An old friend of mine recently showed up and Showed me this program called SAI. Think of it as a Translated Japanese Photoshop. So, I decided to use it. Now, I finished my first ever digitally painted On-my-own picture! And I can safely say, I am extremely pleased! Now, compare these 2:
This is without SAI, and drawn by hand
This is my pride and joy biggrin

Pretty good, pretty good. I don't know anything about coloring, so I can't offer any tips.

Pretty good, especially for your first try. I'm not very good with coloring yet myself, so I can't really give you advice on it.

@shadowed: Thanks! My skill isn't Ralan-sama, by any means. But one day....
Thanks so much TJ! I tried to implement the white with a Tutorial, but I kept failing so I stopped trying D: I'll keep trying in later pics, though! biggrin
