My friend Ashleigh, her friend sarah and I
are going to get some tattoos

the thing is sarah is rail thin and can get one any where without it looking funny becaue her body is (sickly)small

I don't have to worry because I'm male and I'm getting apectoral tattoo

but I also am a lover of plus sized girls and my friend ash
is very beautiful and plus sized so;

Shes been trying to figure out for weeks where would be a good place to get it, and since the majority of this guild are BBW, I figured they I could get some good suggestion on where to put a tattoo and females body
she kinda looks like this

I have that same body shape and I think the calf is a great place to get them, I have nine stars on my right one, Its great spot because if you gain or loose weight it won't be destroyed by srteatch marks or get miss-shapend... I highky doubt thats a word but I don't know how else to explain it...

I don't have a tattoo, although I'm getting one.

I personally think it all depends on the tattoo and the person. Personally the tattoo I'll be getting has a lot of meaning to me, but I don't want it to be visible with work clothes... and I don't want to have to wear sleeves when I'm at work if I get one, so I don't want an arm tattoo and I don't want a leg tattoo as it's less-personal for my needs. I don't want to get it in the middle of my chest, though, as if I can I enjoy wearing low-cut shirts to work (also, I think it's supposed to hurt). So for me I was thinking my waist/hip or right under the small of my back... but then if I get pregnant ever I can't get an epidural... so I'm having to think about that.

If she just wants something small, I think wrist tattoos are lovely and they don't seem to gain or lose much weight. Shoulders I think are one of the best options, as well.

But I think it all just comes down to when you go in ask the tattoo artist. My friend's fiancee is one and she told me how he can't stand people coming in and handing him the design they want or just coming in for some random-a** tattoo and not knowing what they want, it's his job... he wants to design you an awesome tattoo. And really, those seem to turn out to be the best tattoos I've seen. So I really think discussing it with your tattoo artist and having him design it before hand and design it for the spot he's going to be putting it on is your best option... but he should have at least tattooed enough larger girls to tell you "Oh no, that's not a good spot"

it depends on that tattoo. because the amount of detail and the size of it will automatically tell you where you cant put it.

if she wants to go more descrete. the shoulder blades, upper arms, calf/shin, lower back, behind the ears seem like the better places because they dont change as much as you gain or lose weight. on top of that, if she works (or wants to work) in a more professional setting, alot of them still frown on visible tattoos.

if she doesnt care about what people think, the wrist, forearm, foot, back of the neck, chest peices are more options to consider.

be wary though that the closer to bone you are (the less muscle and fat there are in the area) the more likely it will hurt.
ive heard that the worst spot to do it is on the ribcages and stomach. i didnt feel a thing at all on my arm (and its also all up to personal pain tolerance levels.)

background check and listen to your artist as well. dont just pick one out of the line up because chances are you might not like it. on top of that, certain artists have stronger fortes than others (dont go to a portrait artist for a nautical tattoo.)

if you have you own design, be open to suggestions. because now its both of yours project (he doesnt want shoddy work out there and you dont want a shoddy tattoo). most tattoo artists are pretty nice guys and will be honest with you when they say something wont work the way you want it, dont be bull headed.

i had other things to say but i forgot haha.
in fact im thinking of getting my next tattoo done soon hopefully. either two behind the ears (if it doesnt look too gay/stupid haha) or an arm or chest peice.

Upper arm or calf sounds like a good place. Also, I know someone who has a tattoo on the back of their neck, and it looks pretty cool.

I've always wanted song lyrics or a classic pinup girl tattoo. whee
