Time of Day: Mid-day
Weather: Lightly cloudy

Sevina yawned as she stood up, the day had been nice for a nap, but now the snake around her neck, which she had named ochi was insisting to go hunting, giving out loud hisses and a screeching whining sound to wake her up. "Fine..." She mumbled as she began to sniff around for sign of deer or birds.

Dan sat there out in the open, right above what was left of his meal. There was quite a lot of it that hadn't been eaten. But he was stuffed with what he had ate of it. "Hmm, what to do?" He questioned himself, as he didn't want to just waste it. Not sure what he wanted to do with it yet, he just sat over it. And had started to clean one his front paws, he was always used to bringing back big meals. But that was before his sister went away to start her own family. He then shook it off, and looked to see if anything was around him.

Sevina allowed Ochi (the snake xD) to smell the area. He turned his head in the direction of akill and hissed. "Carrion? While You get to hunt? No Fair Ochi, No Fair!" She teased as she set off in the direction of the kill. Ochi felt content about locating food and curled around her neck like a plump green necklace.
Once she got to the meal, she inspected the ulaay guarding it, hiding behind a bush, she took a step back and stepped on a branch. Damn. There goes the element of surprise.

Dan's ears perked up to the sound of the branch snapping, and quickly turned his head to where it came from. "Who's there?" He yelled out, expecting the other ulaya to answer. He was also hoping t would come out in the open, so he could see who was there.

Sevina Sighed as Ochi gave a loud hiss. She took a step out with her head high, trying to show some sort of confidence. She didnt speak, but allowed him to continue before she procedded (sp?) to talk to him, and maybe if she was lucky, have a bit of lunch.

Dan noticed what looked like a female ulaya, coming out from behind the bush. "Who are you" He quickly asked the new ulaya, as he still sat over his meal. Dan knew he had never meet this new ulaya before, and had him a bit on edge. As he had no idea how this ulaya was like, would it attack him? He didn't know, all he did was hope that this new ulaya was nice.

Sevina put on her fakest smile she could. "I'm Sevina." Ochi slowly made his way off her leg. Sevina looked up wearily. " So who're you?" She said looking at the vividly colored male.

He gave an un easy smile in return to hers. "My name is Dan" He answered her, still on edge over the situation. Not sure what to do, he put one of his paws on top of his food, and started to ask her another question. "You looking for something?" He asked, hoping she wouldn't use the word fight in response.

Ochi un-leashed his fury on a nest in the treetops, swallowing one of the eggs whole, then procedding to licking up the yollk from the others.
Sevina lookd to dan. "I'm looking for food, and pleasure to meet ya'~" She said giving a reassuring nod.

He gave a nod back at her, and gave another smile. "Having any luck?" He stupidly asked. Also wondering if he should offer what was left of his meal to her, if she wasn't able to find her own food.

"Sadly, I'm not." She said having a slight smirk on her face, as she heard her companion be attacked by the mother bird, only to stop suddenly as the tide turned and it grabbed it, wrapping around it and swallowing it. "Although my friend is having some luck." She said as her friend climbed back on her, re-loacting it's jaws. He let out a loud dis-approving hiss. "Shush, Ochi." She said softly , then looking back to dan.

Dan was a bit surprised to see that this new ulaya had a pet snake, it was something new for him. He's had to eat small harmless snakes before, but having them as pets gave him a different idea of snakes. "Why do you have a snake?" He quickly asked out of curiousity. "I mean one could eat a snake, but to have one as a pet?" He said, not thinking of how the snake would react to what he had said.

Sevina almost let out a gasp at the thought of eating her companion. "Well, my father kept a snake. So when i was younger, I found Ochi's egg and i cared for it myself. Until he hatched of course." She smiled as Ochi wraped around her neck loosely, looking more like a decorative baracelet then a actual snake.

Dan just shrugged it off. "I suppose if one wants to have it at as a pet, then there is nothing another can do to stop it. If you want a snake for a friend instead of a meal it's all up to you." He said as he lifted his paw back up to finish cleaning it off.

Sevina let out a soft sigh as her comanion reared up and attempted to strike Dan. "He can somewhat understand you, he's quite intelligent." Ochi let out a hiss as she nuzzled him, trying to calm him. She shrugged her shoulders.
