The young mare trotted to the beat of a steady breeze, and her body felt youthful and light as she moved herself across the countryside. It was a strange sensation, and her grown up self felt enthusiastic and energetic. It was one the first time she was able to travel alone by herself, and although thoughts of her family fluttered into her head, she was content in knowing that she could handle the responsibilities by herself.
When an unexpected gust of wind flew throughout her hair, Betina lunged forward into an even faster trot, while giggling at her own random playfulness. She was surprisingly happy with herself, and even with the weather and land around her. Everything was going great it seemed, and she continued to dart forward without a worry or fear.

Ariston watched as the maroon figure raced across the lower countryside, and he wondered what individual could be so carefree and relaxed in such a gray atmosphere. The weather was undeniably terrible, and the stallion scoffed as he raised his eyes to the threatening weather. And the wind! How could he NOT complain! With a quiet sigh, Ariston walked forward until he was finally able to make out the figure that was now running towards him. It was a young mare, with shiny curls and a bold expression. A strange feeling rested in Ariston's stomach as he watched the mare come closer, and he instantly felt connected to the mare's presence.
Who was this mare? And why was she so... familiar?
Either way, she was completely attractive, so talking to her would be fun, right?! The stallion then swung his mane casually before laying his eyes on the specimen, before finally calling out to her, "Hello there! Why don't you come keep my company." His verbal landing was perfect, and he was content at himself for that.

Betina WANTED to lower her jaw at the stallion, but instead she only approached as politely and elegantly as she could, while staring at the golden male with every blink that she could. Who was this stallion? And why was he.. so.. pretty?! Either way, she grinned at his kind beckoning, before finally approaching him at a light walk.
"Good day to you, sir." she then said, with a light head-bobble. "And why would you need my company? I am just a young mare, with no specific knowledge of anything. I just hope I am able to amuse you." Tina's words made even her giggle, and she smiled while wisping her bangs out of her eyes. This was the first grown stallion that she had met since adulthood, and her mind was racing with advice and knowledge that her parents had given her. Hopefully he wouldn't judge her too harshly, since she was still learning how to compose herself out of childhood!
"What happens to be your name, Mr. Gold stallion?" That was quirky enough, and she figured it was a casual way to find out more about him.

Her personality was just delightful, and she was as punctuate and innocent as her looks! "Well, my name happens to be Ariston, but Mr. Gold stallion also works you know." His amusement was apparent, since he was holding a wide smile throughout his speech. "And I am always in need of company, especially when they are females. But I require that I learn your name first." With a light head drop, he let his hair fall over his face perfectly, before reassigning his vision on the mare. "But it is a pleasure to meet you nonetheless."
The not in his stomach grew heavier, and something told Ariston that this situation was being handled completely wrong. Had he met this mare before? Or was his nervousness arising for no apparent reason? Or could it be.. that his old age was finally setting in?!?!
Good lord, it couldn't be!
"Before we proceed, I must ask you." he then said, with a calm demeanor. "You look utterly familiar, and I can't seem to trace why. Who.. who are you exactly?" There.. that was perfect enough!

"Well I'm Betina." The mare then said, with a quiet smile. "But you can call me Tina, Ariston!" Ariston.. why was that also familiar? Her father had said that name before, but when and where was not traceable in her mind! Maybe she was just being too kind, and making things up internally! "It is a pleasure to meet you too!" she then added, while catching herself in a short inner-daze.
But at the stallion's next question, Tina found herself completely surprised! Maybe she wasn't making her internal confusion up, and she glanced at the stallion carefully before proceeding as correctly as she could.
"Well, I come from a rather huge family. I have many brothers and sisters, but my own parents are Vilinia and Guilian. Do you know them?" With a slight head-tilt, she blinked at the stallion while wondering if she had done something wrong. Ariston.. Ariston.. why couldn't she place two and two together!

Betina, that was a lovely name! "I shall call you Tina then." Ariston then said, while fluttering his wings against a nasty breeze. His energy was soon shifted at the mare's next set of words, and he quickly contained the shock he felt inside, before releasing it all in a hefty laugh.
"Guilian's daughter! Oh MAN!" Damn, THAT'S where his stomach-ache came from! "I knew you looked familiar, but I didn't think you were THAT familiar. I'm not saying that is a bad thing you know, I am just so completely taken aback." Of course.. he had seen Vilinia, and the mare had the lovely markings that the mare had on her own back. And Tina also had Guilian's definite curls, and she also carried his stupendous smile! "This is so awesome.. I get to meet another Guilian-child!"
He wondered if he had freaked Tina out or something, since she probably had no idea of who he was. "I apologize, really. I didn't get to watch you and your brother and sister grow up. I really am a jerk for that, but life has been busy for all of us." But thankfully, they could chat now, and she could tell him all about her life endeavors!

Tina was silent for the most part, until finally realizing that her father had spoke about a tremendous golden stallion. And his name was most definitely Ariston! "Ah well, I remember hearing about you as a child, and that was memorable enough." He was so kind, and he also seemed to know a lot about her family! "How did you know I had a brother and a sister? Do you know all of my family members? That would be crazy because I don't even know all of them.."
Her family was rather crazy.. and that fact alone made her sigh quietly to herself. Her energy was quickly filled up again by the stallion's eagerness to meet her, and she had never been so wanted in her life! "Its really ok, we were always moving around so I am sure it would have been hard to find us!" But still.. if she had met Ariston as a filly, she would have surely had quite a day! "So who do you know well? My father or my mother?"

"I know quite a bit about your family." Ariston then said, as if too proudly. "I know some of your other siblings very well, like Antony and Amary. I also know there are quite a few others, but I haven't gotten the opportunity to meet them yet." It was almost shameful for him to admit that, but he shrugged kindly before proceeding on. "I hope to meet your brother and sister though, I am sure they are just as stunning as you!"
Guilian did have a charm for making wonderful children, and Ariston was proud of his friend for that. Its not like he saw that as something surprising, of course! "I know your father very well, he and I go waaay back." Ariston then chuckled to himself while remembering the good ol' days. "I'll have to catch up with your father soon, and report that you are doing well." He chuckled lightly, before flicking his tail excitedly.

Tina listened with bright eyes, since Ariston knew some of the older siblings she had. "I have only met Antony and Amary briefly, but I enjoyed the conversations I had with them as a filly. They are both so different from each other, so I didn't feel so bad for being so.." she paused, and giggled lightly. "Being so different." It seemed being different was a common theme in their family, and it made the mare chuckle to herself when she pondered it.
"You and my father? You both are like, the most handsome stallions around, so that's no surprise." Tina could see the two walking together, and she realized how completely perfect they would make as friends. Ariston was so laid-back and suave, and her father was the same way! "I was sort of surprised to see a blonde and friendly Kalona, but now that I know you are friends my father, I have no worries at all! I am sorry for sort of doubting you." She was only being cautious.. but now she could ask whatever she liked and know he was a friend!

"Well that is one of the perks to having family, there is room for lots of personality. Like my own children, they are all completely different, but I like that about them. I am sure Guilian also enjoys that about you and your siblings." With a grin, he hoped he could boost her confidence on the issue, since she DID have a lot of siblings, and that could be scary! "And ah yes, I get that Kalona thing a lot. I'm rather used to it by now, that's why I just approach everyone with my natural happiness." With a grin, he flipped his hair out of his face, before returning his eyes to hers.
"I have had a lot of great memories with your father, he has always been one of my closest friends. I pretty much consider him family." Ariston was always there for him, and Guilian was also in the same respect. "You'll see that you will make a friend that great someday, or you might even at this point. I don't have any siblings so, Guilian has always been a brother to me." And Ariston was always thankful for that! Even though he had his sins around him, they weren't as close as he was with Guilian.

"You have family?" Tina then said, with a surprised expression. Though, it would probably be strange for her to be surprised, since her father had quite a huge family himself. "How many children do you have?" So Ariston had a fatherly thing about him as well? That was surprising, but sort of nice to know at this point! "Well, I was only cautious because my mother told me about Kalonas, but there are exceptions, and my father did tell me that!" And now she knew why, because there was Ariston!
"I think I understand that bond you have with him. My sister and I are very close, and I know I can depend on her for anything." With a wide grin, Tina was missing her at that exact moment.. "Its nice knowing you always have someone there who is happy to see you!" Tina only wished she could be that way with her brother, but she was working on it!

He chuckled at the questions about his own family, knowing his was not as impressive as Guilian's. "I only have three children, and they are all grown up. A daughter, and two sons. I see my daughter quite a lot, but my sons tend to do their own things." It was a shame that he never saw them, but Ariston knew that they were busy and doing their own things in life. It was expected of sons. "Its actually sort of funny but, my daughter is extremely close with Antony, so you should pester him about that sometime." A smirk molded on Ariston's face, and he was hoping to give her some advantage at their next family gathering.
"Ah, you and your sister? I have heard that sisterly bonds are unbreakable, so consider yourself very lucky m'dear!" Brotherly bond was also very strong, but at the same time it was different, and that fact alone made Ariston chuckle to himself. Females were just better at being closer it seemed. "And are you as eccentric as your sister, Amary? She seems to be grabbing stallions left and right."

Tina was overly excited to hear about his family, and she grinned while shaking her head enthusiastically at his words. "Wow, I bet they are stunning!" She had no reference to who the mother was, but she figured it was strange to ask that sort of thing. At Ariston's comment about Antony though, she could only giggle loudly. "Oh my, I wonder if Antony will get mad if I ask! Now I will have to next time." Ariston was funny, wasn't he? And so nice! It was as if he was like siding with her or something.
"My sister and I are very close, her name is Rosa. She is so stunning, I try to take care of her, but she is always there for me no matter what." Before Tina could go on, her face molded into one of surprise, since she was very different from Amary! "Amary is talented, isn't she? I.. I think I am quite different, actually. I don't really look to stallions for anything. I just hang out with them, and befriend them.." Wasn't that what Amary did anyway? Tina was really immature about certain things...

"Eh, he will probably show some uncomfort, and then he will have some witty comeback to throw back at you." Ariston knew him very well, and it made the stallion chuckle to himself before pondering some of Tina's other words. "There is nothing to worry though, he will just laugh in the end, and know that you probably talked to me or something."
Ariston was quiet as the mare talked about her sister, and she sounded quite wonderful to his ears. "Ah yes, I will have to meet this Rosa you speak of. Plus your brother.. I just want to see what they look like." And if Ariston could guess, they were probably as wonderful looking as Betina was. "Amary is very talented, and I am sure you will be just as social as she is, with your own spark and personality." Ariston realized that Tina was actually much different then Amary, and he knew instantly that she carried a different flow about herself. "Remember, being different is a good thing!"

"I'm sure you will meet them soon, we are always wandering around together. Even though we are older now, we like to hang out as a family when we can." Tina nodded her head enthusiastically, since she was hoping that she could be the one to introduce Ariston to her brother and sister. That would make her look so cool! Plus, her dad would surely be impressed with her!
"Aye, I will remember that Ariston. You give good advice ya know!" He was obviously older and wiser then her, and she was soaking up as much knowledge as she could from the stallion's experiences. "Amary has tried to give me advice before, and so has Antony. But I don't always listen to them, since I remember my dad making a face at them. They were probably making fun of me or something." Tina wasn't that concerned or upset from it, she knew that was what older siblings did. "Now that I am older, I think up my own plots!"
