary depressions, likewise even the slightest flattery can elevate him into puppy-dog like states of gleeful loyalty.
In combat, Kazuo uses the air tunnels and his Melody Arm gauntlet in conjunction with one another. His entire left arm can be compared to a powerful chakra based sound weapon, like a large organic woodwind instrument, chakra pushing the air through his Melody Arm to create various effects and sounds, as well as suspend sounds and vibrations in the air as sonic mines. He can create a range of frequencies with his gauntlet, and even dampen or eliminate other frequencies effectively creating silence around him. If he closes all channels of the Melody Arm, he can release chakra from the palm as well. However, unlike Zaku's ability to cut or create gale forces, Kazuo's projections are typically projected vibrations. Jutsu List: Kyomeisen - this was the blanket term used to describe all of Dosu's techniques involving his Melody Arm. Kazuo primarily uses this ability in 4 forms. A shield, by making a wave of vibrations that can knock an opponent back or halt their advance. A bomb, by making a small point of sound in a location that he can then "detonate" at will. While this can be a vibration as well, he usually uses this as a very high pitched sound that disrupts the inner ear. A wave, a of painfully high pitched sound that travels in a direct line out from his amplifier, but can be made to bounce off of solid objects, or pre-created "bomb" or "wall" points to alter it's direction. And his "sound cloak", by altering and silencing proper sound frequencies, Kazuo can make it appear (to the ear, anyway) that he is not there by eliminating any sound that he makes. This still leaves him visible to the eye, of course. Cursed Seal ~ Neon - In his cursed seal form, chakra ability and speed are increased dramatically, and he gains the ability to create similar effects of the Kyomeisen with his vocal cords. Name (& Meaning): Anda, Kana (Kana:One who is powerful, Anda: Meet at the field) Age: Seventeen Country & Affiliation: Earth Country - Tsuchikage Rank: Jounin Chakra Alignment: Earth & Lightning Special Jutsu Ability: Her Kekki Genkai is that of the Anda Clan, which is the main clan in Iwagakure. Her clan can manipulate rocks and rock formations by using their chakra, and messing with the molecules to change their form. This is generally used as a Defensive method-but can also be used in offense and the key to her ninjutsu. she has an unusually high ability to mold earth-chakra, probably to the extent that she isn't even aware of doing it sometimes. She's capable enough of using Earth-chakra that it reacts to her instincts. Physical Description/Picture:  Background: Kana was born in Iwagakure-the village hidden in the stone. Being born of the infamous Anda clan she was expected to surpass many other children. However this didn’t happen until after she became a Genin and began completing missions as well as training. Growing up she wasn’t really a social child. She was often shielded by her clans name-and somewhat feared. Somehow this fear reflected on her- and made her unable to pass ninja academy the first time.
She had little to no friends until she was ‘rounded into her genin team and learned to be more sociable and determined to make friends. As she grew up and quickly excellerated through the ninja rankings-she spotted many faults with her village, including how hostile it was towards other ninja countries. It became her goal to become Iwa’s representative and strengthen their relations with other countries. Not only that but to also one day become Tsuchikage.
Kana grew up without a mother. Her mother was killed in action when she was only five. She tends to get along better with males, since in her genin team she was the only female and had to prove herself to be as strong or stronger then they were. She has grown deeply attached to her teammates and old sensei and considers them part of her family. Jutsu List: Kawarimi no jutsu/Body substituion justsu: It's implied in the name. The user switches his or her body with a plant, animal or anything for that matter. This is used to escape dangerous situations such as many sharp projectiles being flung at the person. Sometimes you can damage your opponent with this attack even.
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu/ Shadow Clone Technique: Unlike the regular Bunshin no Jutsu, Kage Bunshins fight back. It's not just an illusion, it creates real clones. The power and chakra of the user is evenly devided among the clones depending on how many there are. This makes it impossible to decipher which is the real body. If a clone recieves a direct hit, the clone will disappear. This is treated as a forbidden jutsu but many advanced shinobi still know and use it. It is mainly a jounin level technique.
Henge no jutsu/ Transformation Skill: A basic shinobi skill. Transforms the user into another different appearance. Whether they transform into another person or turn into a material thing such as a shuriken, doesn't matter.
Doroudomo Doten Kekkai/ Earth Barrier Clay Prison: A earth elemental ninjutsu attack in which the user pummels his hands into the ground and forms a dome around the enemy. The doA earth elemental ninjutsu attack in which the user pummels his hands into the ground and forms a dome around the enemy. The dome is a barrier which stops them from attacking but at the same time sucks up the enemies chakra. Due to the area in which it spans it has some vulnerable spots which chakra flow is not flowing to, in which case the enemy can focus their attacks at this certain point to break through.
Dango Dotonidoryo/ Mud Cannonball: An earth elemental attack in which the user uses chakra to grasp a huge amount of land mass, and then forms it into a huge boulder and then hurls it at the enemy.
Doton, Doryuu Taiga/ Earth Element, Moving Land River: A earth elemental technique, which forms a mud land slide which then pushes the enemy back and then stops them from moving with the pressure of the out going mud direction. This technique is usally the beggening to the Earth Element, Dragon Missile attack
Doton, Doryuudan/ Earth Element. Earth Dragon Missile: A technique that follows up the Earth River Slide technique, a shape of a dragon is pulled out of the mud in which the dragon opens it's mouth and then spits missiles made out of mud to hit the opponent.
Earth Barrier Raging Wave: A jutsu in which the user shoots a specific amount of chakra at a specific direction under the ground to destroy the land an opponent is currently standing on and blow them back with debris of rock and sand.
Doton Shinjuu Zanshuu no Jutsu/Inner Decapitation Skill: The user hides beneath the ground, and reaches up to grab their opponent. The opponent is then pulled under the ground, up to their chin, allowing the head to be subject to more powerful jutsu
Kai/Release: A jutsu that destroys/cancels out an illusionary jutsu attempted on the user. Only Shinobi with strong chakra control (such as Sakura) can perform. The user releases a large amount of chakra then quickly haults it. The Genjutsu is usualy dispelled after that, depending on how strong the skill is.
RP Challenge: Challege 3: Romance Kana slowly turned her head to look at Gaara, hearing his voice. She smiled, widely and nodded a bit. Her cheeks held the tiniest bit of pink in them, bringing out the dark blue color of her hair and brown eyes. “I’m glad you think that, Kazekage-sama…I mean Gaara-kun.” No matter how many times he asked- the Jounin would probably always address him this way. At least until she got used to it.
“It is very beautiful. Perhaps one day you could see my village at sunset.”She said, glancing at him hopefully. However she knew it probably wouldn’t happen with his duties as Kazekage. She sighed, wiggling her legs that were hanging off the side of the canyon. “It’s a lot better then Iwagakure...I can see why you love it here.”
"Challege 6: Romance/Social"
Kana stared at the woman wordlessly. What could she say to her? What could she really say to comfort the woman who now hated her, and her existence? “I didn’t mean to hurt you…” She mumbled, looking down weakly. “I was just doing as I was told to do. I…” She looked at her eyes widening. “Me? A monster?” She stopped unbelievingly. “How can you…? No, how dare you call me that!” Her fists were clenched, and shaking. Her sadness was exchanged for anger. Her eyes narrowed, tempted to hit the woman. Instead she punched the wall closest to her-sucessful in making a fist sized hole in it.
She turned around to look at her once more. “I’ll never be the monster you are.” Before moving out the door slamming it shut. She had had enough of this drama.
Challege 5: Social
It was hot, ungodly hot. Man! It was Kana’s first day in Konoha, and she was already complaining about how hot it was! But, needless to say she did find the country quite beautiful in comparison to her own. After being hassled a bit yesterday by the guards, Izumo and Kotetsu which she didn’t really mind because they had been teasing her.
She was looking for something to eat-but a poster that had recently been put onto display caught her eye. It was rather small but she could see it nonetheless. However she moved closer to withdraw the strain on her eyes, golden orbs reading the words. So, the grass country was having a kunoichi contest? Well! That was certainly something she had to participate in! (I was lazy with this one- since I could probably add two paragraphs. xD..and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to add her Kekigenkai.)

Name (& Meaning): Mostly known as: Aikano Okami / Aika (Mistress of Lament Song / Lament song) Real name: Meianno Yuugao (Moonflower of Light and Darkness) Age: 25 7/8 - Cancer Country & Affiliation: Tsukigakure / No official alliance Rank: Official: Chuunin / Estimated about Jounin Chakra Alignment: Water and Wind Special Jutsu Ability: Jutsu seals, stealth. Kekkei Genkai: Nokeru - Nokeru is a jutsu that can take from it's target one of their senses or dull two or three. Aika has taken the time to improve this technique and has focused it enough to be able to take away two full senses, or to dull three of them, or even briefly strengthen them. Her eyes will fully cloud over into pure white when she performs this - making her otherwise ineffective in battle until she releases the hold. Physical Description/Picture: AikaAika has long and deep blue hair, that it seems through her practice of her Kogarashi technique, strands here and there have been shocked into turning a wintry white - making her hair seem to shimmer like the surface of frozen water under the moonlight as she moves her head. Born with blue eyes, the years of suffering from her own kekkei genkai seems to have effected them, turning the brilliant blue into a somewhat eerie shade of lavender - though at times when she finds herself suffering a severe enough headache, the blue will return and her eye-sight weakens so that she must wear glasses to get through the day until the pain fades.
The sense-numbing also seemed to effect her growth somewhat, so she's gone through her life no taller than she was when she was thirteen - a fact that she tries to hide by wearing thick-soled boots to raise her up to almost five and a half feet, when without them she'd probably be at just under five feet. Her clothing tends to veer more toward the sensual side, and her make-up done to further hide the effects. Without these things, she could very nearly pass for no more than an academy student.
Despite the more fashion-minded clothing, she has managed to adapt them to be practical as well. She wears a belt with large silver hoops to hang pouches from to carry small weapons or her poisons, elbow-length gloves are thick enough to help protect her hands from the cold, and have been altered with small metal plates to help block attacks. The boots lace up the back, to allow for a solid piece along her shin for protection. Her top has even been created of thick enough leather, lined with thin but strong bone to help give her upper body some protection.
Background: Growing up in Tsukigakure, Yuu often found herself the target of talk amongst villagers. It wasn't necessarily in a bad way when she was younger. The Meianno were a respected family in Tsukigakure, so she enjoyed a happy childhood and up-bringing. She had been allowed to become a student and passed her genin exams at a young age, but beyond that, seemed to struggle for no reason that anyone could understand. Her abilities almost seemed at a stand-still once she reached the age of ten, when her teacher had been preparing to pass her on to be tested for her Chuunin rank already.
Instead, she was made to watch as the rest of the Genin her age passed their tests and were allowed to start going on missions and grow stronger, some even becoming Juunin by the time she was sixteen - still a Genin. She attempted to keep herself calm by singing as she performed her hand-movements, but in the end it did little good. All this frustration finally emerged and boiled over in her, and when she went to attempt the test, the anger and frustration at her self allowed her to pass the test, but at such a cost on her energy that she ended up in bed for over a week. When a doctor came to see her, he noticed that her eyes had clouded over some, and after speaking with her father, discovered that there was a latent kekkei genkai in the Meianno family that could be employed to dull some of the senses or incapacitate one of the senses of a target. After some observation, the doctor surmised that without proper training in the jutsu, it seemed to be turning those energies on Yuu, making it near impossible for her to progress further in her learning.
As none had had to deal with such in generations, it was decided that it was best to stop Yuu's training in favor of being able to focus their efforts on their more capable students. Feeling suddenly worthless, and seized with a desire to prove them wrong, she ran away to the mainland and began training herself in how to control the ability - though frustration at herself would often rear its head once again and with what abilities she had, she wreaked enough havoc to where she and her strange tendency to sing in that haunting voice became well-enough known to earn her the nickname "Aikano Okami". When she found herself notorious enough after a couple years to have heard of a couple of hidden villages having their ANBU on the look-out for her, if not hunting her actively, she withdrew into more privacy.
It was only then and through learning a great deal of patience that Yuu, or Aika, learned to finally not only control the ability, but pushed it to the point of surpassing its orignal bounds. Seven years had passed since she left her village, but she attempted a return anyway. When she attempted to request that she be allowed to be tested and train in the village once again, she was turned away - both for the fact that no one felt that it would be worth the time, despite what potential she once seemed to have, and for the trouble she had caused. Leaving once again, she has devoted the past two years to traveling and teaching herself - ultimately seeking someone who would teach her and help her to train her abilities, because left on her own, she cannot manage to gain the strength or discipline she needs.
And though while not a true split personality, she seems to have developed ideas of herself. When she's dressed properly, her hair up and make-up on, she goes by Aika. But when she's simply as herself, she doesn't feel as strong (not to mention looks to be about fourteen or fifteen) and so will go by Yuu - those who do not know here would simply be able to make the mistake of thinking there really are two separate people of Aika and Yuu. And despite her shame at not having been able to reach her potential yet, she wears her band over her head as a reminder to herself that she can find it in herself to push hard enough to achieve her goals.
Jutsu List: Kamaitachi (Cut caused by whirlwind) - A wind called up that can circle its target or targets like a tornado, the chakra lashing out like blades. At her strength, the blades are not strong enough to cut through armors, and will do little more than cause surface wounds. Yokaze (Night wind) - Another tornado-like wind that surrounds the target, though as it begins forming around her, she will break a vial of a poison in her hand and as the wind picks the poison up, it turns black and heads for the target, pulling air away from around them so they're forced to breath in the poison. Depending on which poison she's using, some will even cause the dark wind to glitter like star-light. She carries her poisons with her, though none are lethal - she prefers instead things like sedatives, or something that would give an intense but brief nose bleed or headache. Kogarashi (Cold wintry wind) - This wind is more of a gust, calling up winds cold enough that if one is subjected to them for a prolonged time, can actually start to cause frost bite. For shorter periods, a strong gust can be powerful enough to lower someone's body temperature briefly - which would make warming back up in high temperatures dangerous as well, as it would occur too fast. Benzaiten (Eloquence and water) - As she has not been able to strengthen her control on water as much, this is more a distractionary method, rather than something that can cause serious harm. Near a body of water, the chakra will call up creatures made of water - while this has the potential to create something the size of a whale or shark that could keep the target submerged for a length of time, now she can only manage things the size of fish, which essentially do no more damage than offer the same annoyance as a water balloon. Challenge 3: She had been swinging her legs back and forth with a relaxed but happy smile on her lips, giving a little laugh as the wind picked up and brushed thick locks of hair in front of her face. Yuu was in the middle of brushing them back from her line of vision when he spoke, turning her gaze to him as she tucked the last strand back behind her ear. A soft pink blush colored her cheeks and she lowered her gaze shyly before leaning over to place a quick kiss on his cheek before settling back to as she was before, though her hand now settled at her side instead of her lap, open as if to invite him to take her hand, if he wanted.
Challenge 4: As she saw the wave of water moving toward her, it briefly flitted across her mind to call upon her Kogarashi to freeze it where it was at a stand-still, but quickly dismissed it as it would probably end up doing her more harm in the end than the water would have originally. She reached into a pouch, pulling out a thin vial and clasping it in her hand as she had to leap up and to the side to avoid the sword flying at her, but realized a little to late the bullet flying toward her, catching it in her thigh as she came back down to the ground. There was a brief and strangled cry, but she quickly gained control of herself. Her next jutsu didn't require much in the way of strength, but timing was essential. With the vial held between her hands, Aika's fingers shifted swiftly through the motions. As she felt the cyclonic wind begin developing, she crushed the vial between her hands, continuing the movements to build the wind up further as the drops of liquid were picked up and blended in - the wind taking on color, becoming black as midnight before it picked up enough strength to spiral away across the distance, splitting into two thinner spirals to be able to target both women at once.
Challenge 5: Given the weather outside, Yuu decided that she was in one of her lighter, more playful moods and that she would forego the usual rituals of make-up and pulling up her hair. Instead of her usual outfit, she instead slid into a pair of shorts and a short-sleeved shirt that rose up a little to reveal slight hints of her flat stomach. Pulling on a pair of sandals, she ran out and found herself falling into an easy jog out to the fields to play, as seemed to be the thought of many of the younger children in the village. But her steps slowed to a stop as she passed up a poster that caught her eye, and she went back to look at it. An eager smile found her lips as she read over the information, and she quickly began looking about for the one hanging them. Spotting her, she ran over with the intent of asking her more about the competition - but saw that the girl seemed to be in a bit of a rush. "Oh... would you like some help?" She offered, holding out her arms to either help her carry some of the things so she could work faster, or to be handed the supplies to go put some up in other places for her.

Name (& Meaning): KEAHI (Flames, Fire – Hawaiian)
Age: 19 (August 6 – Leo {which just happens to be the fire sign})
Country & Affiliation: Hoshigakure
Rank: Hoshikage (technically not a Kage, since not a respected village, but the Village leader …)
Chakra Alignment: Fire and Water
Special Jutsu Ability: Keahi can pull special weapons from a special type of fire. This is a technique that she spent most of her childhood attempting to perfect with her mother before she died. Keahi also has a very good control over Fire. Keahi is also very good at controlling wind, but not as good as she is with fire.
Physical Description/Picture:  Keahi is a very small looking girl, but when it comes down to it, she is tough as nails. Keahi normally puts her hair up into a pony tail for missions. She has a larger chest then shown in the picture, and her outfit differs. The outfit that she wears, when not going on missions, is a shirtsleeve purple kimono edge in white, that lands at her knees. She also wears knee high black sock things and the traditional shoe. She also wears a red obi sash and a gold tie. Her ninja outfit is black pants and a short sleeved kimono top of the same purple and white as her longer kimono. And of course she has her village headband on her head.
Background: Keahi is from Hoshigakure. This is not considered important enough to have ‘ninja’ from the village, but to the village itself, they produce high quality ninja. As the 5th Hoshikage, after the death of the 3rd because of the training that he so very much loved, Keahi took his place. She didn’t really want to, become the 5th, but since her father was the 3rd, her village believed that she was the best fit. Sadly, Keahi was only in her mother’s stomach when her father was killed. She was told what a good man her father was, but never got to experience this. Keahi spent most of her child without the knowledge that her father was assassinated by Akahoshi, the man who took her in and acted almost like a father to her. Akahoshi, since he was so close to Keahi, had the girl undergo the training of the star without the knowledge of anyone knowing. Keahi spent 5 years training with the star, and by this time, started getting sick with the power. At this point in time, Keahi’s mother became sick, as well, with the power of the star. Luckily, Keahi had perfected her ‘Fire Weapon’ technique. Her mother passed away when Keahi was 9. When a group of Leaf Village Nin came to her village, the little Keahi was so excited to see ‘real ninja.’ She looked up to all that had came, and didn’t know the reason why they had come. When Naruto killed Akahoshi, Keahi is crushed. Finally free of Akahoshi, the village told Keahi the truth. They had been forced to keep many secrets from the girl because of the fear they had for the Hoshikage. Now, many years later, Keahi has been but at the top of the village, and dislikes it greatly. When The Akatsuki begin to win, Keahi, along the group of trusted advises, decides to join forces with Konohagakure. No, Keahi ventures from the land that she knows to find help in the Leaf Village, feeling that since they helped them once, they would surely help them a second time.
Jutsu List: Fire Release - Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu is the most basic method of fire manipulation. It requires a lot of chakra to perform. The user inhauls and fills their lungs with fire chakra, and then blows out causing a fireball. Shadow Clone Technique - Kage Bunshin no Jutsu reates actual copies, not illusions, of the user with whatever damage and weapons the original may have. ‘Fire Weapon’ Technique – A Technique that Keahi and her mother created by themselves. This Technique requires no hand signs, and is similar to the fire ball. This Technique can be considered an addition to the Fireball technique. The user generally does the first couple of steps of the Fireball Technique, but the fire that comes out requires less Chakra and is a dark purple color. The fire will burn others but not the user. The user can pull weapons from this, and is like a summoning Jutsu in that respect. The weapons pulled from the fire are wrapped in the purple fire, and cause more damage because of this poisonous fire. This fire can also be handled in the hand of the user as a weapon itself. Other Fire Techniques ….
RP Challenge: Keahi is in the process of training with the star. She doesn’t, at the time, realize the adverse effects of the star, and thinks that it is a normal training routine. (Action) Keahi felt herself fall to the ground. She was tired and out of breath. She was in the process of training with a few other adult ninja of her village. Under the orders of Akahoshi, the girl had been training for a while. Akahoshi had told Keahi not to tell her mother what she was doing. Being young, the girl did what she was told. Akahoshi was like her father figure, since she had never known her real dad. As she looked up at the larger figures she wondered why none of the other kids were forced to train with her. She was the youngest person training, but strangely, she was fine with that. Even though the training was difficult and very tiring, she could feel herself getting stronger every time she harnessed the power of the star. Getting up, in a slight cold sweat, she jumped up. She took a deep breath in, and filled it with fire chakra. Exhaling, she aimed it at a black haired nin. She felt as the power of the star, a yard away, filled her and the power of the fireball. When she landed back onto the ground, she couldn’t help but cough. She was getting tired, and she had felt her fire engulf the male she was facing. A tear ran down the young girls face as she ran to find her ‘dad.’ Keahi was put into the position of Hoshikage after Akahoshi was killed by Naruto. The young girl who was practically raised by the old man Akahoshi, feels crushed. After his death, the people of the village are free to tell Keahi that the man she so looked up to had been lying to her from the very begging. She isn’t sure what to think about all of this, all the emotions run together as the girl attempts to figure out what to feel.(social) Keahi felt a tear run down her face as her mother spoke. ‘Akahoshi killed your father. Your father was a noble man, and Akahoshi killed him. That is why I told you to stay away from him. He was a bad mad who approved of the star being used. That star has killed some of our finest men and women.’ Keahi didn’t know what to feel. She was mad at her mom and at Akahoshi for lying to her all these years. She was angry at the village for not telling her how bad the training was and how bad Akahoshi was. She was sad at the death of both her father and of the man she saw as a father. These emotions, plus more, all ran through the girls body. Before she knew what had hit her, she was in her mother’s arms. She was crying so hard she couldn’t help it. “Mommy! He had me train! That star, he made me train with that star! He told me not to tell, he told me you would be mad. He lied to me and he had me lie to you.” Keahi cried through tears. She couldn’t stop, she doubted that the words that came from her mouth could be understood, but she felt a little better knowing that she had finally told her mom what had been inside her for so long. The man that had torn her from her dad and the cause for all her pain was finally gone. If she only knew that because of Akahoshi, her mother, too, would fall ill and die. Name (& Meaning): Aburai Renji Age: 17 Country & Affiliation: Kiri - Swordsman Rank: Jounin Chakra Alignment: Water Special Jutsu Ability: More than most of the seven swordsmen, Renji has trained in Jutsu specifically designed for his sword. As such, he was heralded by the current Mizukage as the "True" master of Zabimaru. Physical Description/Picture:
 Add the "Kiri" emblem to his headband for pic 1. For this RP the sword would never look like it does in pic 2, pic 2 is just to show more of his tattoo. Background: For as long as he can recall, Renji has been walking a step behind Kurosaki Ichigo. In his training, in his promotion to swordsman, in the heart of Kuchiki Rukia... he always seemed to be just a point or a notch behind. This is especially noted in the fact that Renji is the second youngest shinobi ever to become one of the Seven Swordsmen. Though he and Ichigo are the same age, he recieved his sword later.
The Aburai family are a family dedicated to the service of the Kuchiki clan. They act in a manner much like the branch-house of the Hyuuga family in Konoha. They are to protect and serve and if necessary die for the Kuchiki clan. In Renji's case this was never a burden, even without asking he would glady lay his life for Kuchiki Rukia. It made him proud to be of service to her and he felt it made him special even if his house was not one of the noble families of Kirigakure. However, when they were twelve, this unique and special priviledge that made him close to the girl who captivated his heart was usurped... when Kurosaki Ichigo made the same vow of Kuchiki Rukia. The fact that Ichigo wasn't bound to Rukia somehow made the vow more special to her and devestated Renji, instating in him a drive to become better at this task than Ichigo.
Part of his servitude includes the addition of the tattoo for the longer he serves the Kuchiki family. At first glance this tattoo resembled a cursed seal in phase 1, but it is actually just a series of marks that are grown along the body until they connect all the lines of his chakra. When his tattoo was completed he was considerred to have been "released" of his vow of servitude, however, he still answers Rukia's beck and call without question. When using his Bankai ability, the lines of his tattoo glow as they ease the movement of chakra through his body.
Renji trained under the previous master of Zabimaru, and like all swordsmen recieved his sword upon her death. Like all members of the seven swordsmen he was promoted based on his apprenticeship under her, for the seven swordsmen are raised not selected. This unique method of training gave him a special outlook on Kirigakure, as he was not patriotized in the same way as many of the others of his country, and he belongs to a group that is seemingly seperate of the rest of Kiri. It is this outsider nature that allowed one of the Seven Swordsmen to attempt a coup, in an effort to change the village to a perspective more suiting of the Swordsmen. This is not to say that Renji is not loyal to the Water country, or that any of the particular swordsmen are not. But, because of his unique training in addition to his vassal's role under the Kuchiki family, Renji is by nature a somewhat more secretive and distant individual. The secrets of the swordsmen are only for the swordsmen to know.
Socially, Renji is a somewhat akward individual. He's by no means shy, but also has a strong difficulty expressing his feelings. He prefers to let actions speak instead of words, and is probably more like his rival Ichigo than he would like to admit. Renji would glady die for Rukia, but doesn't seem to understand the concept of expressing his true feelings for her. He is quick to make friends in most situations, but while he may be protective of them and care for them, he is also distant to them and sometimes it might be hard to tell how he really thinks about somebody. Contrarily, however, if he is not fond of somebody he is quick to let them know. He may occasionally come off as rude, but it is not his intention to do so. As with any of the swordsmen, it may be better to fight him than to try and start up a conversation if you want to communicate with him on a level he really understands.
In combat, Renji uses Jutsu that are primarily linked to his sword Zabimaru. Whereas most swordsmen use their sword to compliment the style in which they fight, Renji developped a style which compliments his sword. His sword has the ability to disconnect and extend sections of the blade, making it act like a bladed whip more than a sword when he desires it to. Each link is also able to disconnect and be used as a weapon by guiding it with chakra. However, disconnecting or even extending his sword requires chakra control be run through the weapon, meaning he must return the sword to it's normal stance every so often or risk exhausting himself. Also, because of Renji's dedication to his sword and lack of a lot of skills that are based around unarmed fighting, he's less effective than desirable without his weapon. Jutsu List: Mizubushin no Jutsu- same as Zabuza's or Itachi's or Kakashi's.
Kirigakure no Jutsu- The technique seen used by Zabuza to completely fog an area. Renji then fights by communing with the spirit of Zabimaru to sense the chakra of an opponent, as well as listening to the area. He is not as skilled at the actual stealth of the attack as Momochi Zabuza was, however, and often may give himself away to an attentive enemy.
Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu- The water-dragon attack seen used by Kakashi and Zabuza. Because he is not as skilled at Jutsu without his sword, this attack is fairly weak compared to that seen performed by the other two.
Suiton: Suirou no Jutsu- The water prison technique seen used by Zabuza. His chakra control is not as good and it drains him more quickly to attempt to hold stronger enemies within it. Just like Zabuza's, this technique unfortunately leaves him relatively defenseless if he does not have a Mizubushin or an ally to protect him while he holds his target.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Zabimaru This technique can be used in two ways. If he does not possess his sword, he can summon his sword to him. If he does have his sword and he places his blood on the proper seals on the blades, he can summon the "spirit" of Zabimaru. A babboon with a snake for a tail. The spirit has little use in combat, but has sensory abilities that transcend Renji's own and may note something that Renji does not. In addition, the spirit must first be summoned before certain techniques can be performed.
Higa Zekko no Jutsu- Renji sends his chakra through his weapon and uses it to suppliment the normal cords that connect the blade, and seperate the individual links of the weapon. The individual units are then linked to his control in a manner similar to Kankuro's control over his puppets via chakra-strings. Renji can control the blades in the air for a fairly long period of time before having to return the weapon to it's original form or drop the blades to allow himself rest.
Suiton: Nue Ha Kiri no Jutsu- Renji channels his chakra into his sword and sends water chakra along the blade. When he whips or spins the blade from there, piercing shots of needle-like water droplets are sent flying from his weapon. This weapon relies some on deception, as it is used primarily to even further extend the reach of his weapon and strike a foe who has assumed to dodge the initial attack. However, it can also be used to simply blanket an area with an indescriminate offensive rain.
Suiton: Suinuedan no Jutsu- A version of the Suiryuudan no Jutsu using his Zabimaru. A powerful force of water in the shape of a snake sails down the length of his weapon as he whips it forward. Renji himself is coverred in a baboon-shaped cloak of water from which the snake extends. This is the technique Renji prefers to do over the usual Suiryuudan no Jutsu, because with Zabimaru he is capable of forming a much deadlier attack than he is able to do simply on his own. However, just because this is more powerful than he is able to do without his sword, it should not be assumed that it is particularly stronger than Kakashi's Suiryuudan or Kisame's Suikoudan... it would probably a comparable level technique, the only difference is that the weapon is additionally concealed within the force of the water attack.
Zabimaru Hoeru no Jutsu- After summoning the spirit of Zabimaru he can rechannel it through the weapon itself to "Unseal" Zabimaru. This manifests a transformed weapon over the actual weapon used as the medium for the technique, using mostly Zabimaru's chakra and little of Renji's own. The transformed weapon is an enormous skeletal snake form that can serve as both offense and defense by striking and coiling around Renji at the same time. Though this form itself does little to drain Renji's chakra, he must still use his chakra to control the movements of the weapon, meaning it drains him just as much as it normally would. In addition, using it too long or trying to deflect too powerful an attack can damage the "spirit" of Zabimaru and cause damage to the weapon itself.
Bankai no Yari- A technique developped by the Kuchiki clan that Renji masterred. This is a controlled manipulation of chakra through the gates of the body. Essentially when a body is getting worn out, this technique offers a master the ability to push past the physical limitations by using the normally untapped chakra to refresh and empower oneself. Because it's usually not used before a master is near the point of exhaustion, this can actually be more dangerous than the normal opening of the gates seen used by Gai and Lee.
Shunken- While all Swordsmen are trained well beyond what is considerred normal human physical strength, the Shunken style allows the focus of chakra into a strike for the simulation of even greater strength. However, this is a dangerous style to practice if you do not master it, as the exertion of chakra in a strike in addition to the physical movement can leave one even more open should an attack be blocked or deflected. While originally developped as a hand-to-hand Taijutsu analogous to Gouken, Renji can also use his knowledge of this style to swing his sword with increased strength in the swings as well, allowing him to cut easily through apparently fortified structures.  Background: Tendou Soun was once in a 3man cell with Saotome Ranma's father. They worked closely together until Ranma, and Soun's own daughter Akane, were almost 5 years old. Genma, his friend, was killed during a mission because Soun was unable to save him, a fact that Soun always blamed himself for. As such, he vowed to watch over Ranma to ensure that he grew into a man as brave and strong as his father. It is his hidden shame that Ranma is actually now a girl.
His relationship with his own family is closer but somewhat similarly tragic. Shortly after his third daughter was born, his wife, the mother of all three girls, died of illness leaving him to raise three girls by himself. He is closest with his eldest daughter, while the middle girl is somewhat distant and cold to everyone. However, he is secretly proudest of his youngest daughter, Akane. Akane is not only the only one of his girls to actually become a kunoichi, but that she managed to become a Chuunin already. When he hears words of praise about her, he often puffs himself up and walks more proudly. Likewise when he hears anything condemning her for something he is equally defensive.
Like his three Genin, he is also a master of Musabetsu Kakuto style, particularly attributes alligned with the Rabbit. However, Soun is also knoweldgable of other aspects of his art including several "hidden" schools of the style, including Dog form, Bear form, and Elephant. He is more capable with the style's physical aspects as opposed to the "Emotional Elements" that fuel some of the more powerful attacks used by Ranma and his daughter.
Socially he is somewhat comical. Usually he comes off as fairly laid back until the need to defend his honor comes in, at which point he will jump into action. He is slow to make real enemies and quick to forgive making him popular with other people, even if none of them are really close. However, if he feels another woman is flirting with him he gets akward and avoids the situation. He still loves his dead wife after almost 13 years, and is not yet ready to date again. Jutsu List: As a genjutsu and taijutsu specialist, Soun is not especially limited to the jutsu shown, but the techniques demonstrated are about the extent of his range. He can also manifest various lesser illusions, as well as various taijutsu combinations.
Kuchiyose no Jutsu: Rabbits- The ability to summon rabbits. He usually relies only on a single rabbit that he is closest to amongst the Rabbit clan, a white rabbit named Yojimbo.
Jusenkyou no Jutsu: Rabbit- Soun has the ability to turn into a rabbit, or to partially transform himself into a rabbit man. While partially transforming himself may give him an incredible boost in chakra, speed and agility... he also has to manifest rabbit ears and a tail, making it extremely embarassing. Soun doesn't like to use this technique unless absolutely necessary, and would prefer to kill anybody who saw him do so.
Musabetsu Kakuto Usagiken- His fighting style, particularly the form of the rabbit. His best advantage is his speed in this style, able to keep up with even the likes of Maito Gai with relatively little effort. However, his strength is not signifigantly enhanced in any way by practicing this style, so unlike Gai he isn't likely punching through a concrete wall any time soon.
Usashuriken no Jutsu- Soun charges his chakra into several shuriken before throwing them. They bounce around rather than merely stick into objects, both evading other shuriken and trying to get to an enemy. This technique makes deflecting shuriken thrown by Soun especially difficult, as even when blocked the shuriken in question may bounce it's way back. It can require additional focus, however, if Soun is using the technique on too many shuriken at once.
Genjutsu- Jigoku no Rei- Soun forms a genjutsu that invokes the images of Shinigami and various spirits of hell attacking his enemy. It is a very advanced Genjutsu and he will often make it look like he is using a Kuchiyose no Jutsu to summon the spirits. In fact he locks the enemy in the illusion and then summons various rabbits to attack in the spirits' place so that the enemy thinks they are fighting monsters.
Genjutsu- Nakidashimasu- Soun forms an advanced genjutsu that replicates some of the saddest memories anybody could ever have. However, since he lacks the insight of something like the Sharingan, he is unable to invoke anything particularly personal about his target unless he knows them. RP Challenge:
