"Baaah~!!" a cheerful baby Nihilo shouted, sitting on a blanket playing with blocks. In a short while, the baby had learned to sit up and was finally playing. He could even stack a mean block. Deet would've been a proud father...Had he actually been coherent. The poor man hadn't slept in days: Nihilo was wanting to eat at all hours of the night, and if it wasn't eating, he was just crying to cry! His poor were-cat brain wasn't sure how to handle it.

So, here Deet stood, eyes half shut at the counter of the Cat's Eye. If it wasn't for the small ammount of coffee he managed to drink, he probably wouldn't even been able to stand.

"Hello...Welcome to The Cat'sh Eye Book Shopsh...." Deet said, eyes half closed and clearly on auto-pilot. Ah, customers, while Deet usually was a jolly, happy man who loved them, today he wanted to just close shop early.

With this half-dead cat-man in charge, it was little surprise when Nihilo crawled around the counter with out being noticed. Ah, the wonders of the first floor, some thing Nihilo had never actually explored. And what was this?! A new person! And she was...pretty! And pink!

Nihilo crawled towards her, stuffed ray in hand, staring up at the pretty girl. "Paahhh~!"

Nihilo was liking this girl. She reminded him of Yukito for some reason. "Pah pah pah!!!" he chirped merrily, holding out his arms to be held. Over the months he had learned some useful hand-signs. Grabbing at stuff got you it. Holding out your arms got you held. And most importantly, screaming got you...Well, just about any thing you want!

"...Huh...O-OH! I'm sorry!" Deet said, dashing out from behind the counter, "I'm terribly sorry! He didn't rip out your hair or any thing, did he?! I should've been paying attention but you see I haven't slept in days plus Taxes are due soon not that some one as young as you would know what that is and um...Uhhh..." Deet looked at how comfortable Nihilo was with Mig. It was similar to when they met Yukito in the park.

"Saaaayyy...You're not um, what is it called...A Sin Ace, are you?" Deet said, not remembering how to pronounce it correctly.

"That little guy is Nihilo." Deet explained, before letting out a deep, bellowing, toothy yawn. God, he needed a nap. Just thirty minutes.

"He's, um, yeah, he's a Sin'Aeis as well...Sweet kid, kind of a um, troublemaker, yeah, thats what he is..." Yet again, another yawn. This was getting pathetic and growing worse.

"You'd do that?!" Deet said, immediately perking up and eternally grateful for the entrance of this small blonde Sin'Aeis girl. Oh, if he ever had a daughter he'd name her after her! He's donate half of his funds into whatever business she opened! He was so grateful he could've cried had his tear-ducts not been so exhausted that they didn't even know what to do any more!

"O-Okay...Um, I'll pay you for your troubles, however. You certaintly deserve them. I promise, It'll just be 30 minutes. His bottles in the fridge...Actually, it might be 45. An hour, tops, I promise!!" Deet said happily as he flipped the "OPEN" sign to "CLOSED".

"Baaah!" Nihilo said, which translated loosely into While I might be a handful to him, as long as I get to stare at you awkwardly and you feed me, I feel a compromise can be met.

"Now you behave." Deet said to Nihilo, ruffling his green hair affectionately as he zombie-walked his way towards the elevator that lead to the top floor and his bed-room.

"Waaah!" Nihilo said with a large, broad smile as his snake tongue came out. He was a cheerful little infant, but none the less he was a snake, and thus, just a wee bit creepy looking, despite what you could believe with the footy pajamas.
