If you have a significant other, it can be nice...but if you don't, it can be depressing for sure. This year it might be depressing. stare
It's also an excuse for creepy stalkers to proclaim their "love". In that way it can be kind of scary. eek

i hate valentine's day. people need a day to spoil their signifigant other? if you ask me, it's a huge load of crap. just a reason for companies to make more money off people.

The only thing that I like about valentine's day is that you can make a lot of money off of it. I'm hardcore capitalist, so a holiday like this I can appreciate to some extent. Usually school fundraisers do well, and as long as the concept of love, not love itself, is being sold, I don't see a problem with it.
As for the romantic part, well, I'm not really good with girls, so I've never had that stereotypical Valentine's day romance, so I can't say I appreciate that aspect.

well ... it's just another day for me and I HAVE SOMEONE. lol we didn't do a d@mn thing for Valentines day this year. last year i think i got some cheap stuffed animal at the last minute. i much prefer nothing. it's not a big deal. rolleyes
