It was time to change things. Mother was starting to talk about moving away from the meadow that they shared with other pegasi in order to find somewhere safer. Choc-Mint didn't understand why she was so concerned. Sure, there were rumors about foals disappearing but they might of just died from illness. Which was odd in itself, there were usually enough unicorns around to heal sickly foals. It was time to gather some of the braver pegasi together and see what really was going on. It may mean looking over the area where the demonic teen had come from, something he really didn't want to do. But maybe if mother was right, they might have to fly over that grey field again. But it couldn't be anything to do with those two-legged beings could it? They all seemed so peaceful the few times he had sneaked off to see them. He had a feeling of foreboding over what he felt must be done. What was he getting himself in for? Feel free to respond in here, make it a mini-RP This is Meta-plot related. I will respond once per day to give everyone time to join in

"So when they all leave you-" "Follow them, I know Via. We've been over this a hundred times!" Ioni sighed heavily, staring at his spotted friend with a look of annoyance. Via grinned with excitement. "Yeah, yeah, I know, but I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget." She replied as she trotted across the meadow, Ioni following her at a slower pace. "And be careful, alright?" Ioni nodded, whispering for her to be quieter as they neared some other unisus. If someone found out about their plan everything would get messed up.

((OOC: Pyua and Jezabelle))
The sounds of hooves in tandem carried over the hillside in the uneven terrain where the wide open meadows gave way to the scrublands and the forest. A pair of adult pegausi walked side by side. Usually the two old friend would have filled the mid-morning air with laughter and chatter, but today they were silent.
Pyua's usually sweet, soft face was tense with stress, and she ruffled her wing feathers anxiously. The warm sun was already bearing down, warming her like a brick in the sun but today she took no notice. There were more important things on her mind.
Jezabelle kept in stride with her dear friend, a perfect contrast. She was dark as her friend was light in color and there was no motherly worry clinging to her bright violet eyes, only a whiplash harsh anger that she almost seemed to vibrate with. She snorted and stopped suddenly when she inhaled again. The scent of foal was on the wind A tiny spark of hope leapt in Pyua's eyes.
"Efram? Efram, are you there? Please come out. We aren't mad."
"Speak for yourself,"Jeza muttered under her breath.

Kaali snorted; the air was scented with worry and concern. He frowned; tossed his head, raising from where he had been curled up with his younger friend, Friahna. The movement awoke her completely, and she looked up; her younger eyes filled with the smallest hint of sleep. She let out a yawn as she watched the large male; feeling a twinge inside as she looked at his huge form. "What is it?" she asked; filled with a little concern. She had never seen him this way. "I... I don't know." The large male's deep voice was filled with concern; and was hesitant. He took a small step forward; his huge hoof scooping up a small pile of foliage. The answer to what happened when I was a child, maybe? Why he even thought of that as a possibility, he didn't know. But he was compelled to find the source of this "concern", one way or another. He stepped out from the trees; unaware of the disgruntled female behind him.
-----------------
Niru was completely unaware of what was going on around him. The foal was simply curled up in a patch of sunlight; his ears twisting this way and that, as he simply enjoyed the surroundings. Had he known, his natural curiosity would no doubt have got him into trouble with the adults; especially as he'd lost his only family member, a sibling. It was likely he'd start paying attention to the manic feel to the air, however- once he finished his sunbathing.
((OOC: Just wanted the chance to get all three of 'em in there. Was even considering Liahn and Kahn, but thought that would be overkill. xD ))

Mother was sleeping, it was time to make his move. Choc-Mint stepped very carefully as he moved away from her, once he reached what he thought was a safe distance away, he bucked and took off at a canter. Finally he came to a place to rest, not far from a forested patch and beside a quiet stream. He dipped his muzzle in to drink, ears twitching, listening out for any sound. His spine prickled uneasily, and he resisted the urge to shudder. His mind was racing, unsure of how he was going to get a group of pegasi together.

Kaali emerged from the trees; the tiny unicorn by his shoulder. He noticed a green and brown male sipping from the stream; the alignment of his shoulders and wings showing tension. Kaali frowned, wondering if he was the reason for the tension in the air or if the other pegasus was just noticing it as well. He noticed Friahna melt into the shadows, in that way that only she could; and he stepped forward without her, letting his large hooves break twigs underneath his weight to announce his presence. He also bent to drink from the stream; letting the other pegasus choose whether or not to start a conversation.

Balue pushed pass the long grasses that brushed his coat, looking carefully around himself for any other young ones; they seemed rather rare these last few days. Due partially to the over-protective adults, it drove him mad to think of sleeping by the herd all day. No way, not for this grand explorer. The dark foal spotted movement ahead. After feverishly straining his eyes to see them clearer, the purple-patterned foal quickly gave up and began to head their direction.

Via turned, her ears perked as she noted the sounds of several other unisus. She grinned as she spotted a young male about her own age and trotted over, sneakiness forgotten. "Hey! What's your name?" The spotted foal asked, coming to a stop infront of the purple and black foal.
Ioni meanwhile turned at a worried mare's voice, glancing back toward his adopted sister before he silently moved to find her. "Who's Efram?" He asked curiously as he spotted the pegasus, frowning.

Choc-Mint raised his head at the male that dipped his head beside his. Unsure of what to do, he decided that a polite greeting might work. But what if this pegasus also knew that something was wrong? He had more questions that answers running through his head and he hoped that it wasn't as serious as he thought. "Hello" he started with, "What brings you here?"

Kaali bowed his head; turning to groom one wing as he thought. "I'm not sure I can give you a decent answer," he said finally. "The air seems..." He struggled; his vocabulary and speech unpracticed. He finally tried again to express the feeling of unrest in his chest. "The air feels thick in my chest when I breathe." Kaali's eyes were briefly pulled from the face of the other male when a flicker of movement attracted them to the shape of the tiny unicorn stood the other side of the green pegasus.

Via turned her attention from the foal that hadn't answered her, to the two stallions drinking from the stream. The spotted foal crept over to listen to them, tilting her head as she heard their quiet words. So even these big pegasus were nervous? Maybe Ioni sneaking along wasn't such a good idea... She moved forward, coming to a stop next to the brown and green pegasus. "There are bad things here?" She asked him quietly, shifting nervously from her right legs to her left. Bad things in this land? But why?

Balue's ears flickered with excitement at the unknown voice. "I'm Balue!" He exclaimed as he bounded over towards her side. "What do you think is going on with everyone?" He asked in a hushed tone, unsure of the potential danger around them. "Everyone seems as thought they're...Waiting.." he stated as he looked around and the emerging figures around them. "But waiting for what?"

"I'm Via. It's nice to meet you Balue." The spotted foal said, before frowning. "I don't know. Some kids our age are missing and I think there are bad things around here. I'm worried..." She said, glancing back to the pegasus. "My mom's worried too. I hope she won't make me and Ioni stay home."

Choc-mint nodded at the other pegasus thoughtfully. "You're not the only one feeling that way. something is wrong and I want to know what." His attention was also drawn to the foals and he frowned in concern. Had this feeling of unrest spread to foals as well?
"Maybe we should do something. My mother thinks it's something to do with the two-legged creatures in the grey city, but I think it may be different. Oh, by the way, I'm Choc-Mint"

The small unicorn behind Choc-mint opened her mouth; about to exclaim, ask if there was any way for her to get down there. Then she frowned and looked down at her swelling sides- that may not be the wisest thing, given the possibility that she was carrying Kaali's young... But she spoke anyway, just as the large pegasus opened his mouth too. "Is there any way for- for those like me to get down there? I want to help- I want to go down there, I want to see it for myself. And you might need a healer." She didn't speak of the burning desire in her chest to roam down there; to meet the one who had watched over her as a youngster. She couldn't have put it into words anyway.
Kaali opened his mouth to object; but saw the gleam in her ruby eyes. The rogue female was determined to find a way down there; so he merely shifted his golden eyes to those of the other male, before introducing them both. "I'm Kaali, and my companion is Friahna."
