((Come one come all! This is open to each and everyone! So jump right in no matter what page we're on, be it pg.1 or pg.50 ^W^))  Theodore flew throw the clear skys above, not a care in the world. Not like he should though, this Senrei was as free as a bird and wanted to keep it that way. He danced through the sky with back spins and barrile rolls. This was a beautiful day and he was going to make the most of it well he could.

The dark feathered senrei walked serenely upon the forest grounds as she found the day was slow and beautiful. She enjoyed the shade of the forest trees as they guarded her from the hot beams of the sun. Her dark red optics scanned the forest floor as she spotted tree roots sticking out of the ground, fallen green leaves that had already started the decaying process, and the lush green grass on which she walked upon. Her pinions were tucked neatly and tightly against her small frame as she found that it was tiring to keep them outstretched since she was not flying.
Though her attention turned to that of a shadow that passed over a small opening in front of her. It was a fast blur of a shadow but that was all she needed to notice what type of creature made it. The female raised her head slightly to catch a hint of a purple senrei who seemed to play by itself in the sky. A small chuckle let out as she watched from below.

The purple and peach Senrei had been flying about for a few hours. His wings where getting tired and weak. I need to work out more. He thought to him self and chuckled as he made his decent to the ground below.
He spotted a clearing in the center of the jungle that he could made his landing on. He tucked his purple and peach wings in and dive bombed towards it, spreading them wide again at the last moment for a soft landing. He touched down on the soft lushes grass and folded his wings in against his sides after a good stretch. The soft grass seemed so inviting so Theo laid down for a rest.

Minerva had let herself lay down upon the inviting ground but her head was still raised as she watched the acrobatic-like senrei in the sky. Her dark pelt nearly blended in with the shade so she made a guess that the other could not see her. It was only a little while before the purple and peach male made his descent upon the ground, though quite fast. Minerva could already predict what his personality might be from the daring feats he tried in the sky. A slight grin formed as she waited patiently for the male to land.
With a trot, she approached the other with out fear of being turned away. For a second her dark red hues had become blinded by the sun's harsh beams but her vision soon became crystal clear once more. She stopped about five feet away from the other and had a mischevious thought go through her head. Why not sneak up on him, apparently he seemed tired so this would be a perfect oppurtunity.
Minerva waited a second to see if the other would acknowledge her presence or if he had already fallen into slumber.

Theodore's ears twitched like a bug had just land on them and he was flicking it off. His sapphire eyes opened as he head something coming up behind him. He wondered what it could have been. A Senrei was as large as a panther so what would want to tangle with him? He laid still and waited.

After waiting for a couple of seconds, the only noticeable movement of the other was his ears, which twitched. Minerva breathed very quietly to the point where she only allowed herself to take in a little bit of air at a time and released it slowly. So her target was sleeping then. A sly grin now transformed on her beak as she made sure that the other senrei was indeed sleeping. She moved ever so slightly like a large cat might when hunting down large prey.
Her shoulders were now hunched as her upper body was lowered nearer to the ground to give her an advantage. The dark wings upon her small back were tucked in tighter and her tail feather twitched ever so slightly. With a couple shakes of her rump, Minerva allowed all her acquired potential energy to change into kinetic energy. Her muscles tightened in her hind legs as she used them to jump at her prey.
"Hah!" she exclaimed with a small, yet clear voice as she was nearly on top of her victim in her jump.

The whole time Theodore was listening to the sounds the grass made as it was being stepped upon. Was this thing really going to attack him? He heard a 'Hah' it sounded a bit like a battle cry. He rolled over into his back just in time to catch something black on his extended paws.
His wings where spread out along the grass to help keep him stable, he's tail swayed in the grass. He got a good look at the black thing now, which wasn't all black. It had some red markings on it too. "Why ello there poppet." He grind, looks like today was his day. The girls where just throwing them self's at him.

The female noticed her 'victim' turn onto his back as she was in midair. How could she have faltered in her plan. Her target was not supposed to know she was there. Her jump was ended when her body was caught by the larger senrei's paws. A look of shock penetrated her previous visage and was then replaced by a small frown. This did not please her.
Her dark red hues took in the sight before her as her vision became nothing but purple, violet, and peach colors. Though the coloration was a bit odd, she noticed the pretty swirls that decorated most of the male's body. Somewhat feminine but she would not tease the male about this since her own feathers made her appear masculine. Then to snap her out of her thoughts, the male beneath her spoke a greeting. She eyed him suspiciously after the wierd choice of wording and that grin he gave. Then she allowed the scene to set into her mind.
"Let me go, " she responded.
Her dark red orbs looked at him sternly as she was still. If she wiggled slightly then she might subject herself to a more awkward situation than she was in now.

"As you wish, lovely." He rolled on his his side slowly, letting her paws touch the ground before he let go of her all together. He wasn't following an order that was given by a pretty lady. He was letting her go so he could have a better look at her. He rolled all the way onto his paws and stood up. He looked her over slowly, she was pretty enough but her fur was a little dark for his likings. Her markings more then made up for that though. "So lovely lady, may I ask why you where trying to tackle me? Be honest, it was my hansom face wasn't it?" He joked the last part but the first part was honest enough. He did want to know why she would just randomly tackle someone.

Minerva listened to the male and waited for him to do as she wished. Soon enough, she felt the male beneath her move slightly and her once still body came to life as she stood upon the ground. The female took a couple of steps away from the male to give him room to move. She watched him cautiously as he stood up and noticed that he was taller than her. He seemed so much shorter when he was laying upon the ground but she should have known he would be taller. All males were.
A smile automatically presented itself to the male as he called her lovely. She tilted her head slightly as he gave the second part of his question.
Trying to charm me is he?
"For the fun of it I guess. At first I noticed your acrobatic abilities in the sky. Your quite gifted you know. Though then again there are so few Senrei that are willing to actually have fun in the sky and show off. Most of them are so serious," she replied jovially but muttered the last sentence.

The male raised a feathery eye brow at her. So she had been watching him as he had his fun in the sky. He started to wonder what she was talking about now. About how so little Senrei where willing to have fun in the sky. He had never thought about it before but now that it had been spoken out loud he knew it was a sad truth. A truth he would have nothing to do with. He gazed at her again will a new shine in his eyes. "So then lovely, would you like to join me in the sky?" He asked her as he wore a playful grin.

A soft sigh escaped the female as the words she had spoken echoed in her head. Minerva glanced up at the male as he seemed to have let the words sink in as well. His facial expression gave away that her words were a known fact. A small smile formed as she tried to raise the spirit of the atmosphere. What came next was unexpected.
Her dark orbs caught the ray of light that now sparkled in the male's purple hues. Minerva allowed her smile to grow as he spoke about joining him in the sky. The very thought of flying with someone else was enlightening. None of her friends wanted to fly since they thought the concept was useless and that the wings were for show.
"I would love to," answered the darker feathered senrei as she moved her body so that it faced the same direction as the male, who was only a couple of feet away from her.
She made sure to give him and herself space for their wingspan so that they did not clash. Her head moved to face him as she waited for his word of when to start.

"Are you turning this into a race?" He asked the female as he watched her move. Her body language made it seem like she wanted to or so that is how the others looked when they wanted too. She seemed playful enough but he thought it better to ask and be sure rather then just blow her out of the watcher. He crouched low to the ground, his legs where like coiled springs, just waiting to release. His large purple wings spread up towards the sky at the ready. "First one to the clouds wins?" He grinned.

Minerva gave a quick look of surprise as the male figured her intentions. She quickly reposed herself, giving off a more elegant appeal.
"Me, race? I would never! How dare you bring up such a useless thing," she jabbed, hiding her playfulness pretty well. "I think it would be one-sided anyway with a senrei such as yourself. Unless..."
Her cliffhanger was the part that gave her away since her tone changed immediately into a jest. She quickly took the same position of the male but pushed her muscles so that she started to sprint across the ground. Her four paws hit the ground quickly and softly until it came to a point where she jumped into the air. There were no trees around her to block her wingspan and so she spread them while jumping. A sudden grace and poise took over her frame as her front paws were tucked in slightly and her back legs were still in the same position as she had jumped.
She took the running start since it would take less energy than actually jumping into the air, like the male seemed positioned to do. Her dark pinions whipped the air mercilessly but with rhythm. Minerva turned her head to see if the male had gotten over the surprise and to know how far ahead she was. If he hadn't already caught up to her.

Theo gazed at her disappearing figure, a goofy happy look covered his face but all the same a shock is what he felt. "The little cheat." He chuckled to him self but if thats the way she wanted it then fine with him.
He waited a little while longer, giving her a good head start. He knew he was a great flier because he did it every day and was always pushing him self. So this should be a piece of cake right? Or so he thought.
His muscles released at once with such force, nuh of it was graceful. He beat his powerful wings as hard as he could to work up his speed as soon as his paws had left the ground. He clime straight up, it was hard work and he started to huff a bit earlier then he thought he would have.
