And yet, the primary thought that enters my mind is:

"DMC4 is out next week. Can I draw this out long enough to call in sick next week?"

You ever called in sick or stayed home just to play a game?

When Soul Calibur II came out a couple of years back, I left school early every day to go home and play the game. I stayed home from school when SSBM first came out, When I got Gitaroo Man and Rez, I skipped school to play them all day.

Man i skipped waaay to many days in high school to play something. I think it was mostly after I got Dragon Quest VIII. But I do know that I skipped at LEAST 2 weeks worth of school. But I still passed, so all is good.

I skipped the day I got my Wii.
But seeing as games in the UK are released on a Friday...3 day weekend.

Cheater D= You're supposed to skip the day, and the following day. Weekends don't count.
Pfft, Weekends can count if you work on weekends! Plus its the best day to play!
