So since I want this pepper project thing to be seriously spot on and perfect I am going to be asking for art f**'s help in all stages
so here is my newww idea
User Image
I want to have the girl in the center in a sort of pensive setting with a waterfall behind her
but
I have no plausible explanation for why she'd be floating there
I suppose there could be a jutting rock or perhaps something more interesting?
Also if I were to take boog's suggestion and change perspective slightly I was thinking of tilting the view slightly down towards the bottom of the waterfall, but I'm really not very good at drawing that kind of perspective so if you think that would be a better perspective would you be so kind as to give me a quick sketch so I can visualize where everything goes?

She is, so I think the smallness is because I didn't really properly indicate that they were forward a bit so they'd be rotated closer toward her body
Would they still seem too small with that in mind?

The shoulders also looked odd to me at first but after sitting like that in front of a mirror with my arms like that they do roll down a bit and hollow my chest across the breast bone.

Be careful not to draw the shoulders both sticking out as if pulled back and rolled down and pulled forward, you have a protrusion on the screen right shoulder that doesn't look right.

Also the waist dips in a little to dramatically on the screen left and your belly isn't completely flat when cross legged, it looks like she is holding her breath.

The shortening of the for arms is good and the hands while only a sketch look promising. The face is a little vacant and doll like but then lots of people like that smile

well i think that you could ah show this through a little more line, also i think you should tilt her collarbone up just a tiny bit, in order to really make the pose clear.

but what do i know heh sweatdrop

I was going to say something like this, but you know how I am about faces. Regardless of the body, the face is a turn-off to me. It's a little asymmetrical and the lineart isn't elegant. Maybe this is something you'll fix in the color stage? Also, I was under the impression the theme of the Pepper Project required you to maintain her strange headphone-like headgear. I could be wrong?

She has little headphones in the lineart if you can't tell, basically as long as she has red things stuck to her ears it's pepper as far as the examples have led me to believe
I did use a reference picture
Also the lineart is more conceptual, it's usually a layer that I color over/under with it at low opacity and end up deleting later

As far as face symmetry goes I think the lips are making it look tilted now that I look at it
And as far as expressions idk
I think I just see more in the slightest turns and changes than other people but I'll try to push it a bit farther, I'm just a fan of subtlety and slightly wider eyes and an upturned lip corner mean the world to me, I don't think someone has to be making a slightly modified version of this face neutral to seem serious or pensive

Amen. Maybe look up meditation poses and draw with those in mind.
