Butbutbut I don't have any answers yett! I haven't even started. But I come on later tonight to help! =D Did we have math homework?

So far these are the answers I have. Feel free to copy my answers, just change the wording. And tell me if any of the answers are wrong!
All the ones in bold, are the ones I didn't get.
1. The priests come to the altar at Thebes because Oedipus summoned them so he could learn how the plague was spreading and how he could help cure it. 2. Oedipus liberated Thebes by figuring out the riddle of the Sphinx. 3. Creon is away from Thebes when the story opens because he was out looking for Tieresias. 4. According Creon Apollo wants Laius's murderer found and punished. 5. Laius was killed by Oedipus when they got involved in a road rage. 6. The death of the king wasn’t investigated because a plague was placed on the city and they were more concerned with that. 7. The members of the chorus are supposed to be the people of Thebes. 8. A summary of the prayer made by the chorus is… 9. Oedipus offers … as a reward for information about the murderer… 10. Oedipus threatens to kill anyone withholding information about the murderer. 11. Oedipus has sent for Teiresias because he wants to know who killed Laius, so they can cure the plague. 12. Teiresias didn’t come immediately when Oedipus called for him because he didn't want to reveal to Oedipus the truth about the murderer. 13. Oedipus first grows angry with Tieresias because he won’t tell him the information about Laius’s killer. 14. Tieresias grows angry with Oedipus because he keeps pressing for more details about Laius’s murderer. 15. Tieresias makes the accusation that Oedipus is Laius’s killer. 16. Oedipus grows angry with Creon because he thinks he’s trying to take over the throne. 17. Tieresias makes a prediction that Oedipus will become blind, and perish. 18. The people feel unsure and skeptical about the accusations Tieresias and Oedipus are making. 19. Oedipus thinks that Creon is plotting to take over the throne. 20. Creon shares Oedipus’s power because he is Jocasta’s brother. 21. According to Creon he wouldn’t want to be king because… 22. Creon tells Oedipus to go to Delphi so he can figure out how to end the plague. 23. Jocasta says that there is already too many fights in the kingdom, and they don't need anymore. 24. Oedipus releases Creon because he is Jocasta's brother and she would be mad if he held him there. 25. Jocasta’s proof that humans cannot prophesize the future because Laius was predicated to die at his son’s hands, but she thought her son was already dead; so there would be no way for him to kill Laius. 26. Oedipus is so disturbed by Jocasta’s description of the prophecy because he had the same prophecy told to him. 27. Jocasta granted the slave who witnessed the murder… 28. Polybus and Merope are Oedipus’s adopted parents. 29. The drunken man’s story bothered Oedipus because he said that Polybus and Merope were not his real parents. 30. Oedipus went to Delphi when he was a young man to find out if Polybus and Merope were his real parents or not. 31. Oedipus ran away from home because he did not want to kill his father and marry his mother, like the prophecy said he would. 32. Oedipus killed the travelers because he got angry at the travelers, basically road rage. 33. Jocasta is sure that the prophecy is wrong because Laius didn’t die at the hands of her son. 34. Oedipus sends for the shepherd because he wants to know the truth about his identity. 35. The chorus sides more with divine prophecy. 36. Jocasta gives the temple of the gods… 37. The messenger says that Polybus has died. 38. Jocasta says the death of Polybus is a “blessing” because, that means the prophecy is not true. 39. The messenger knows that Polybus was not Oedipus’s father because he was the one who gave Polybus the baby, so he knew Polybus wasn't his real father. 40. Oedipus got his name because Jocasta stuck pins in his feet before they left him to die on the mountain, and Oedipus means swollen foot. 41. Jocasta tells Oedipus to not search for answers of his birth because the answers won't be good. 42. The man who witnessed the killing of Laius and the other men. 43. The messenger and the shepherd know each other because they both worked for Laius. 44. Oedipus threatens to torture the old shepherd because he won’t tell him the information he knows about his identity. 45. The shepherd reveals that Polybus and Merope arent Oedipus’s real parents and that Laius and Jocasta are. 46. Jocasta gave her child to the shepherd because he was prophiszed to kill his father, Laius, and marry his mother, Jocasta, and she didn’t want that to happen. 47. The shepherd didn’t kill the baby because another person wanted it to give to Polybus and Merope, and the shepherd felt sorry for the baby. 48. The chorus is shocked to hear the truth about Oedipus, and they don't want him as their king anymore. 49. Jocasta dies by hanging herself. 50. Oedipus blinds himself by poking his eyes out of their sockets. 51. Oedipus blinds himself instead of killing himself because he thinks he deserves to suffer, rather than perish and not feel pain. 52. Creon replaces Oedipus as ruler of Thebes. 53. Creon orders that Oedipus be taken to the palace so he can see his daughters one last time. 54. Oedipus asks Creon to banish him from Thebes and have him sent away. 55. Oedipus asks Creon to take care of his children like they were his own. 56. Creon grants Oedipus the wish to see his kids one last time.
