So I've been getting set to get my tattoo at the end of the month but, my friend is convinced because my skin is dark I should get a white tattoo
and Honestly while I've researched the hazards and the pros- and cons of getting one.
I've spoken to many people and emailed so many people O____O its ridiculous, to find out everything I need to know, but all the people I spoke to were white and mexican. Me being the first one in my family to get a tattoo, don't have any insight about what tattoos would look good on my skin tone
Anyone here have any good advice to give about tattoos and richer and/or darker complexion and tattoos in general

Judging by the picture alone, your skin is not "so" dark that ordinary black ink wouldn't look good. Black is tried and true. Talk to a perspective tattoo artist about what color you should get, if you don't already have your heart set on one. Get more than one opinion from artists who have inked dark-skinned people. Many artists and parlors have websites these days, and included in many of those websites' FAQs section is a question about dark skin and colored tattoos. Shop around and good luck!
