The stallion stood at the cliff to smell the ocean's salt and crisp scent of seaweed. His ears flickered forward as his thick mane thrashed in the wind. Beautiful curls remained as if stiff yet they too remained as soft as silk. The unicorn's muscles tensed as the wind brushed passed him as if lightly kissing his pelt. Oh how kind you are m'love. he thought to himself.
He took to the rocky cliff as he started to make his way down to the beach, keeping his tail at his side not to get caught in the creveces. He let his brows knit forward as he tried not to fall and cut himself on the sharp rocks or fall to his death. He was rather far up...this was when he wished he had wings. He pulled forward however the ocean was calling him and he needed to go to her. He whickered softly as reassuring him that he would complete his minor task. The stallion needed lots of reasurring after his heartbreaking past but he would pull through. He always would.

It took the mare quite a while to walk from the forest to the beach. With an appendage that was often numb or hurt when used, the seagreen colored mare considered the length of the travel faster than usual. She'd lived with the limp for a while now; evr since her filly days. It did impede her progress in her travels, but she still got to her destination, whether it be a day or two later than planned. It was worth it though, to be walking slowly along the shore of the beach. The breeze, which was heavy with the sent of the sea's salt, smelt magnificent, and it was just incredibly refreshing.
No wonder the recluse of the family, Marius, always spent his time here! It was... peaceful. A sigh escpaed Cicely's lips as she kept her strides slow, deep blue eyes set on the receeding and forthcoming waves of the neverending water.

Now Adonis was nothing but oblivious so if someone was approaching he wouldn't recognize it until they spoke or were standing right in front of him. Well, that might be over exagerating it a bit, but it was all hand in hand to the somewhat pride he had. Sometimes he was jsut to focused in on himself to notice the things around him. Completely opposite to the young mare he borded with named Eve. Though he never failed to put those dear to him ahead of himself so he couldn't be considered completely pompous.
The male let out one last huff as he made a leap from the rocks to the sandy beaches which could be considered nothing less than graceful. He, however, was far from perfection the beauty on the outside faded as it went to his insides. He was still torn up from his past which made it extremely difficult for him to stay with anyone for a long amount of time. Therefore he had met numerous amount of mares in a short period of time and had no comittment to any of them. It was sad, even for him but he still couldn't bring himself from the pain of the past. He had hoped coming to the ocean that its ability to soothe him would help. To him this was the most serene place he had ever wanted to be.

Compared to the oncoming male, Cicely was actually quite observant and alert. Her ears perked as she heard the sound of a landing... Something heavy? Another horse? Her deep eyes narrowed slightly, flickering around the peaceful scene. Now, where did it come from... She glanced at the waters, which was obviously a no. She turned around with a bit of a limp, gently resting her injured leg against the sand. She almost felt a little dumb when she spotted the large stallion, as she should've noticed almost immediatly. With a mane as long as that, and that black against the soft yellows and tans of the sand... He was not one to try and comoflauge in the beach.
From the distance set between the two, she could easily see the horn atop his head. She had seen a unicorn once before, but they talked very little. They were such majestic breed, she was quite sure that perhaps the other one left so early was because she was well, not very interesting. She pouted a little at the thought, but straightened her back. Well, sh'd prove to be better company this time around! She cleared her throat, tossing her mane back as she sloly walked towards the stallion.
"Quite a leap you did there."

Adonis raised his brow at a very feminine voice, now perhaps it would get interesting? He had hoped. "So you noticed?" he asked with a charming smile. His long mane billowed in the wind as he looked to the small female she seemed more like an apparation then real. She really was an eye catcher. Then again he thought most all females to be beautiful but he was just a hopeless romantic. He couldn't help it.
"May I ask whom I get the pleasure of meeting on this lovely night?" he inquired with the same genuine yet charmed face. His ears flickered to the rushing waves and chirping of dolphins that were soon going to sleep for the rest of the night. It was rather late...
