"This is the song that doesn't end, yes it goes on and on my friend, some people, started singin' it not knowing what it was and they'll continue singin' it forever just because this is the..." The usual melodic tones of the young orange tabby leopard rang through the trees, todays song rang of fun and mischeif, he was clearly in a happy mood.
Bouncing through the undergrowth the orange eyed male landed spread eagled before the pool he had been heading for. All of this repetetive singing was thirsty work. Lowering his head he lapped greedily from the cool clear waters oblivious to if anyone else was around.
He infact hoped someone was around, he did so enjoy an audience.

Concealed behind a few nicely configured branches set low above the pool was at least one member of his audience. Lau Ki's brown ears perked as the repetitive song came closer and closer to her location, sounding all the more familiar with each beat. Hm, she hadn't heard the song before but the voice, yes ... that was the one that did.
Abandoning her previous action of cleaning and monitoring the pool for silly prey that would venture over - making for a quick snack - Lau turned her attention to the owner of the voice, more curious to see why she knew it. She raised her darker paw to lower a few branches as best she could with little sound. Keen green eyes grew growing a little at the sight.
Aa, Soft Steps. She chuckled, watching him in silence as he lapped at the water below her. "Fancy meeting you here ~" She said in a soft tone, letting it ring out throughout the trees to not give away her position just yet.

Beaus ears flickered upwards as he heard the voice echoeing through the trees, he lifted his head and smiled searching the treeline for the familiar face. "I do beleive I hear a femme I know so well, won't you grace me with your precence or do I have to sing you from your hiding place?" He chuckles softly those deep dark eyes shimmering with a touch of glee.
His long tail swished as he waited for her reply, he would be happy to sing her a song to call her from her leafy perch, in fact he acctually hoped she would ask him to, he did so enjoy using the one talent he posessed to impress people.

Lau chuckled softly again, pushing a few more branches out of her way and scooting a little further up to smile down upon him properly. Her tail uncurled from the branch it had been resting on to fall into a rhythmic swing back and forth above him. "No serenade first? I'm a little hurt, Soft Steps." Her smile turned playful as she stretched a paw out.

The tabby male chuckled happily his dark eyes shimmering with the dappled light which filtered from above. he smiled and rested on his back legs one paw on his chest and the other reaching out for the now partially visable female.
"I'm always so alone without you, maybe you'll be lonesome too..Ohhh, fly the ocean in a silvery plane, see the jungle when it's wet with rain, just remember til your home again, you belong to me." He grinned roguishly his tail swishing and causing a soft almost tuneful swish of the undergrowth.

Aa, just as she could have expected from the last time she had come across the other leopard. Lau's playful smile only brightened as she watched his little performance, her tail now swaying in step with his melody.
"That's more like it ~ it would have been a felt off to request a song really." Her eyes closed slightly, giving her smile a more cunning look as she pulled herself from the branches she was laying on to then spring off her perch to the soft ground below. With gentle steps, the multi-brown leopardess glided closer to him. "It's been a while ~"

The deep orange leopard chuckled quietly as he watched her step down from the foliage with lythe steps. "Well i didn't want to dissapoint you." he grins putting his forepaws to the ground. "yes miss lau it seems like an eternity since we last danced. i thought perhaps you had been a wonderful dream that my subconcious had made up to encourage my songs." he paused for a moment flickering his tail a few tmes before he continued. "Then, perhaps you are a dream, I do so enjoy serenading others while i sleep."
he chuckled lightly his lips turned in a cheery grin. "If so I'm glad I'm having this dream again I seem to remember our last meeting was alot of fun." he puurred.

And still the charmer it seemed, Lau thought to herself as she slowly made her way closer towards him with graceful strides. The leopardess came to a soft halt in front of him, smile still gracing her face as he complimented her. "It has indeed been a while, I was wondering if you would live up to your promise of another dance."
Lau chuckled and rolled her eyes at his continued talks of dreams and herself. Aa, males. She shook her head in a playful manner, "Goodness, I wouldn't say I was a dream," She raised a paw to briefly brush against her chest, "Dreams don't look this fabulous ~ but if you're disappointed you can try again in this reality." She chuckled again, taking a few careful steps towards him to brush a shoulder against his.

Beau grinned roguishly his dark orange eyes looking her over as he pursed his lips. "Well i try never to break a promise to a lady." he gave her a wink pressing against her shoulder as she strolled up to him.
"Another dance?Well you know I have plenty of moves my dearest Lau." he chuckled softly. "Perhaps realisty is better than dreaming, but the best songs come from dreams I find." He puurrs then letting a few more notes of the song he had sung to her roll over his lips. "Just remember when a dream appars, you belong to me."

"As a Gentleman shouldn't, or you'd lose all your fair ladies." The leopardess teased in a gentle tone as she circled around him, eyes half closed as she glanced upon him ever so often through her rotation.
Lau chuckled under her breathe over their conversation, innuendos seemed abound even if not intentionally but it seemed steering that way at least to her. Her long tail swished playfully in the air as she stopped once again at his side, his new song curling her smile even more. "Always fitting with the ballads as well, Soft Steps. But a dance, you did promise and I am curious to what you else you have with that lean body and paws you call your own besides just the grace and charming songs."

To say that the tabby leopard wa snot a little taken aback would be a false statement, but he never showed it to the female leopard, instead he gave a wink and perched on his back legs holding out a paw and tilting her chin towards him.
"Please remember, I still want you, and incase, you wonder why, well just wake up, kiss the goodlife good byee." He grinned playfully leaning forwards and planting a gentle lick on the tip of her nose.
"I'm sure your own body has other treicks besides light paws." He puurred letting his paws drop to the ground as he padded past her his tail held at a cocky angle. "Perhaps those moves though are not quite fitting on a hunting trail, hmm?" He raised a curious brow.
"I can show you the world, shining shimering, splendid, tell me princess no when did you last let your heart decide? i can open your eyes, take you wonder by wonder, over side ways and under, on a magic carpet ride, a whole new world.." He trailed waiting to see if Lau would follow him or if she would simply wander off, to be met another time, in another place.

Lau herself was surprised as well from his action, and she stood blinking and a little dazed after he licked her nose like that. She hadn't expected him to take her tone and playful jests that far and she was feeling her face getting a little hot from the sign of affection. Huh. She continued to blink silently before she began to regain her composure, maw curling back into a playful smile.
The leopardess tilted her head to the side, matching the look he had thrown earlier, "Tricks? Oh my dear Soft Steps.. you wouldn't believe the tricks I possess," she chuckled, not believing the cliche she had thrown to him. She sighed lightly, picking her feet up and softly padded after him, maintaining her grace as she caught up to him.
"And they would indeed be more fitting elsewhere," Lau continued in a low tone as soon as she was closer, nudging Beau's shoulder as she followed closely.
