((A private RP between my Aveshar and DED's Kanti Nuttah.. Enjoy!))
Today more than usual, the need to rend and rip rode Aveshar heavily. Instead of his usual decietful charm, he radiated anger... A deep, endless well of rage that poured through his every vein and vessel, darkening the very air around him. His markings glowed white-hot, almost blinding.
And he moved through the woods like a toxic boil of living night. A malevolent, hating, silver-marked night.. In search of victems... In need of prey.
"Come play with the dark." He whispered through the woods.

 The mare sat beside an open fied, eyes silent in thought. Se had a life now; two fully grown children and a sense of calmness. That life, though, was one that seemed to much like her mother; doomed to a future of seeming boredom.
No. Something was missing from hers. Kanti Nuttah glanced up to the sky, seeming to search the splotches of blue for an answer in any form. She needed something, this hollowness that seemed to be within her nowadays. She needed... completion, and she was willing to take it in whatever form.

Drawn out of the sweet dark of the woods by a Siren's call of need Aveshar stepped into the clearing of the dark mare, flaring open his amethyst dusted wings. With a whisper they unfurled, and he stretched them, before carefully folding them to his back. When he was sure he had the mare's attention, he took another step closer.
What a pretty little picture. A dainty dark mare, standing alone in the clearing, in the center of the woods... No others around for a good gallop to be sure... The conditions suited Aveshar well, he was never one for crowds. Turning his attention to the emotions he sensed from her, he perked dark ears, and didn't bother hiding his wicked smile.
Unfulfilled, her need for something had touched a chord in him. And as there was no 'pleasant' strand in his body, it called something very dark out of the deep woods. "One should be very careful, of what one wishes..."
His voice was calm, and even friendly, with the touchable quality of black velvet... As smooth and as inviting as his shining coat and firm muscles, as dangerous as the glint of madness in his eyes, the pleasure he took in causing pain. "Very, very careful... Some things just don't turn out like you planned..."

Her ears gave a quick twitch and her head turned as the flaring of wings caught her attention out of the corner of her eye. She could feel her muscles tense as he moved closer; if she ran, he would merely chase, would he not? Without a doubt, he would be able to catch her... Kanti flicked her tail a bit and her red eyes narrowed as she mentaly beat herself for coming this far out alone.
"What do you want, Kalona." Her voice was cold; an attempt to muster up whatever courage she had left to mask the blatant fact that she was afraid. Seriously afraid, for once. Whatever emptiness she had felt before was now replaced with this irrational(or not) fear of what was to come next.
Standing quickly, she tensed and watched him, her tail twitching lightly.

Aveshar made no sudden moves, keeping his expression of feigned pleasantness. He couldn't very well make his eyes seem open and innocent, after all, most couldn't see past the glow to the truth of him... The dark pathways his mind twisted along... His tendency for blood and fighting, his like for pain...
"You needed something, Dark Lady... You wanted something... And you've got it." He smiled. "I am Fayth, we can sense many things... I know you fear me, despite your brave face..."
He took several advancing steps, eyes brightening. "It excites me, makes me want to chase you..."
His teeth snapped on air. "We both know you wouldn't get away."
He flexed his wings and made a dismissive move with his tail. "Now, let us discuss what brings such a delicate thing such as yourself out to the middle of nowhere, by herself... Shall we?"

She could hear her heart beating in her ears, loud enough to be almost deafening. His voice, though. His voice rang past and pierced through her mind, and she found herself unable to move as he stepped closer. He knew... He knew she feared him. Was it that obvious?
And like that her facade shattered, and the fear showed blatantly in her eyes. He was right. She wouldn't get away; she couldn't. But something in her, even through her fear, made her not want to get away. Something in her loved the thrill that this fear brought her.
"I..." Her voice trailed as she watched him, unmoving. "I suppose I was just... collecting my thoughts."
Her ears pinned back lightly and a shudder ran down her back. "You haven't answered me, though. What is it that you want, Kalona."

He liked the sound of her racing heart... Canted his head to the side to better hear it, eyes going half-lidded with lazy pleasure as he basked in the sound of her fear. The sudden flash of fear in her eyes made him purr eagerly, nostrils flaring widely to draw in the scent.
Collecting her thoughts? Now there was something he hadn't heard before... But why would a young mare seek complete solitude to search her thoughts and instead spend her time wishing for something she didn't think would arrive.
And yet he had. Aveshar smiled widely at that.
"Whatever it is in my power to give to you, ma chere..." He crooned, nipping at her braided mane. "I make it my business to help poor friendless creatures..."

Her jaw clenched lightly as her drew closer and her head pulled away lightly. This stallion, this Kalona... She didn't understand what he wanted. Well, perhaps she did. Kanti snorted lightly as she argued with herself in her mind. Part of her already hated this being. Hated his for the fear that he brought. But at the same time, she loved the thrill that his presence brought...
A light shiver ran down his spine as her felt the nipping at her braid. She bypassed his comment and gave him a a blank look out of the corner of her eye. "Who are you Kalona. You seem to know my... wants, but I don't believe I even know who you are.

"It is the nature of the Fayth to know many things, My Sweet..." He shrugged and flicked a wing carelessly. "The Dark Fayth would be no different... But if it is a name you want, my name you may have... I am called Aveshar.. And you?"
He tilted his head at her, eyes flashing bright with madness and hunger.

"Well then, Aveshar the Dark Fayth." Her tail twitched at the look she saw in her eyes, and her stomach began to flutter. "My name is Kanti Nuttah." There was a pause. "Named by my mother, meaning 'my Heart Sings'." She flicked her braid over her shoulder and watched him silently, her ears pinning back again.

"Simply Aveshar, if you please... An unfortunate name for you, my pet..." He smiled wickedly. "My mother was a song, I hear all music... Yet another reason I was able to find you, perhaps?"
He inhaled, scenting her emotions.

"Pet?" Kanti snorted and arched a brow at him, seeming to ignore his other comments. Something about his mother? Her tail twitched and she glanced over at him. "You say that as if this was something that was inevitable, revolutionary." It wasn't, was it? Just another meeting. Just another stallion.

He gave an enigmatic smile and shrugged. Like all females, Kanti seemed to hear whatever she wished to. "Perhaps, perhaps not... We are all Kings and Pawns, one once said... I prefer to think of myself as the former... I collect the latter..."
He tilted his head, then smiled. She would be lovely to add to his collection.

"A collection," she repeated lightly, arching an inquisitive brow in his direction. Is this what she was, then? Just another pawn to add do his little... collection? A pang(she wasn't quite sure what that was, jealousy, perhaps?) ran through her but she muted the feeling. Another realization ran through her. She most likely didn't have a choice in this...

"Each jewel is different, a different type of beauty, but they are all beautiful... And one should collect things that please oneself, do you not think so?" He tilted his head slightly and paced a loose circle around her, considering from various angles.
"You are quite pleasing to the eye..." He murmured conversationally as he caught the stray bit of thought.
Fangs flashed in a wicked smile. A choice? No... She didn't really have a choice at all....
