I AM HOLDING A POETRY CONTEST BEYOND YOUR WILDEST DREAMS! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS WRITE THE MOST SCARY POEM I HAVE EVER READ OR CAN WRITE!
RULES:
1:NO CURSE WORDS IN THE POEMS,I WANT TO KEEP THAT OUT
2:THE POEMS MUST BE GRUESOME,BLOODY....YOU GET MY POINT RIGHT?
3: NO COPYING...I'VE BEEN AROUND....I'LL KNOW IF IT'S NOT YOURS..
4:ONE PER PERSON....SO DO THE BEST YOU CAN!!!
5: ENJOY!!!
PRIZES:
1ST GETS 20K
2ND GETS 10K
3RD GETS 5K
THE MOST FREAKISH SCARY POEM GETS

[poems don't have to rhyme...and this one...well it doesn't. I'm not even sure if it is a poem. But I got an award for it in school so why not.]
Not what it seems to be
As I lay here on the floor,
I look around the room.
A pool of blood surrounds me,
it's splattered on the walls too.
I wonder what happened,
as I feel a pain in my chest.
Someone in the distance starts to scream,
I can hear her crying.
I wonder who she is,
what could have gone wrong...
I look to my right and see her on the floor.
Her hair covers her face,
everything but her eyes
Blood spills from her chest in waves with each breath
as her face turns ghostly white.
She looks confused
scared, worried and in pain.
I wonder if she's dieing...
I reach out to her
and she reaches back.
Inches apart and yet more blood...
I start to cry,
so does she
but then I realize that dieing girl
is in a mirror
and that dieing girl...is me.
[the poem it's self isn't all that scary, but imagine watching your self dieing. That is pretty scary]]

I hear a voice
It cries out to me
wondering
is there any hope?
I follow this noise
It leads me
To a mountain peak
Where time seems halted
I lie here listening
To the soothing voice
It brings me rest
That of which I have never known
The hours waste away
Its already dark
Yet I do not want to leave
This voice, its drawn me in...
Now I know
Far too late, sadly
This voice is a siren
And I am but its meal.
(I wrote this a while ago, this is probably one of my more scary poems, since I won't have time to write up a scary one. =/ )

kikiyo_hoshiko @:mousetraps....i think it's wonderful!...you had me drawn into your words... that's what im looking for. 3nodding @:yogurt0man....it really didn't capture me...it's written well.... I'm glad i entered that one instead of my one about the Crow. It was more sad then scary. smile

Well since there are only two...well if I make one and no one else postes another one...then I will be a show in for third!!!!
