Flocks can be very different and run in completely different ways, a Pidge in one Flock may have a completely different status in another. Flocks can have unique jobs which are only found in thier flock. (limit of 2 unique jobs per flock) Also Different Flocks may have laws banning somthing which is commonplace in another flock

Pidge may start thier own Flocks, To start a Flock a you will need:
A group of at least 8 Pidge
These Pidge need to elect a head
Your group must then settle on a name for thier flock (this name once chosen cannot change, so choose well)
This Party must contain: 1 Witch / Doctor , 1 Nanny, 2 Guards , 2 Scavengers
This Party must make a list of Laws, some laws have to be included
This Party must decide on thier new Roost location
This Party must decide on a colour to represent thier flock

When creating a new flock some ideas may have to be edited and changed and some ideas batted around and played with,
An good tip for a new flock is to give it a sightly interesting and unique twist, it doesnt have to be huge (and really is better if it isnt completely melodramatic) as the most subtle of things can often be the most rich of experiences.

But please the biggest of all things for player controlled flocks is do not turn it into a clique, so that only close friends and players are given prime positions and attention, while new players are picked on for not knowing the ropes like clockwork. If this starts to rear its ugly head. Im afraid We might have to step in and give your flock a shake up. (which may involve firing your flock heads, I doubt this will happen ever, It would have to get ridiculous for that)

(For the time bieng Flock-making is barred)

'Big Ma'

User Image

A bird full of joy, Big Ma has time for everyone and everyone makes time for Big Ma. No one can remember what her previous name was as she has been going by the name for so long. She has a wide old head on her shoulders and loves to be an agony aunt, she'll listen to any pidges problem and hand out advice in exchange for food or trinkets.
Big Ma just fell into place as the head of flock, the ragtag group neaded a leader and it was decided on the spot that Ma was prime candidate, she chose this flocks current roost (an old run down cotton mill) and her good decisions mean her place as leader is secure for a good time.
One thing to remember is that she is not smiles all the time and hides a strong and powerful temper, NO-ONE wants to get on the wrong side of Ma

Claude

User Image

Claude is the pigeon who has the mind of a falcon, its a great shame because it is a useful mind, its just that its trapped inside a pigeon. This makes his attitude seem hilarious and its hard to take his military style approuch to keeping the flock safe very seriously at all.
He takes the flocks defence very seriously and he's afraid of the roost bieng taken over, his strange and quite aggressive nature has managed to gain him some fans. Usually young males who find Claude to be a great source of entertainment, these young males make up the very small and quite innaffective 'Pidge Patrol'. His position as a head of flock is stable, many see Claude (as strange as he might be) to be a source of strength within the flock and he can drum out a brilliant motivational speech now and then.

Reverend

User Image

Reverend is an escapee show pigeon, he claims to be well traveled and know many famous people (he claims to have once met the green giant from the sweetcorn tins). Reverend's attitude to mast things is that hes 'been there and done that'. His high-flying imagination makes him a great storyteller.
The only reason for Reverends position as a head of flock is his unusual breeding at the time of voting in a kind of council, Reverend was still a great oddity in the flock.

Reverend's position is currently under threat from other pidges within the flock.

Baker

User Image

Baker is the leader of this new flock. Baker left Ma's Flock with a small group of his own followers after breaking on multiple occasions the 'partner for life' law. He left Ma's flock very bitter and on bad terms. Over time this small grudge has grown and much of the flock have soaked up a dislike for Ma's. (some dont even know the reason that they dislike this flock they just know that they should) Many of Bakers flock can be discribled as quite bohemian and creative and enjoy partys and performances. This Flocks roost is under a large bridge further out of town. Baker himself is quite a good leader if you ignore spreading an ungrounded hate for Ma's flock. He tries to know the name of every other flock member and prefers not to treated like a leader or a head of flock and just as a fellow pidge. In spite of this when it comes to punishments for law breaking he is surprisingly harsh.

Happy Hour

User Image

Happy Hour likes to run what she describes as the 'Industrial Flock'. She loves to spread her love for creating and making and it seems to have rubbed off quite nicely on her flock with Inventing and Textile work being worked upon in a big way. Her longtime mate is Halifax, who is usually absent, this doesnt seem to really bother her very much as both Pidge are stronly passionate about thier interests. Although she does really want to raise a family of her own some day, but as she is still a young bird imagines that this can wait.

The General

User Image

The General is a pidge of few words and even fewer praises. No one really knows how he ended up in Happy Hour’s flock but his stern and concise planning has increased security around the roost. Although his no-nonsense attitude is not always welcome within the flock, The General tries his hardest to keep everyone safe. The Gen is very touchy about his breed – especially when it comes to his tail feathers. In fact, he lost his leg when he was younger in a fight over an insult about them. It might seem like The General is just a crotchety old man but he is surprisingly kind to chicks and is often found in the company of many youngsters.
