First off I want to welcome all the new members to our slow running guild at the moment. PLease stick around as we try to bring this back up to pace with what we wanted in the first place.
We're still debating on whether to just start over or continue from where we left off.
Now onto the good part: For all the new members: please know that not everyone can be:
1) L, Near, Mello, Matt, ect.
2) Kira
3) On the Police Team
The biggest problem with our last run was the mass of people wanting to be one of the top two. Please understand that we're trying to be as real as possible here.
PM me once you have read this so I'll get an understanding of how many people really come here.

We have a K and two Kiras right now. We won't be getting another K until/unless something happens to the current one. As for Kiras, one is inactive, so there may be another Death Note later, but only after someone has proven themselves dedicated enough to the RP to handle it.
As for number three, I'll have to let Enishi answer, as he's heading it at the moment...

I'm saying that, at the moment, we have an L (K) and we have a Kira or two. We can't have six Kiras running around, the RP just wouldn't get anywhere productive. There are plenty of other parts besides being Kira or L, and all of those, save for teh head detective in the Kira case, are still wide open. You could be someone on K's team, someone he calls in to help with the case. You could be a Kira supporter, a very loud one, and do tons of radio or TV broadcasts in her honor. (*snicker*) You could even be some random person who ends up getting suspected of being Kira. Possibilities are endless, they're not limited to just two roles.
Now, further down the line, the parts of Kira or L may open up again. Kira may get caught or give up her Note and Loki may give a Death Note to someone else. Something could happen to K, leaving a void for someone else to step into. Those roles would be first offered to members of the RP who played through, those who had stuck around and proven themselves, rather than some random newbie.
As for how to be active...create a character, find someway to join the story line, and stick around for a while. We'll be in for a good time.

Sure I'll be in the police force But I'll agree with Kira's doings... I'd just like to catch him b/c i'd like to prove that murderers will not prevail... or something how to I make a character..?

Wait a minute. How can you agree with Kira's killings are for the betterment of society and at the same time, still want to capture him for killing? Seems kind of contradicting, if you ask me.

Seems kind of contradicting, if you ask me. lol, just a little. Now I'm going to have to make a new thread in the chatterbox section of the guild. Make sure everyone goes and posts.
