Merlyn was biting off her ammo. "Damn damn damn!!" she said as lead balls flew past her ears. "Why the hell did i sign up for this!" She aimed her sharps and shot. She ducked under a tree trunck and more lead balls were shot at her.

Mathius sits down as he bites off his last shot and loads..."I dont even know why I am fighting, one minute, I am on the border of the the U.S.A. and the rebellion, the next, I am fighting for the communist (Insert foul name here)...I cant just wave my hands and say hey I wanna fight with you guys..."he considers his options...he tears off a sleeve of his shirt and ties it to his loader...he puts it above the car hoping the soldiers would understand, but they just shot it...He tried again and again until he had no shirt left.

Isha was overlooking the battle field with some of his superiors, having just been raised to Major in the special ops. He saw Merlyn running across the battlefield and the more senior officers yelling for her to come back, he also noticed that she was quick and dodged what looked like every shot. Isha pointed her out to his direct superior,"that one, whats he doing, he must know he'll be broken down for refusing to heed orders."

"Captain, a bit brash but level-headed, good soldier," the colonel said.

"I was thinking hes quite quick," Isha said,"might make a good addition to the special corps."

"possibly, but you'd have to ask him yourself, wait until he gets back and i'll set up a meeting with him and his superiors." the colonel said before walking away.

Isha watched the figure for a second before following the colonel.
