1) We are not attacking their beliefs, but the workings of the religion itself. The money draining, life-ruining, murderous money-making machine hidden behind the facade of a religion itself. Not their beliefs. Big difference. I will give proof if you need (sources cited, including IRS Affidavits).
2) It does possess ill-will. Not only to those who criticize it, but to its own followers, which in many cases people have died (http://whyaretheydead.net/)
3) I am not bigoted, you are, as many others, uninformed. But don't take my word for it at all. I am not so simple-minded. Investigate yourself, browse the web. see websites such as http://xenu.net, chat with ex-Scientologists, and read newspaper articles. Once you do, then you will make your own decisions.
Please, the next time do not accuse me of religious bigotry. I know what I am talking about, and I know what I am against.

Okay, I won't acuse you of bigotry, that was a bit harsh of me. Though, I would appreciate it if you kept your beleifs about scientologists off of Gaia. There are a lot of people who have the same beliefs as you on this matter, but just as many who are opposed. And then people like me who don't care what your beliefs are, but will like you for you, and don't like rants about the rights and wrongs of other cutures. Thank you.

This is not a question of beliefs. If a company was killing off its own employees in a factory in China, do I not have a right to express my outrage? If a Japanese company goes off whaling and killing whales off the coast of Australia under the guise of 'scientific research', Can I not share it?
I do not believe that people oppose my 'beliefs'. Scientology is a ruining the live, and in some cases, murdering people in the pretense of a religion. It is killing their own followers and those that criticize them both financially and literally.
I appreciate that you don't care about my 'beliefs', but a lot of other people do. A lot of other people are concerned and a lot of other people are ready and willing to do something. Do not confuse between defending someone's rights, which you THINK you are doing, and defending a cult that is dangerous, which you ARE doing.
I may be firm, but I really want you to understand that you are wrong, and you are protecting something which is wrong.
