im in choir at school. right now were preparing the song "shoshone lovesong" for a contest. and solo ensemble just finished up.

I'm in choir too! I sing soprano. I'm not confident enough to be part of a play, but our school is doing Peter Pan this year.

I'm on my school's chorus, which is practically the same as a choir to us (tenor and baritone, and loves it!). We're working with the Dance and Theatre Department to perform...
High School Musical!!!!!
I'm auditioning tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday, and hoping to get Troy or Ryan for my part!

I'm in Choir at school. We are doing a Jewish song called Zum Gali Gali. I plan to take my expirience into my Rock band. *Not the game*

Not the game- ur funny.
We sang All The Pretty Little Horses and the Frim Fram Sauce.
BORING! I wanna sing some Michelle Branch or Vannessa Carlton. No Doubt got some good sing-along songs too.

We recently just got done with auditions, and now i wait
The chorus recently performed Non Nobis Domine, Battle Hymn of the Republic, and I'll Stand. We had a lot of fun (love NNB!)
Now, about the tryouts.... We actually had to dance. I'm pretty good, but I forgot a lot of the steps, and I think I may not get the part I want...
Cross fingers an toes for me, pleezles. Need... back-up... about to... die... from... suspence... and... anxiety...

Oh yes... the anxiety of trying out!
I was just recently casted as Maria for our play Westside story. I could not sleep the night before. I was so nervous and anxious. I made myself sick. sweatdrop

At least I'm not the only one who has anxiety issues!
So, Anyone here used to being the only one in your entire choir who sings tenor. My block only has one boy (me...), and I'm stuck singing tenor by myself. It didn't work as well last semester, because i was a little self-conscious about my singing, but i seem to have gotten over that.
Today I find out who got the parts.... wish me luck xd confused

I'm in Chorus!!!
All my life, actually.
Best in County/Second in State.
So we do a High School Musical every year. For the past three years, It's been the best ones ever.
I've had Dr. Seuss(Seussical), Harold Hill(Music Man), and Phantom(Phantom Of The Opera).
This year we're doing the wizard of Oz, and I'm debating whether or not to audition... The only great songs are the female parts. D:

Right now for my concert choir we are learning songs called Selah, Conversions of Saul, and this other one i can't remember the name right now, lol
and for chamber choir we are learning, again another one i can't remember(it's in french *kill self*) and then Te Lucis (it has a longer name but we call it that for short) and No rocks a Cryin
So has anyone sang any of the songs?
BTW im a tenor, lol and when more then one tenor part preferably tenor 2 biggrin

Nope, I've never done any of those.
But, one you should all go and talk to the teacher about, Carmina Burana. I'm in loveee with that song. It's a little hard to learn, but when I sung, I got chills <333 Best song ever, with a talented enough chorus, of course. smile
I used to be a tenor sad *slams puberty* Now, depending on if it jumps, I can still sing tenor, but I'm more comfortable as Baritone/Bass.
