RP between Lilith and Azren~-- Azren was undoubtedly bored. He was lying beneath a large, wilted oak, dark-pelted body covered by the shadows formed from dead or dying leaves above him. Somewhere nearby, a stream trickled over weather-beaten rocks, rolling downhill and farther away. Like other of his race, he hadn't been gifted with sight- merely violet orbs that gave him the appearance of having such. While others besides his own kind still disgusted him and made him angry, he often felt guilty that that he even appeared to have this gift. What things his entire race was missing... they could not see their siblings, the terror they wrecked was only an image inside their mind.
Snorting softly, he let out a large yawn. Today there were no other to harass and beleaguer, no other kitsu to chase down and terrorize. An ear flicked, slightly irritated. What was there to do today? Nothing, that's what. Frustrated, he rolled lazily onto his side, huffing a sigh of irritation. If only there was someone he could converse with nearby, someone like him...

[NMs aren't supposed to be able to see. xD;] Her forked tongue flickered in the air, "tasting" the scents dwelling about. Nothing out of the ordinary, certainly no Angelics. But there was a hint of Nightmare about. Hopefully not one of those pathetic ones that aren't even worthy of their kind, ones she deemed below normals--the worst in her mind. They were the lowest of lows, the dirt inbetween her paws...and so on. Ugh, just thinking about them made her sick.
Massive claws scraped against the ground as she walked, the vibrations against the grounds telling her something unsual was near-by. Confirming it with her tongue, the giant creature moved curiously towards the other Nightmare. This one she never met before. A first impression was always a lasting one. That Nightmare better make a good impression on her, or else she'll judge him before he makes one for her.

(( Yep, fixed it. xD; ))
Absently, Azren caught the faint sound of another approaching. It was quiet in his ears, but it was definitely the sound of something much larger than any normal coming near. Rising quickly from his side and onto his large paws, he face the direction the other was approaching from, tongue flicking carefully from behind his maw. While not a precise way for him to 'smell', it gave him just enough to tell what was approaching. A new face indeed- and a Nightmare, at that. His blind eyes blinked slowly, tail twitching a bit behind him.
"It is a good thing that you're a Nightmare," he said, voice smooth and cool, "If you had been any other, I would have chased and tortured you out of sheer boredom." While Azren wasn't sure of how the other would react, he didn't want them to think that he was weak and soft-minded. He was just as cruel and unforgiving as any other Nightmare that still held a grudge. He merely hoped that this other had somewhat the same views as himself.

Lilith gave way to a roaring chuckle. Him? Chase her around? As if. She wouldn't budge for someone such as him. "You? Me? Chase me and torture you? Are you sure you wouldn not be chasing yourself and toturing yourself by doing so? What is there to even chase after? Illusions of your own self?" It had been a while since she spoke to another Nightmare, but at least he seemed "friendly" enough in her eyes. Friendly as in hating on others.
"You speak of boredom, yet you do nothing about it. Why not wreck some havock on some normals? Or perhaps those disgusting winged ones? Or perhaps you enjoy torturing yourself by doing nothing?" This would take some getting used to. She nearly forgot all about her manner of speech. Rhetorical questions and weird circles which made no sense. This will prove to be fun.

Azren's brow furrowed slightly. Perplexing indeed- trying to figure out answers to this one's questions almost made his head spin. His tail flicked a bit behind him, brushing against the dying grasses. "Of course, I wouldn't dare do such a thing to one like yourself," he replied, voice remaining collected, "I know when such tings are appropriate and when the are not." His ear twitched a bit at the side of his head.
"When you speak of such torture and my boredom," he continued, "It makes me wonder- why should I be distraught with myself when I plot the demise of those other than my own race? When the time comes, I will find a target worthy of my time, and I will haunt them and plague them until they cease to amuse me. Do you see why I wait in boredom? I merely wait for the opportune moment. Perhaps I am foolish for such things, but I would much rather get enjoyment from crying and squealing prey than try countless times and catch nothing but a sickly normal."

Her long ears twitched in curiosity. At least he was "worthy" of her presence. He wasn't one of those disgusting wash-outs of their race who "loved everyone". If her eyes functioned normally, she would roll them in disgust. She wondered what he thought of them...probably the same way she thought of them, she hoped--for his sake at least. The thought of them ranting about those foolish disgraces pleased her greatly. Those were worse than normals. Disgusting.
"It is good to know you are not one of those disgusting ones. Those who enjoy everyone, who bear no hatred towards anyone. Or at least I hope you do, or else you may find yourself liking a little surprise. The normals are worse, but only those of our own kind who like everyone are even more disgusting than them. Nothing could get worse. I am called Lilith, you interest me greatly," She grinned.

Azren tipped his head slightly, in a half-nod. Finally another who hated the other races as much, if not more, than himself. It would seem, for the most part, that his utter boredom had been cured. This other had caught his attention; it was not often one found someone with the same feelings towards other races. Was he racist, then? He could have almost laughed out loud at the thought. Inferiors using their words to name things they feared and couldn't understand... tch.
His ear flicked a bit as she continued, listening intently to her words. He shook his head as she finished, lips curling back from his maw into a large smirk. "And likewise," he started, "-to you. It has been many a day since I have had the pleasure of speaking with one such as yourself. I am Azren."

It was about damned time she found someone else besides Elysia who shared the same hatred their race should. Feeling hatred towards another race was considered racism or prejudice, but her feelings would surpass that...If she could even lay a single hand on those flying monstrocities she would break them down until they were nothing. Flying around so carefree all the time...She would wish to rip their wings off their backs. See how it is to be crippled. Those arrogant angelics think they own the sky...but without a ground there cannot be a sky, and it was they who ruled the grounds.
The grin upon her maw only widened at the thought, "The pleasure is all mine, as well," there was no need to talk in circles with this one. She respected him the same way she respected her "adoptive sister" Elysia, whom shared their same views. "No need for such formailites here, am I right? We are comrades now. You and I."

Azren's grin broadened slightly- he could tell just from the way that she spoke that she shared his deep hatred. Just from this short conversation alone, his drive to go chase down some lower race has arisen once more. It was a satisfying feeling, he thought to himself; that was, the feeling of ones paws closing in upon some smaller creature. Tail brushing the grass next to his body, his tongue absently flicked the air again, catching faint scents of blooming plants, water, and the other Nightmare before him.
"Yes, yes," he replied, tipping his head, though it made little difference, "Comrades indeed." This one had won him over; their thought patterns were much the same. It made for easy conversation and pleasurable company. He would much rather be able to rant with her than have to deal with some sissy, sympathetic Nightmare that would only tarnish their race's reputation.
