Fel Essence: Radioactive Goo – A radioactive substance that doesn't effect humans nor a certain amount of living creatures, but is incredibly deadly to plants. Due to its irregularities this vial of rare material is believed to be tainted and is now categorized as a fel essence by Dr. Kyou.
Soul: Unicorn - A mythical equine that possesses a single spiral horn growing out of its forehead. Elegant and long-limbed, the unicorn is far more graceful and intelligent than a horse, but tends to resemble one to those without the ability to see the difference. They are prone to only showing themselves to those pure of heart, often virginal maidens, and hiding away from anyone they sense to be less trustworthy. Often is it said their horns can purify water or heal wounds, but such details vary from story to story.
Appearance: Despite being very little else but a torso that tapers off at the end, Gage's form is simple enough to determine. His arms are thin-limbed and what can be seen of his face above his mask appears somewhat sharp, yet remarkably youthful. Strange even by Raevan standards, Gage only possesses four fingers on either of his hands, which originally left him a bit awkward by way of using many household objects. Fortunately, as of late this has not slowed him down in the slightest and he has shown strong signs of being ambidextrous. While most of his skin is an unusual shade of green similar to fresh moss, a darker shade of the pigment twists and swirls in order to create natural tribal tattoos down along either of his arms. Dots and blotches of that same darker color appear along his torso and hands as well, and it is yet to be decided if they are merely physical decoration or if they serve some actual function. Gage's hair is a silvery white, similar to the shade of the coat of the unicorn whose soul he carries. In conjunction with gravity his bangs fall more or less flat along his face, parted only around his sharp, spiral horn which juts out from the approximate center of his forehead. The rest of his hair pushes straight out towards behind him in hard, messy strokes and spikes. His eyes are inverted so that the pupil is a somber, yet light hue of yellow, whereas the iris is an obviously darker shade of brown. Laying flat along either side of his skull are long, dark green ears reminiscent of a horse's, just split into two, dark green halves with fleshy tan color on the inside.
Gage's clothing is greatly fused with his body from his leathery mask that constantly and always covers the lower half portion of his face to the metallic blue tubes that push out from the back of his neck to connect with his equally mechanically crafted wings. Bracers that match his mask and beginnings of a shirt take up most of his forearms and it is that same material which makes up his stray end that is typical of all frei. Compared to his kin, due to Gage's skin coloration and requirement to wear a device over a good deal of his current body, he is quite unusual and often set apart by appearance alone.
Personality: Gage is first and foremost a shy individual. In social situations, he is often at odds with both himself and others due to his natural demeanor that quite clearly suggests he has no idea how to handle his kin or people in general. He is inclined to be a spectator rather than a participator in the grand schemes of things, and while he often has a mind to say something, he rarely ever speaks it aloud. On the odd occasion in which the radioactive frei chooses to be verbose, his words are said slowly and methodologically as he often takes every word to heart before uttering it. The truth behind his timid nature could either stem from a dislike of most outsiders- a feeling strongly influenced by his guardian- or the simple fact he is extremely self-conscious about his peculiar appearance. Easily overshadowed, Gage has learned from one situation or another that most people do not wear masks and he prefers to follow rather than lead. Only recently has the young Raevan decided he might try and change his tactics in order to be better seen by those he wants to be noticed by.
However, Gage's odd system of speech and damaged relations with others hardly affects his intelligence. From creation, he has always been quite bright and apt to soak in anything Julian is willing to teach him. For quite some time he was content to be completely dependent upon his guardian due to the human male's stern nature and his own apprehensive personality, and during that period was continually working within Julian's private study and X Labs. Conversely, as of recent, the green-skinned Raevan has turned at least a good portion of his back upon both his keeper and his studies.
