A group seperate from the Dark Castle and the core gathers here. This group wishes to stay in Crystalia and want all others to remain aswell. However, they wish for Kaiori's rule to come to an end so that they can call the shots. The members of this group are called Desians.
The Desian base is hidden far south from the core. It is mostly underground but a small blue tinted metallic dome with the entrance in it is above ground. A retinal scanner and fingerprint identifier are located just beside the door so that intruders aren't granted access. Inside the base there is a library with a vast selection of books, a seemingly infinite amount of bedrooms, a training room, a hangar which conceals the Desian's main form of transport, and the leader's control room.

Omni slept in today. He didn't feel like getting up. The night before he took a few trainees for some night time training. It was a terrible night, but it was still funny. Apparently some of the troops were paranoid of the dark, only because Omni had spread a rumor that the part of the forest they entered was the home of a tribe of magical resistance monsters. It was so fun having Ori rustle some of the bushes because even that made them running back to him. Unforunately most of them decided that hiding in the forest was a good choice. Good thing Omni was an expert at hide-and-seek.
Omni felt a poke on his side and squirmed. He sat up on his knees, his blanket wrapped around him like a cloak and hood. His eyes stared lazily at the source which was his holy sword, Orihalcum or Ori. Omni quickly fell back to bed. Instead of poking him again, Ori pushed Omni off his bed.
Omni whimpered and said in his cute voice, "Ori's so mean!"
Omni walked to the mess hall, rubbing his eyes and yawning as Ori floated behind him near his back as though she was being held by an invisible scabbard. Once he entered the mess hall, instead of going in line, he walked behind the steam tables and told one of the workers what he wanted since he wasn't tall enough to pick out his own food.
He carried his tray to a table, but before he sat down he walked back behind the steam tables and got his booster. He sat down as Ori leaned herself against the edge of the table. Being as this was how he usually ate breakfast and how they got new recruits every now and then, he could feel their eyes on him and could picture the comments they could be making.

*Chronic was viewing the monitors in his room, switching the cameras every now and again until he came to Omni* Ah, he's finally up... *Spinning around his leather office chair, he left his control room and proceeded down the staircase and many halls to reach the mess hall* Hmph... *Cocking a brow to all the troops in the room that were suddenly at attention, he moved over to Omni* How's the little guy today? *He pulled up a chair beside Omni and sat down. Chronic was always serious and stern except for when he was talking to Omni*

"Ori gave me a nasty wake up, but I can say I woke up on the right side of the bed," Omni said with a childish giggle. Having been in a 5-year old body for so long, Omni couldn't help but act his part. He can feel many bewildered stares. Not only did Omni did not seem to show respect to Chronic, he didn't greet Chronic at all. "How about you oh so fearless leader?"
Omni took in a spoonful of his Cheerios and a sip of his orange juice as he waited for Chronic's reply.

*Chronic gave a little tiff* Well I can't say I'm entirely off my game today. *He snaps his fingers and points to the toaster. In mere seconds a troop pops in some bread* So... up late training again? *Omni hadn't told him but he had been observing him the entire time with the surveilance system* I told you I wanted to spar with you the next time didn't I?

Omni gave Chronic his most innocent eyes and this was an expression he had worked a hundred years to develope. No one could stand the onslaught of Omni's innocent eyes. "I know Chronic, but..." He began in a pouty voice, "It's in my job decription to terrorize our troops."
Then in an instant the look disappeared as he took a bite from his apple, "Besides if the troops don't have experience in night battle, we would be at a disadvantage for the real thing. Annnnndddddd...." He took another bite of the apple, "There was a good portion that commented that I was an inferior runt. They deserved every ounce of urine they got on themselves."

*Chronic glared at the troops in the room* A runt huh? ....Well at least you showed them what you could do. *He returned his glance back to Omni as his toast plopped down on his plate* I've heard word of some new members of the Core... do you know anything about someone named after a number and a giant? *He bit into the toast and awaited Omni's response*

"A number and a giant? Let me think..." Omni said as he thought, taking a bite of his apple. "The giant is apparently named Aion. The number's name is Zero, I believe. My subordinates said that the Zero guy was possibly a fallen angel because he had black wings. He's occupied with serving Kaiori at the moment. The Aion guy seems a bit dangerous, but does not pose a current threat. He was last seen leaving the Core towards the direction of the Dark Castle. He might go to their side."
Omni finished his apple and looked at his empty tray. He didn't realize he was already finished. "I'm going to head into the Core to gather some info. I'm sure there's been more arrivals since those two as well. You need me to get you anything?"

*Chronic thought for a moment. A fallen angel?* Hmm... *He pushed his plate aside and stood up* Bring me more information about this Zero if you can... and be careful kiddo. *Chronic knew for a fact that Omni was older than he was, but he couldn't help calling him that* I'll be in the hangar working on the new project. *He headed off to find it*
*The moment he left the troops began whispering to one another* Troop 1: What's with the kid? Why does he get special treatment? Troop 2: Better question....why does he get to boss us around? Troop 3: I bet he's got some dirt on the captain...

"Later, Boss." Omni said as he climbed down from his booster. "Ori I need you..." Orihalcum had disappeared from her spot against the table. Omni looked around for her, wondering where his sword went.
Ori though had drifted herself over to the table of whispering soldiers. With a quick swipe at the back legs of their chair, they fell backwards. The troops stumbbled backwards as Omni held a giggle while Ori returned to her spot as though nothing had happened. Omni walked over to them and bent down to them.
"Had a nice fall, soldier?" Omni said with a childish smile, "Let me help you up."
Using one hand, Omni practically tossed them back up on their feets. The troops looked at Omni with wide eyes full of new found "respect".
"Th-thank you sir." They said and quickly gathered their things, leaving in a flash. Everybody who were new was staring at Omni, wondering where the holograms were. The few soldier who were under Omni, smiled and gave a thumbs up to him.
"Ahem," Omni began and said cheerfully, "Anyone of you yellow dogs think I got dirt on our captain?"
"No sir!" Omni was able to pick out the voice of the noobs and his own subordinates. Taking his tray and setting Ori on his back, he returned his tray and out of the mess hall to his room. If he was going to the Core he would need to dress his part.
"Ori I need you to stay here since I'm goin- oof!" Orihalcum had zipped over, pressing her flatside against Omni's body and too a near by wall. A sweatdrop fell on the side of his face. "Well, Ori if you were smaller or maybe something a 5-year old kid would carry that would be fine... but you know... " He gently pushed Ori away as he finished dressing. Ori kept on pressing against him. "Ori we had this discussion already. Come on... calm down now.."
Omni pushed Ori away again then ran out of his room, closing the door behind him before running off into another direction. Ori had crashed through the door bent on following Omni wherever he went. This was more than a daily event, it was a routine. If Ori couldn't find Omni around the base, she would head towards the Core in search of him. Omni usually found himself on one of the transports without Ori and this was one of the days. Starting up the transport, Omni begins his way to the Core.

*Chronic walked out of his control room with a satisfied look on his face. From the other side of the door, a noise was being emitted that only angels could hear. It would call to them and if the angel couldn't resist, it would bring them to the Desian Base. This was the only way of seeing if his suspicions of the Core's new recruit were true* Any time now... *He walked down the winding staircase, down the hall and into the elevator that would take him aboveground to the entrance*

*After much walking(apparently a lot seeing how long it took), Zero finally made it to the Desian base. He appeared to be a man possessed, not even blinking as he walked through the desert-like land. He finally came to the dome and took off his right glove. Still not consciously knowing what was going on, he placed his hand on the scanner and allowed his eye to be scanned aswell. The door to the elevator flung open and he walked in*
