I was looking through an old cookery book and I found this recipe by Debbie Bray:
Elephant stew
Ingredients: 1 elephant Brown gravy Salt and pepper to taste 2 rabbits (opt.)
Cut elephant into bite-sized pieces. Cover with brown gravy. Cook over a kerosene fire for about 4 weeks. This will serve 3800 people. If more are expected, 2 rabbits may be added. Do this only if necessary, as most people do not like to find hare in their stew.
