Im 20 years old and being a virgn is very important to me and specially who i want to lose it too. I wanted to want till marriage, but Saturday night i couldnt make up my mind eiether to or not. I love this guy that im with and one thing great about this realationship is that we have been best friends snice high school, knowing each other for 6 years and last year we are going out as bf/ gf. heart Just wanting to show him i love him with diff meaning. Well, things went far and he decide to easy himself (pushed a bit) in and i started to feel pain so I wanted to stop.
It didnt go in and plus it wasnt fitting right . Anyways,I wanted to share this moment but somthing told me not too, it fought wrong. I got home and I seen light spot of blood, nothing really. Like you piked her finger type of deal. I was thinking he might of tear a bit of my hymen or he might of pop it. I never took heath class or sex ED. Next day later that after I thought i was about to start my period but i was scared we could of done somthing wrong so i muched down there a bit hard then i started to bleed a bit and it stopeD. I dont know what to do, i dont think im a virgn no more, even though he didnt go though me and we didnt have sex! So please anwsers this question down at the bottom. Sorry i had to cut off quitely, i got things to do!
1. To you do you think im a virgn still, if so why? 2. Did he or did I pop my hymen? Do i still have it?

You're 20 and you've never taken a health class or Sex ed class? neutral Ah well, in regards to your questions: 1) If he didn't actually penetrate you, then you're what I call a technical virgin. You posted in the sticky, so I will go copy and paste my answer from there: Quote: It depends on what your definition of a virgin is. Some people say it's when you break your hymen during sex, others say it's when you do something sexual for the first time. I like the term "technical virgin", in which you're not a virgin anymore because you've done something sexual, but you haven't had intercourse yet so you're "technically a virgin." 2) Now I can see why you said you've never had a sex ed class, because otherwise you'd know where the hymen is. If he didn't actually penetrate you, like insert his p***s INTO your v****a for at least an inch or two, then chances are your hymen didn't break. The blood could've been because you felt pain, which is probably because your body was tensed up from being nervous/anxious, etc. You can go see a doctor about it if you're really worried, but you'll probably be ok. Also, you might want to go take a look at the "Sex Education 101 sticky", as there are some anatomy pictures in there (male and female).

Everything I've seen they hymen mentioned in before said it's at the entrance to the v****a. I don't understand as that's at least twice now I've seen it said in here that the hymen is a few inches in... How could you break it bike riding or horseback riding if it were not at the entrance? Most virgins don't still have theirs due to the fact that most of them are rediculously easy to break and have been perhaps as a child even, simply through physical activity, not nesessarily sexual activity.
I don't think you still have it, and if there was blood that was probably it breaking.
My virginity meant so much to me I cried after I lost it, but I didn't regret it. It was shortly after doing almost exactly what you did. I decided the time was right, the man was right, and I knew waiting until marrage would mean something like six years, as neither of us can afford it, but plan to when we can.

WARNING: Graphic picture of female genitalia. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v600/Nikolita/hymen1.jpg Mmmmm.. one thing is if the hymen is at the entrance then mine is broken then, but one thing is When he push on me ive seen a light spot of blood (ripd it, but didnt break it?) but then the next after noon i was checking myself and i think i mached down hard and i broke It didnt I? If you hadn't broken your hymen before, or if you had just torn it a little, I guess the blood could've been from that, I guess, You could go see a doctor and ask for an examination, and they'd be able to tell you if you broke your hymen or not, and where the blood came from.

I broke my hymen when I was five years old. I fell off of a stool and did the splits. This ripped my hymen open, and I had to go to the hospital. It bled and hurt like hell for a few days. I was still a virgin.
When I first had sex with my current partner, I considered myself a virgin. I had never had sex before, so therefore, that is my definition of virginity. Boys don't break anything or lose anything when they lose THEIR virginity, so it shouldn't matter for women.
Besides, there are women who actually are born WITHOUT hymens.
