T i f a [ ] I'm almost through Medium on Guitar Hero III. It's going to take a long time for me to adjust to Hard mode. sweatdrop [ ] ya, hard on GH3 is pretty rough, but im using Rock Band as practice since it's songs ease you into the other modes better, and i can play a few songs on expert too xD...but only the easy ones so far

oh, and a tip
yes, it DOES benefit to try and learn to play using your pinky, but do this alot in medium...once you get the hang of using your pinky properly...stop using it and focus on your three main fingers, and slide to hit the blue note, this kind of practice helps alot in hard since you WILL have to slide to hit orange/green

[ ] I used my pinky for the blue note the entire time in Medium. I'm currently practicing sliding my hand a bit, but the first few songs are definitely hard to ease into from Medium. Good thing that I'm not done with all of the songs yet, or I'd be screwed. [ ]

you should either get GH2 or Rockband, those have BETTER (not easier or harder) medium/hard songs, and they are better to get used to, since alot of songs in GH3 are hella impossible Dx

[ ] I plan on eventually getting GH and GHII, but I figure that if I take the time to get used to GHIII's Hard songs, it'll make me that much better, even if it takes longer. At least there's a practice mode where you can just practice certain parts of the song and have the option of slowing it down. I was amusing myself with playing a small portion of one of the starting Hard songs on slowest. xd
EDIT: Whoa, I didn't think that Rock Band was on PS2. No way I'll be affording that thing anytime soon. [ ]

I'm stuck on Knights of Cydonia and Before I forget on hard. I'll use my pinky all the time, but its hard for me to get my middle finger down on the red after playing alot of blue and orange.

[ ] I'm trying to finish off Knights of Cydonia, The Number of the Beast, One, and Raining Blood (Psh, can't even get more than 4 stars on this song in Easy mode) on Medium. I try to 5-star all of the songs. I've been working on the first tier of Hard mode and beat Hit Me With Your Best Shot and Slow Ride. I'm practicing sliding my hand and not necessarily assigning certain fingers to the keys. [ ]
